We left feeling very satisfied. What a great value. The breakfast was immense and flavorful. The views were universally gorgeous. The staff were always cheery and attentive. John who was working his first day in the executive lounge was great to chat with. Overall, I would highly recommend.

I stayed for a conference, in a premier suites room. The room looked nice, with art prints on the wall, a large TV, and a single person lounge. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower took a minute to warm up properly, and the room was small. Sufficient for sleeping but not for spending any more time than necessary. My biggest gripe is that the only window covering was a sheer curtain, the type that lets 90% light through. Even before morning it was a problem as the city lights lit up the room and made it hard to sleep. Roadworks from 7am proved that that the windows aren't soundproof, and the air-conditioning created a constant white noise louder than most. The person before me had set the temperature at 19*C, but the room never felt colder than 22*C, even overnight. The minibar was empty with a note that you can order snacks and drinks via room service. In the evening I saw quite a few people entering the lifts with snacks they'd bought from the Woolworths at the end of the street. The rain shower was large enough for one person at a time. Even with the shower door closed, water leaked out through the bathroom and into the entrance hall, unless I put down a towel (which then ended up soaked).

I was quite satisfied with this hotel and it's service. Obviously you can expect the Hilton to be quite expensive as compared to other hotels especially this one since it is in downtown. The food was fantastic, room service was great, The fact that there's a TV in the shower sort of made my mornings 😆 The only thing that I wish was a little bit better was the overall size of the rooms I feel like that for what I am paying I should have a little bit more space. It wasn't that big of a problem but again just considering the price.

Amazing stay. Amenities are top notch, as is the location, but what makes amazing was the great customer service. I forgot an item in my room when I checked out and flew back home, and when I called the hotel, they were able to find my item and mail it to me no questions asked (and also no charges!). I was very impressed and will definitely be staying at the Hilton in Sydney again!

Just want to thank Hilton hotel for their continued support over the past 7 years. Whether it's a business meeting or catching up with potential clients staff have always helped by being extra friendly and serving high quality brunch. Love the Mocha and chocolate eclairs ❤️ My clients and I have always felt like home when we enter Hiltons and the hotel rooms are very comfortable.

What was there not to like? We were greeted by engaging and educated staff who explained anything you needed to know. The room was beautiful as was the view. I really loved the motorized blackout shades on the windows too! We had our breakfast included and everything was top notch/ delicious. The location here is really convenient but be aware both the hotel and the general area is very busy. I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed in the King Corner Room. The room was well appointed and clean but for the price we paid I felt the room was a bit small. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was a bit dated and I would have preferred a bigger vanity and no bath (not many people take a bath when staying in a hotel). We paid for a buffet breakfast and at $54 per person they should just include the barista made coffee instead of charging $5 per cup. The included coffee is filter coffee which is not very nice (the instant coffee in my room tasted much nicer). Over all the location and the service is great and I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and location is close to everything. As a diamond member we were upgraded to a very spacious room. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Buffet breakfast had an excellent selection and well worth it. Will definitely stay again.

The customer service I received at my last couple of visits here was second to none! The hotel staff was welcoming, courteous, professional and friendly. My room was comfortable and clean and I enjoyed my stay so much the first time I decided to come back again at the end of my trip. Thank you to everyone who helped me out, I can't thank you enough and I hope to be back to see you again next time I am in Sydney!

I wanted to share my experience with my HILTON Fitness First membership. I joined primarily for swimming and the steam service. However, I've been facing some challenges with the steam room facilities. One of the steam rooms has been out of order for almost a year now, and the other one requires manual restart every 1-2 hours. This has been quite inconvenient as I often have to remind the staff to turn on the steam. I've spoken to the front desk staff about this issue, but it seems even they are unsure about the situation. There have been instances where they claimed to have fixed the steam, only for me to discover that it's still not functioning when I enter. This situation is frustrating because it has led to me having to cancel several sessions due to the non-functional steam rooms. Additionally, on a specific day at 1 pm, I realized that there was no shampoo or body wash available in any of the shower rooms. I personally checked all of them, and it was disappointing to find them empty. I've noticed that the payments from my account are always processed without any issue, but the maintenance of facilities and timely fixing of issues have been lacking. It's disappointing that such seemingly simple problems are taking so long to be resolved. I believe it would greatly improve the overall experience if there was a consistent roster to ensure that the steam rooms are always operational and that necessary amenities like shampoo and body wash are consistently stocked. I hope that the HILTON management can address these concerns promptly, as they are impacting my ability to fully enjoy the benefits of my membership. I know that this is fitness first's problem but Hilton should communicate with them to fix the issues.

Spent a night at Hilton Sydney. The room was pretty comfortable but a little bit small. Unfortunately there was no cable TV and I had to rely on local channels, which kept on getting disrupted every once in a while. The location was excellent, with plenty of food and shopping options. It is fairly well connected by public transport as well. Overall it was a good stay but given the stature of Hilton, I had slightly more expectations.

Located in the most convenient of spots, I stayed on-site as had a conference in the same building. Handy for breaking out to different cafes, bars etc close by, as well as to shopping and key attractions. Comfortable rooms with all the essentials provided.

I had an awesome and memorable experience staying at Hilton Sydney during my business travel last month. The hotel is centrally located and close to everything you need. The room was well equipped, comfortable, and had great views; service was exceptional. The best part was my daily breakfast at The Glass Brasserie. The buffet offerings there are one of the best I've come across, and the staff super friendly and courteous; Meylia and Vincent, especially, were amazing hosts!

Stayed in Ambassador Suite, great suite. Staff were pretty nice and did everything I needed. Executive lounge was great as always but hot food choices not as good as others I've been to. Day time food also lacking and opening only 2 hours in evening was disappointing. Over all a great stay and looking forward to returning.

Great stay for one night for business. I stayed in a king deluxe on floor 42. Love the location and everything was easy and confortable. Comfortable bed and nice shower. There was even a bath. The iron worked really well and there was a nice selection of tea too. Loved it.

A great experience throughout our brief stay. We stayed in one of the smaller suites. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable. I have slept in many hotel rooms over the years in multiple countries; the bed at the Hilton was the most comfortable I have ever slept in bar my own. The staff are all very lovely and eager to assist. I have a serious back injury and at times have to use a wheelchair when I am in too much pain to walk. The doorman was always very helpful when I was getting on or out of Ubers; I looked for him on my last day to say thank you and tip him but he wasn't around. The access to the Executive Lounge is a nice added extra; the breakfast is good and there's enough choice so as not to get bored. We never used the lunchtime snacks or afternoon tea as we were out but the drinks and canapes in the early evening are a good touch as eating late in the city is the usual practice. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone and we will most certainly return. I thought the suite was very well priced.

My husband and I just spent 7 wonderful nights at The Hilton Sydney. We had a fantastic time. We stayed four nights last year & returned to enjoy their very special venue. Our room was upgraded with a panoramic view of the city & especially of the heritage Queen Victoria Building. We were greeted with a welcome card, a bowl of fruit & a bottle of wine. The rooms were immaculate & the service was the best. Special mention of the delicious breakfasts, especially the made to order omlettes, in the lovely restaurant. Wait staff couldn't do enough for you. We asked for assistance from the concierge & they were very knowledgeable & helpful. Do yourself a favor and stay at this superb hotel.

Great location. The hotel partners with a local gym so guests get access to a full gym, a large pool and hot tube with a sauna. Easy access to many walking locations. I had a queen size bed which was a mattress on two full stands so if you sleep in the middle you might feel the crack.

Beautiful room with a lovely city/harbor view! Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Loved the bathtub. Service was very underwhelming. Room service often took 1-2 hours and order was frequently not accurate. Room service menu was not consistent across all platforms which caused frustration/confusion when ordering. Hilton lounge had nice complimentary breakfast. Great Location in the heart of Sydney and near shopping, restaurants & train. Overall rooms/hotel were nice but service could use improvement.

Stayed at the Hilton for a night on business; comfortable room and wonderful! Location is fabulous, central Sydney being accessible from pretty much the whole CBD. Everything for the foyer to the initial service was very classy! There was even a Lamborghini in the driveway! Room it’s was modern, comfortable and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, heaps of pillows, a desk for work and comfortable chairs for relaxing. Shower and bathroom was all modern and functional as well. Staff at checking were prompt and helpful as well. Managed to pick up an amenity kit as well as I had forgotten to bring mine. Only slight negative was I was on a room which backed onto the lift shaft and it was a little a noisy in the morning. Overall a great hotel experience and I would happily stay there again!

I am a diamond member. I have had a lot of problems with Hilton recently. This was the first genuinely awesome experience I have had with Hilton in recent memory. I think it was Ivana(I will have to check and make sure I have the name right) at the front desk that made the difference. She was helpful, courteous, efficient and the level of experience you would expect for a 5 star hotel. Her wonderful customer service is what would make me use Hilton again for my next stay.

Junior King Suite was great and spacious! Service was a bit slow, had to follow up multiple times on something as simple as an ice bucket. location is perfect so close to everything.

You really can’t beat the location of this hotel, located directly across from the QVB and near tram stops. The rooms are clean but dated, service is spotty (hard to get a hold of someone on the phone when calling their “magic service” number), and the food is average. Executive lounge is located on Floor 36 and is understaffed but spacious. Great selection of food for breakfast.

Right inside the shopping area. Very convenient and quiet enough to have a good rest. Some rooms get pretty good views. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms are of good size. Air-conditioning works very well.

We stayed at this Hilton two separate times on our trip in Australia. During both stays we had exceptional service from every associate that we encountered from valet to reception, as well as the hosts and servers at the restaurant and marble bar. On our first stay, Christina, our front desk associate was able to check us in efficiently and was incredibly kind. She discussed various destinations to see in Sydney and provided great customer service. On our second stay later on in our trip, our front desk associate was Geo. Geo was awesome as well! He provided us with all of the important details like when breakfast is served, and the hours of the lounge and bar. Both of the rooms were beautiful with fantastic views of the city. We had a great time, and look forward to coming back on another trip!

Amazing location- everything is outside your door. Cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in a long time. Each staff member service oriented to ensure great experience. Exec Lounge spacious with generous offering. City Suite was fantastic amount of space to add a bit of luxury to our amazing stay.

Great hotel in the heart of Sydney, close to shops, theatres and great eateries. Nice staff and beautifully appointed rooms. Stayed in the executive King suite on the 43rd floor. Very quiet at night and dark with electric block out blinds. No street noise at all.

Stayed here for a special occasion. From the moment we checked in staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had an exceptional view on the top floor. Took a nap in the afternoon and woke up to seeing the beautiful sunset through the window, what a bonus. Staff were super courteous, they had some welcome pack in the room which had some chocolate and wine in it. We had to try their buffet breakfast and it was amazing. Located right in the heart of the city. Easy access to public transportation and close by many attractions. The suit was lovely and service was exceptional. We had a good time and would love to go back. Would highly recommend.

I stayed here for a conference, the room was nice and the hotel is in a great location. However I think the room service could improve. We asked for extra blankets and had to call back 2 times to check on it, it took them over an hour to bring 2 blankets to our room. We also ate lunch once at the cafe in the foyer and they were out of several items on the menu and the serving size was so small. I feel like the care is missing from this hotel.

Top notch luxury hotel whose location in the heart of the city cannot be beat!!! Public transportation was right in front of the hotel via trolley, taxi or bus. All main city attractions were for the most part only walking distance away....so convenient!!! Their staff to include Jason and Miguel at the Concierge's Desk and Ana at the Front Desk was FANTASTIC and EXTREMELY ACCOMODATING!!! As a Diamond member we were upgraded to a King Corner Room and the view was spectacular!!! The Executive Lounge Staff was also extremely accommodating and very customer focused!!! Would rebook at this hotel in a heart beat for our next visit to Sydney!!

  • 1/5 Ray 6 months ago on Google
The valet service is absolutely terrible! I mean, seriously, I handed over the key to the valet and clearly mentioned that the car engine was still running. Can you believe it? After waiting for a whopping 30 minutes, I come back only to find my car still parked with the engine on. I calmly approach the valet and politely remind him about the running car, and guess what? He starts getting all rude and snappy with me, going on about how I should have turned off the car before giving him the key. Can you believe the nerve? And to top it all off, they have the audacity to charge me a whopping $89 for this valet service! I mean, seriously, this is beyond unprofessional. It's absolutely mind-boggling!

Very convenient location within walking distance to Sydney landmarks. Great customer service, friendly and accommodating personnel. My upgrade room was not ready due to early arrival but the standard room was very spacious for the city location, no complaints. Clean, quiet with all amenities in order. The executive lounge is well stuffed for breakfast, through the day, and happy hour.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The service from staff was second to none and the location was excellent. Quality of the room service food was pretty bad considering the price. The hotel has had a renovation recently, but still shows its age in the rooms. They also seem to be missing some of the finer touches you expect from a high end hotel. Eg. Limited bathroom amenities, only free to air TV channels etc. Getting access to the gym or pool was overly complicated.

  • 4/5 Michelle W. 2 years ago on Google
We have stayed here a few times. We tend to book the spa bath room. The room is very large - not cramped at all. Staff are friendly and good atmosphere. I wouldn’t dine at the restaurant, however the hotel is lovely.

We visited the glass brasserie as part of a work lunch. Firstly let me say it felt really good to see people able to dine in again. It was reasonably busy. The food was delicious and lived up to Luke Mangan's reputation. The service was also pleasant and overall we had an enjoyable experience. Prices are what you would expect from a venue like Hilton. Definitely worth the visit.

Spent 5 nights at Hilton Sydney. Excellent location, everything is easily accessible. Hotel staff is very friendly and approachable. From Breakfast at Glass to the Executive lounge and the high tea and Marble bar everything is amazing and luxurious. Only thing is the indoor pool is not heated and the water was extremely cold. 1 star less for the pool otherwise overall brilliant.

Loved being in the central business district. EVERYTHING was walking distance away, generally. For anything further, you are a block from train, across the street from trams, and a half block from buses. It is a pretty great location. The room was great. Wish I had splurged on a bigger room since I was there for 13 days, just felt a bit boxed in on days I stayed home. Room service takes 45 minutes to 1 hr, not that big a deal. Only they say 30 min on their ordering app.

  • 5/5 C W. 10 months ago on Google
I checked in late, and they were very accommodating. The lobby was a bit busy at 5pm however their staff are very friendly and ready to assist. The location was phenomenal, in the middle of everything, and tram stops by the entrance. I was able to get the executive king with a city view, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable! I would highly recommend it.

The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. From the Restaurant team, front desk, concierge and housekeeping it is so refreshing to be acknowledged with a smile and nod even when you are walking along a corridor. Our room was great and serviced daily to a very high standard. A fantastic location with the tram out the front makes getting around the city so easy. We look forward to returning to the Sydney Hilton.

Recently stayed a week at one of Sydney’s iconic hotels, the Hilton Sydney on George Street. Great central location. This hotel gets all the basics right. Large, well-appointed rooms, quality bed and linen, very clean room, large TV and all the amenities you want in a five-star hotel. Great bars, cafe and restaurant. Buzzing café just off the lobby and the grand architecture of the Glass Brasserie. Cuisine is as good or better than many of the best Sydney restaurants. Staff friendly and very helpful across the hotel.

Everyone works hard and goes out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful experience. Everything about the hotel is absolutely amazing. I had a really tough work trip with an ever changing schedule and the staff worked incredibly hard to accommodate. The executive lounge is amazing as well. If you are a bit sore from traveling you can even get a deep tissue massage in the building. The breakfast buffet is out of this world and has many options to get you going for your day. Be sure to have a dinner in the glass brasserie as well! It was also located in the heart of Sydney with access to everything. I had such a great work trip and look forward to coming back on holiday in the future to share this wonderful hotel with the whole family!

Overall this hotel is a good combination of price, location, and room. It's centrally located downtown, not too far from any of the major places. It's a little bit of a trek from the airport, about 20-40 minutes total ($20-40 depending on if you take the train or taxi). I was particularly impressed by the fact that the gym is an actual paid-membership gym, which the hotel shares access to. Breakfast isn't bad; it's great if it comes with the room, but probably a bit overpriced if you're paying separately. The view from a standard room isn't amazing, but overall I would love to stay here again.

Birthday trip 3 nights Executive suite- was incredibly enjoyable- service was great, room was lovely. Gym Sauna was absolutely hot enough- extremely good - it would be better if the operating time to use the pool and sauna on the weekends was earlier than 9 am, That was disappointing. Still was an Incredible 3 days of relaxing.

The staff were welcoming and friendly when we checked in. We had a lovely room on the 25th floor. The only downside to it was that the top drawer of the bench (where you put your suitcase) kept opening by itself. It wasn't a bit deal, just a minor annoyance. Lots of power points around the bed was very useful.

Just due to travel scheduling this is weirdly the hotel I've stayed in for the longest - great location, decent breakfasts, and a nice couple of bars. 10 days here actually didn't feel like too much. Also, high floor views are amazing.

This is my first time reviewing a hotel. And I am pleased to give this a 5 star and beyond rating. It has been 3 years since I last stayed, and the stay was very refreshing and pleasant. Service staff as usual was on point. I made a few calls regarding my parcel deliveries, and concierge team were super friendly and helpful. I would like especially like to commend on the housekeeping team. By accident, I left something important behind when I checked out only to realise about 12 hours later. I immediately contacted the hotel staff via google chat and they responded within minutes. They told me that housekeeping had picked it up and left my stuff with the lost department. I am super grateful for their honesty, efficiency and hospitality. I would recommend anyone who is travelling to Sydney whether for work or holiday to have their accommodation being taken care of by Hilton Sydney.

This was an absolute wonderful hotel! The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious.the views were spectacular from the room. It’s right in the middle of everything so it’s easy to walk anywhere. Breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel because there were so many options. The host at breakfast was so friendly. He always asked us what our plan was for the day and how our plans went from the day before. The Marble Bar was a great touch too.
