One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are fantastic, quiet, everything is new, clean and with a modern design. WiFi is free, fast, with strong signal everywhere. Breakfast, although not free, is definitely worth the money, with a diverse selection, and a chef on the spot where you can order things like omelet, burgers and waffles. At the heart of Sydney, everything is within walking distance. Room price was absolutely reasonable for a 4-star hotel. It was really hard for me to find anything that I didn't like about this hotel. If I come back to Sydney, I would definitely stay here again!

My first time staying here , bit of walk from the train station but totally worth it. Hotel is new , nice and fresh. Could have been 5* review if not ruined by the fact that apparently bed in my room was already used by someone else. There were hair in there and it was all messed up. Issue was resolved, but it’s not what you expect when you arrive late and want to get some rest. I really expect some better service from Marriott

Located very near to UTS and a very nice mall. The hotel doesn't have a drop off lobby. The hotel and room is very nice and new. Was upgraded to a suite using my suite night as a titanium member. However, my room wasn't cleaned and had to request for new towels. Other than that the hotel is nearly perfect for a short stay. Hotel distance is about 10-15 minutes drive to the tourist spots but the price is a value stay.

Stayed twice - this place seems to lack any sort of joy. They are short of almost everything (only one robe for two people, limited toiletries, no water, no glasses/cups in the room, etc etc), asked for a room with a view (paid for high floor) and got a room at the back 5 meters from another building (do you enjoy teasing customers?). Only good thing is it's in an area I like (though not close to major attractions, if that's your interest). I just wish they'd provide better service (not customer-centric at all!) and be less stingy on the aforementioned items. Not even a hotel half the price is so bad in these aspects. If you base your expectations on a very budget motel (in a high-rise form) you won't be as disappointed as I have been.

1 thing that I’d like to highlight the most: great hospitality! All the front desk people are just amazing. I asked many questions and they were so patient helping me, even the manager took action when she saw the line was quite long. Room is also spacious, hotel is still new (i suppose, quite modern. good location. worth the money!

If I could give this hotel 0/5 stars I would. Checked in to our room which was not the room I had booked online. Hotel admitted it was their fault and that they would “upgrade” us. Disgusted to enter our said upgraded room and there was dirty washing on the chair, room smelt rotten and the only “sorry” we received was a complimentary breakfast and a free drink. Additionally, clearly the COVID-19 protocols are WHS standards and overlooked at this property. I waited almost an hour for the hotel to find me a sufficient alternative so we could actually get ready for our event. I booked a KING SUITE as there was 3 of us staying, it was open plan and suited the occasion. When asked if the sofa bed would be made up before our return from our event to accomodate the 3 of us, I was met with “sorry our housekeepers are really busy, would it be ok if we just left the linen there and you did it?”……you’re kidding right? Can’t be too busy if they are unable to service a room correctly to begin with. If you like a sad breakfast with minimal variety, substandard options and stagnant customer service, then by all means you will be in for an absolute treat. Staff member on breakfast concierge was also on her phone between seating people which was completely unprofessional. I was very specific when booking that this was for my sister’s birthday and to be met with sour customer service and a dirty room amongst other disappointment, I would absolutely NOT recommend! As per the current Marriott promotion and marketing, “delight in the unexpected”….NO DELIGHT here at all.

Room is clean, spacious and with a simple yet modren design. Free, stable wifi provided. Strong air conditioning. Well equipped with smart TV, refrigerator, kettle, bottled waters etc. Pillows are thick; sufficient wall-mounted charging ports. Located centered to a variety of restaurants and cafes. A supermarket is also nearby within a few minutes walk.

Food is unbelievably gross here. This is the vegetarian dinner from the hotel. Nothing else is included in the box. It literally just has a piece of sweet potato and two slices of pepper. That’s it!

Dirty Rooms: Bed linens aren’t clean, dust mites and mosquitoes everywhere in the room. Bedbugs makes you scared to sleep properly; curtains, sofas and mattress all are infested. Complaint about uncleanliness in the room but no action taken by them to provide assistance. Not recommend at all.

Quarantine food served in May 2021. Quality was good in general. A few meals were cold or just gross but overall the standard is good. Coffee provided is international roast - pretty bad. Plenty of water and milk supplied. Room size was decent, view was really poor.

The location is great. Close to Central, the Spice Alley and just a short walk or a bus/train/light rail ride to the heart of the city. At check in we were told all rooms get serviced twice a day. I thought it was too much but oh well. The next day the room still hasn't been serviced even once by 4pm. Our bedsheets had big yellow stains. We had to call twice to ask for them to be changed. When the room service finally showed up they basically asked what we wanted done, quickly did that and disappeared. There is no full room service at this hotel, so it makes no sense why they tell you rooms are serviced twice per day.

Excellent value for the central location. The front desk staff were exemplary in their service - very helpful with tips on where is the best food in the area! There was a hiccup with my original room and I have to commend the crew with an excellent service recovery. For light sleepers, ask for a room away from Broadway - there is quite a bit of traffic noise all night.

Hotel was nice, polite staff, and enjoyed the proximity to the large variety of restaurants. However, while I was charged, I didn't receive a bill, which is a problem when filing a business expense report. I tried calling the front desk multiple times but was left on hold 30 minutes and automatically redirected to a general Marriott help desk, who apparently cannot provide the receipt directly. Very frustrating.

Generally a nice hotel in a great location but 1. The duvet was unclean with yello stains 2. The staff at the reception were incredibly slow. For checking in I had to wait in the queue for a while while the reception was chitchatting and taking their time… for such an expensive hotel you expect the staff to be faster/smarter 3. There was a billing issue they charged me more than the invoice I had received from booking.com. Although it was a small amount it was strange that they were not willing to correct it.

I want to like this hotel because of the good location, and I'm thankful to especially Noah the receptionist for being friendly and hospitable, but my family won't let me give more than 2 stars. When we arrived, the bath gel is empty so we had to ask. No toothbrush, no toothpaste given so we had to beg :") I got 4 people in a room but we're only given 2 bottle of water, and they said we're only limited with 2 additional bottle of water each day (For comparison, Four Points Melbourne even gave us 8 bottle a day for 4 people.) We paid A$850~900 a day, with A$100 breakfast per day for 4 people. The food variety is quite boring. Breads, fruits, salad, cheese, cereals, beans, congee, bacon and eggs, 90% is always the same everyday. (we spent 4 nights). The receptionists were actually effective, they were fast, but they didn't always answer your question in friendly way. Some did, but some were even grumpy like they had to get out of there as fast as possible. 😟

Very affordable and right across the street from the University of Technology Sydney. They offer a breakfast buffet and dinner options. There's a bar/coffee area, but it's not open every day. It was very quiet with lots of eateries around it, including an entertainment center, grocery store, movie theater, Starbucks, and shopping stores. We had a corner room on a high floor.

Stayed in Jul/Aug. for 7 nights. The hotel was great. The rooms were clean and seemed like they were renovated. Staff was great. Location was a bit of a walk to the harbor (you will likely take uber or transit). Only issue I had was being over charged for 1 night. Once I saw it on my card, I contacted Marriott and they had it resolved in about a week. Just make sure you keep your reservation confirmation emails!

Strongly upset about the attitude of the female check-in staff. After receiving my room card and going up to my assigned room, I discovered that the card was not working. Consequently, I returned to the lobby counter seeking for assistance. As I preferred a room closer to the elevator, I inquired about the possibility of changing to an available room in a more convenient location. However, the staff member promptly informed me, without any checking, that the hotel was fully occupied and no room changes were possible. Given Sheraton's reputable service standards, I was surprised by the lack of proactive assistance in this situation. PS. the Asian check in staff was very nice, always smiling

A very fine hotel with a great location. Easy walk from Central, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as some shopping. The room was clean and tidy, and a good size. My only complaint is that the shower didn't drain properly so I ended up with water all over the floor. It didn't ruin my stay though. Would definitely stay here again.

Super nice staff. All things from room to breakfast and hotel itself were great but I can't give a non 5 star hotel -> 5 stars. This was a repeat visit for me and I would have NO problem coming back here. I think that's the true sign of a hotel is would a person come back. All around good hotel

Received a complimentary upgrade which was very nice. The room was brilliant, has all the amenities you would expect from a new hotel. Bathroom was massive. Only downside was I couldn’t get the room warm with the heater set to max.

Nothing great about. Just a standard hotel with standard rooms. No views, and the suite we booked is not so great. Stained sofa bed, and no linen for the sofa bed mattress. Better alternatives available.

Very nice hotel. Clean. Beds are super comfortable. The Air Conditioning did not seem to work too well. Took some time to cool the room down. Lots of restaurants around. The gym is not great but you can get a decent workout with some improvisation.

Front desk clerks were wonderful and had our room ready early. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options. Our corner suite was spacious but we were dismayed there was no hand soap in our bathroom by sinks and the shower gel was empty after a few pumps. I asked at Front desk and they said they were out of soap. We also noticed all hand sanitizing stations were empty other than on our 12th floor by elevator. In these times of covid, this was disconcerting.

New Hotel. Clean rooms. Good to see buffet breakfast is back. Hopefully they don't put the prices up. Location is okay too although not as close to Town hall. But also good restaurants in the area although I haven't tried the Spice Central. Would definitely be back again.

Great location! We walked to Darling Harbour easily. All the sites and restaurants, easily accessible. The concierge booked so many great tours for us! There was an aquarium at Darling Harbour that is a must to visit! We went to Blue Mountain! Great staff, great services!

Nice hotel with easy access to the city and the universities plus a great view towards Glebe. Comfortable bed andc good shower. Only spoiled when I went to make a coffee from the machine, the milk was not only off, it has gone solid.

I have stayed at 3 hotels this whilst visiting Sydney for work and by far, Four Points Sheraton Central Park has been the best! I will definitely be returning. The rooms are modern, clean, spacious and super comfortable. And the staff have been wonderful - call out to Hugo for his fantastic service. It is so refreshing to be greeted by someone who is friendly and is great at their job.

Excellent hotel conveniently located within walking distance (< 1 mile) of the Haymarket train station. Also proximate to Starbucks, Woolworth (grocery), and shopping. Hotel is clean, well-maintained. Room was a comfortable size, quiet, and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. Great buffet breakfast. Fast, reliable complimentary wi-fi. Recommended.

Great Marriott business hotel near UTS and Chinatown. It’s only a short journey to downtown. The property is very new and the bed is very very comfortable. My go-to hotel whenever I travel to Sydney for work. Many restaurants especially Asian food around the property.

We stayed here again as we had enjoyed our stay 12 months ago so much. The previous time we could not find any faults and the staff were so helpful. I’m unsure what has changed which is sad as I had recommended it to many family from out of town. The staff were disinterested and provided no information about the hotel or the location without me asking basic questions such where is breakfast. The most disappointing part for me was it was a mum and daughter get away which my daughter of 12 requested this place based on how much she had enjoyed her stay previously. We are so let down by the experience. The staff were unhelpful, too busy to help make it enjoyable. The room lacked basics like wine glasses and spoons. It wasn’t special as we had hoped. I hope someone in the org takes time to read these reviews as it’s a place that could be so much more as it had been previously.

We stayed here for Sydney World Pride and were so impressed with our stay. The rooms are spacious and modern and the location in the CBD is perfect. The staff we encountered went above and beyond their duty and honestly, the best service we've received from a hotel in a long time! The only downfall was that the toiletries in this hotel are really subpar to everything else. I'd suggest reviewing the toiletries because it felt like something you'd get in a hospital - not in a hotel of this standard. Other than that - fantastic stay!

Great 4 star hotel close to the central area of Sydney. Lots of Asian restaurants, movie theatre, Broadway shops and cafes nearby. Tram stop to city and key a short walk. Nice sized rooms and very comfy bed. No balconies. Car park very handy and buffet breakfast all good. Helpful staff.

Great location. Friendly staff. House keeping was very bad. Came back to the room with bed sheets changed half way and it was considered completed. Towels were still on the floor. Floor not vacuumed . After three nights, the shower gel in the bathroom was not refilled despite taking out the entire dispenser and reminding the front desk and even the housekeeping staff! This needs to improve.

The hotel itself is relatively new, rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were friendly & helpful. The only drawback is this hotel is being used for guests quarantining & they seem to be scattered among other guests on different floors, despite the hotel being no where near capacity! We had to walk past a room adjacent to the lifts on our floor with a constant litter of Uber eats bags, garbage bags with used towels, food trays & other rubbish left outside their door. It alarmed me the person or persons quarantining were opening their door to collect/ remove food etc while we had to walk past to get to the lift. I couldn’t understand why they weren’t placed in a room at the end of the corridor, so as to isolate them from other guests. The rooms on our floor appeared to be entirely empty apart from us & them! Coming from Melbourne we were anxious & cautious travelling interstate for the first time in many months. We know only too well the catastrophe that hotel quarantine caused in our state last year through poor management. Sadly, this added to the stress of our stay. We raised this issue with the front desk & were presented with an apology but no offer to be moved to a different room. Unlikely to stay here in the future :(

The rooms were nice, but the service was well below average. Staff have charged me twice for the room, saying the first payment which included an additional security deposit, would be refunded immediately at the end of the stay and was just a hold, but days later I still haven’t received it back. Have since called up and was now told the refund will be processed 5 business days post check out, which would have been nice to know earlier, and I find this process very inconvenient. They’re very hard to get in contact with via phone or email, clearly need different processes or more staff. Have had 2 staff members try to tell me the first of the 2 charges they’ve taken from me isn’t a “real” charge and is just to secure the room, but when a large sum of money is not available in my account (because they have taken it) that is obviously what a normal person would consider a real charge. When staying in the room you have to call reception 3-4 times before they answer the phone for room service, and despite saying room/guest services are available until 9:30pm, you won’t get anyone answering after 8:45pm. The room service meals are very basic and very expensive for what they are ($28 for a simple spaghetti).

This is a wonderful Marriott property that's only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, with lots of local food nearby. If you're staying for a while, there's a movie theater a block away and small grocery store as well with excellent prices! It is farther away from the airport than expected, it will cost about $40-$50 USD to get here from there. Otherwise, no complaints about the location and amazing staff so far!

We really enjoyed our stay at Four Points by Sheraton. Everything was fantastic from the moments we checked in where Pujan and Manan showed their warm hospitality and were awesome. Buffet breakfast was just brilliant where Julia and chefs were outstanding with their service. Christina and Hayden were fabulous with our check out and thank you for checking on us every single day and find out how our stay was going. Great location with fantastic customer service. We ll be back again.

great location, easy walk from Central Station. Hotel rooms themselves are decent sized, bright and comfortable with new amenities. Similar to most hotels these days, the TV is almost unusable being some cheap, super slow "smart TV" that would freeze up and that the staff themselves didn't seem to know how to use or fix. Front desk staff were almost completely useless. Contacted reception multiple times throughout our weekend stay for pretty standard requests and they just couldn't seem to get even the most basic service right. Called reception and requested towels. After waiting 2 hours went down to desk and asked again, then waited o about 15 minutes until they could find some. Called reception and asked i they could ring u wen or UberEats arrived. went down to desk over an hour later to find our food sitting at reception 9with about half a dozen other orders) sitting there already cold. With the hotel this nice, the service was such a complete let down I probably wouldn't stay again.

We stayed at this hotel with our 2 year old while waiting to move into our new apartment. Our stay was excellent! We were happy with the room size and the amenities it offered. The staff were very nice especially the people working during the week at breakfast time. That was the highlight of our stay at this place - breakfast! Really yummy items on the menu and our toddler was of course really happy with her pancakes and babyccino! I recommend including breakfast when booking as you will not be disappointed. There was buffet breakfast during the weekend however we preferred off the menu breakfast during the week. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful hotel, but I did my 14 days mandatory quaranteen at this hotel.& the food was disgusting. I had allergic reactions to the shower jell & shampoo/conditiner.they gave us food that was uneatable.

Stayed at the 4 points for my 2 week quarantine coming back from Europe. It was an absolute challenge not to have any fresh air and food ( which was not provided by hotel itself but contractor I belief) was below par. However I can not praise the staff and manager at reception highly enough. They were amazing in trying to make my stay somewhat more humane. Bath bombs, colour in sheets, uplifting phone conversations. They even tried to help me change my room as I did have a very limited view and no sun coming in. The room was very clean and the bath a fantastic extra. Bed incredible comfortable so in a "normal "situation I would highly recommend the hotel as it is also right in the city so easy to access tourist sites.

This was by far the best customer service I had experienced compared to all the other hotels I have stayed in. The staff were absolutely amazing. The rooms were really nice. The location was great too.

Fantastic hotel which made two weeks of quarantine a real pleasure. Room was spacious and light with good quality furnishings, and the staff were amazing - deliveries were sent up quickly, was easy to get a barista coffee within 5 minutes (for $3.50 which is a steal in the centre of Sydney). They were happy to do all kinds of other things like printing documents or sending up champagne flutes. Quite a few people have left reviews saying the food was bad - it’s provided by the NSW government, the same to all quarantine hotels (this is made very clear to quarantine guests). Very strange and unfair thing to comment on.
