This place is feel unsafe. We met a weird guy in the carpark asking about illegal things. Also, have some weird guy keep walked around the carpark try to rob the car that is not lock. ALSO , when we get our room the room not even cleaned. But, the reception guy changed it. But the bed is so itchy!!!! Wonโ€™t come back forever!

Stayed here for just one night. Parking plentiful, rooms not large, but looked & smelled clean. Bathroom looked & felt clean with dispenser soap at sink and in shower. Saw a hair dryer, didn't try it. Water pressure in shower was great, as was available hot/cold water. Shower railing closed from both directions which I liked. Microwave (unplugged, didn't need to use) and mini fridge (clean, didn't smell) available in room, tea/coffee (2 sets of cup/saucer & cutlery), toaster (unplugged, didn't need to use) so not a fancy place but the basics are done right if you needed the above amenities. Tidy hanging space with plenty of hangers, large mirror, desk, 2 chairs, aircon, free to air TV. Sign said foxtel outside but wasn't sure how to access it, only TV and aircon remote in room. Most importantly, good wifi. I could see myself working remotely quite comfortably from here if needed. Room I was in wasn't drafty which I appreciated. Spare pillow and ironing board in cupboard. Close to what I needed.

Stayed here for 2 nights and its not bad. Not too expensive at $120 a night, I liked the big king sized bed and the air con. I also liked the YouTube on the TV. The toilet was a bit hard to use. Too close to the wall. I'll probably be back in the summer to use the air con.

Bed was comfortable but noise from somewhere (maybe even next door), didn't allow for a minutes sleep all night. Toilet access in bathroom definitely restricted in having shoulders, hips and thighs. If you are a size 12 then I could recommend this place.

Been going there for ten years, always excellent service, the rooms always smell fresh and clean, doesn't have the musky highway motel smell, and house keeping doesn't come busting in at 10, they let you wake up!

Stayed here for a night after a 12 hour drive to Sydney. Whilst itโ€™s not the flashiest motel, itโ€™s comfy enough. The pillows were quite flat and found my self having to stack them but also found myself falling asleep quite easily, another plus is the bathroom which was really nice, the showers water pressure was really nice however the temperature would change randomly but that was due to others showering at the same time i believe. Overall, nice motel, good for an overnight stay but wouldnโ€™t stay multiple nights.

Very happy with my accommodation. Crisp clean sheets, comfy bed, tv, air conditioning, ironing board, extra pillows and blanket, et cetera... walking distance to restaurants and close to beautiful, old Ashfield Park. I highly recommend this motel.

The shower head pressure in my room was better than some Marriotts and Meritons. Very happy ๐Ÿ‘Œ

We had a very nice stay. The room was very clean and tidy, and very well equipped (WiFi, tv, microwave, fridge, kettle, iron...) Free parking Laundry (3$) and dryer (4$) Good service. Location is not very far away from the city centre (35-40min) with buses right in front of the motel or a train station 10min away. Shopping centre 15min away.

It was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was warm. Staff were decent but if youโ€™re hear and ordering Menulog make sure the delivery is correct. I had my food delivered to a house behind the motel, no idea how or why. Anyway I didnโ€™t get bed bugs and I felt refreshed for the next day so it gets 4/5. Great motel for a working week.

The rooms are cheap and affordable. Clean with microwave and toaster. We got stuck in Sydney due to flooding. So we were here for a week and a half. It isnโ€™t the motel that made the stay but the staff. Wonderful people who were helpful polite. Right near leagues club which had wonderful affordable meals. Vegan options was great. Affordable clean well situated motel. Thank you for making our stay so good ๐Ÿ˜Š

Was charged 170 at counter for rooms advertised at 142, advertising Foxtel but don't have smart capable TVs and basic tv dropping in and out of reception, when I spoke to them at reception was told it's probably the weather, if you are looking for value for money look elsewhere

During my recent stay at Westside Motor Inn, I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and relaxing ambiance of the rooms. It was evident that the staff took great care in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, making my stay truly comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of this inn is its convenient location. With just a short walk or bus ride from Ashfield Plaza and the train station, there are plenty of nearby activities to explore. Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or simply take in the local sights, the inn's proximity to these attractions is truly unbeatable. Furthermore, the walkability in the area is exceptional. With a bus stop directly out front and a short walk or bus ride from both Ashfield Plaza and Ashfield Station, getting around the area is a breeze. This convenience allowed me to easily navigate the city and make the most of my time exploring. In addition to its excellent location, Westside Motor Inn also offers fast and reliable wifi, which was a noteworthy detail for me. Whether I needed to catch up on work or simply stay connected with loved ones, the reliable internet connection made it effortless. Overall, I found Westside Motor Inn to be a great value. The combination of clean and relaxing rooms, proximity to nearby activities, and the added perk of fast and reliable wifi truly exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in the Ashfield area.

We stayed here for 1 night, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy, was a small room but was fine for what we needed. We caught the train into the City which was close by. Would definitely stay here again, we travelled up from Melbourne and the trip into the motel was good, straight forward.

Needed a room last minute as our flight was cancelled and a lot of places closer were booked out. Was pleasantly surprised with the service and the room. Nice clean comfy beds, air con and warm shower. Could hear a fair bit of road noise and a weird ticking noise in our room (24) but we were that tired it didnโ€™t keep us up for long.

Negative first: the room has an air con but there is no cool function (dry, heat, and auto settings only. Auto provided no cooling whatsoever). We stayed here on one of the hottest days so far (43 degrees) and the room stayed hot. I thought it may have just been too hot for the aircon to work efficiently, but we left it on while we went out. There was a cool change in the weather, but when we returned to the room, it was hotter inside than out. We had to sleep with the windows wide open which unfortunately then meant we could hear street noises and sirens all night. The toilet in the bathroom was extremely close to the door and I hit the toilet roll holder every time I sat down. Positives: Staff are friendly. The room was very clean and neat. There was a double and a single bed, both beds quite short, but still comfortable (though sometimes noisy when rolling over). The curtains worked well to block light and the windows do provide good airflow (when both bathroom window and main window are open). The showerhead, though a bit janky, had excellent water pressure and good temperature (for summer, anyway). The motel is only a short walk to Ashfield train station, and there is ample parking on site.

Good deal, with nice carpark. Man at reception was good. Hotel was fully booked so i unfortunately got the worst room(1) close to stairs and main reception (perhaps a laundry room next door?) was a little noise polluted. The rooms was pretty stock standard. Had a microwave and a hot shower, shower head was a little goofy. (Needs slight maintenance.) Not sure if it was often or this particular night. There was some hooning on the main road nearby and alot of sirens. Night sleep interrupted. Bed was very warm and comfortable. Has TV, Iron and board... and a nice closet. Customer service was a good genuine experience.

This is a great 3 star motel. Room and bathroom had a couple of tiny wear-and-tear nicks, but were very clean. The room had a great TV, excellent AC and a handy fridge and microwave โ€“ and free WIFI. The hot water pressure is excellent and it comes on immediately. Bed was very comfortable. The towels are fine. I'm not sure why previous reviewers mention them -- perhaps they're used to towel sheets? The on site self-serve washer/dryer was a big bonus. The nights were surprisingly quiet as rooms do not face the street (I had a great sleep). Check in/out was friendly. I felt safe and secure โ€“ even when arriving back to the hotel after midnight. The highlight is the fantastic mid-century modern exterior. I hope they never change it. Recommend this place if you need a reasonably priced, comfortable, clean space thatโ€™s near transport. I'd stay again if I'm ever back in the neighbourhood.

Free parking is great but the room was very basic. Bathroom floor gets flooded but only tiny floor towel is given. Only one glass for cold drink in a twin room. No wine glasses. We needed an inexpensive accommodation with parking near Leichhardt and this was the only place left but I prefer not to come back here again.

Looks can be deceiving, it looks plain and basic from outside. Inside rooms are very comfortable clean comfy beds and awesome shower, great pressure. Towards the back, u cannot hear road noise. West's club 3 min walk away.

Okay as a basic budget stay. Our room smelled funny. Thought it was wet carpet until we found the butt of a joint beside the bed. Not very clean.
