Terrible experience. Paid $550 for one night before flying back to Perth at the end of last month. We arrived around 9pm after flight delays and we exhausted. Go up to our room to find that the floor we are on is the same floor a club was on and drunk people coming in an out and was very noisy. Walk to our room to find the door open. Go in and try to shut and find that the door wont close as the door was placed on at an angle. Called reception to complain and they said they would send an "Engineer" out with no offer of a new room. I asked what time as it was late and they said "as soon as they can" After waiting 30 mins I went down to the desk and asked for new room as the service was not good enough and our level was very noisy. They then offered us a "quiet room" which was better however the noise proofing in the rooms is poor as I heard noise from the streets the whole night. The bathroom wasn't even fully clean there were marks on the tiles from not being wiped down. The only compliment I can give is the baggage team were helpful and friendly. The rooms weren't very modern or nice considering the price paid. Steer clear of this hotel!

Great staff at reception, shout out to Gauan and his lovely energy! Great location, easy to get to the city. We paid for a room upgrade for a view of Darling Harbour which gave us full view of the fireworks. Room was clean and tidy, a little small for the upgraded price but still decent. Gym facilities were actually okay for a hotel gym. I would definitely stay here again :)

The staff is wonderful! They are super attentive and friendly. We arrived via taxi after a 16 hour flight. While we were still talking to the taxi driver, they got our luggage out and into the lobby. Our room was ready at 10 am although check in is at 3 pm. We were really grateful that we could check in early as we were exhausted from our long flight. They made sure to bring our luggage to our room and called in about 20 minutes later to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. The room was big and spacious. We had a balcony overlooking Darling Harbor. Everything was clean and we felt welcome and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They did an awesome job! The location of the hotel is great. You can easily walk into Darling Harbor and to the many restaurants that are located there. All in all, top hotel!

Stayed for the weekend in a king bed room with a Harbour view. The room description said there would be a balcony/terrace but our room did not have one. The lack of access to fresh air was definitely felt. The service was fantastic and warm throughout our stay here, the staff in the Sailmaker restaurant were especially lovely and attentive. The room itself was rather small, and did not live up to my standard for what a 5 star hotel should be, especially not for the price. Not sure if that's how it is these days, but there was no turn down service, no chocolate/flower on the pillow, no fruit or anything in the rooms. The hotel didn't even have a pool, which I thought was a requirement for a 5 star establishment. The room was neat and tidy and housekeeping did a great job. There were toiletries and tea/coffee making equipment but no frills at all. Frills are what I expect from a highly rated hotel. Overall we were happy with our stay. The location is of course, fantastic and the view was worth it.

I have stayed here many times and this time I splurged on a Harbour View Tower room. I had a really amazing stay. Staff members were lovely and accommodating, the view was epic, location is just a 7 minute stroll from Town Hall - easy with bags. My room was very quiet. Previously, when I have stayed in cheaper rooms, noise was a problem, but not this time. I ate at the restaurant which offered a 3 course seafood meal. It was OK. Not amazing, but just fine. Staff were attentive and kind. I even was offered a late checkout. This was handy as check in for the Hyatt is late by Sydney standards (3pm vs the normal 2pm). Had to laugh at the $4 water - which was โ€œfree under certain conditionsโ€. Seemed a bit stingy to me. However, when I asked for ice or a blanket, these were quickly and happily delivered to my room. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency a few weeks ago. Booked the Harbour View Studio Suite and requested a 'QUIET' room. Upon check in we were advised by the receptionist that in fact we have been given a quiet room. After our outing we arrived back at 11.15pm to club noise being clearly heard in our room by one of the local nightclubs near by. We called the front desk and requested to be moved to a quieter room to be told by Ben the night manager that the music will stop at 12.30am in a rude manner and abruptly ended the call. We waited till 12.45am in which we could still clear as day hear all the songs and MC from this nightclub. After a second call with Ben which was long and unpleasant, we were left with a 50% refund on the room and left to drive 1.5hrs home at 2am in the morning. Ben did mention this was a 'known' issue during our conversation which is ultimately false advertisement when allocating us a 'quiet' room. He bullied and threatened to have security escort us out then corrected himself to say the security can help us with our luggage. The entire situation was dealt with in the utmost unprofessional manner and we would NEVER ever stay at any Hyatt again due to the way we were treated. We contacted the Hyatt Regency the next day and spoke with Selena who I must say was more pleasant to deal with. We ended up with a 50% refund on the room (which it honestly should have been 100% refund with the disgusting treatment we received) and 100% refund on the in room massages we booked. Everything was sent in writing but we still had issues with getting the refund as Ben advised it would take 5-10 business days which the finance team hadn't processed it by the 8th business day. It was not cheap to book and stay here and their service does NOT match the amount they are charging. Disgusting.

Personally? I think this hotel is okay for the price you get. I will be positive first because positivity is best, right? I liked how the hotel looked, including the bar, upstairs lounge and the way the building looked like. I liked my hotel room for what it is, it was a two bed small hotel room with a bathroom and a stunning view of the city. I appreciate the staff members for being friendly and kind. The negatives? I would only say that the hotel rooms are thin, because you can hear what people are saying when they are walking in the hotel corridors! And another thing, the lines were a tad long but thatโ€™s probably because it was busy. Will I be back? It depends.

Service is great and staff is very friendly. The lounge view is wonderful with splendid choices of drinks and really comfortable! The sea view rooms have a great vibe, perfect for couples. Rooms are very clean and well stocked with complementary tea and coffee options.

Everything expected of a Hyatt brand. Grand reception area, nice smelling corridor, simple and clean room, good service. Booked a room that overlook the harbour area, and. it was during the vivid. Sydney period hence was treated to the light shows every half-hourly. Also visited the Zephyr bar that is on the roof top. I didn't book and the bar was crowded. But the staff were pleasant and nice and got me a harbour view seat as soon as one is available. Music is not bad, nice bustling environment. However, the sound proofing of the rooms is a suspect. Even though I lived a few floor down, I can hear the beats to the music every night.

Stayed a couple of nights with my husband. The room was a good size and very clean. The view of the harbour was much more than we expected. The staff are super friendly and so welcoming. We'll definitely stay here again.

Iโ€™ll try to be positive first, but overall this was a pretty poor experience for a so-called 5 star hotel. The staff were kind and the breakfast spread was full of great selections, but thatโ€™s not enough to warrant its 5 star rating. The rooms, while nicely decorated, are tiny. Iโ€™m 6 foot tall and felt like I was in a basement suite the ceilings were so low. The bathroom was tiny and had the worst water pressure Iโ€™ve ever experienced in a hotel. The bathroom fittings were also very low. The hotel has no valet - so enjoy the self parking experience in the parking garage across the road. The on site venues, while nicely decorated, were a bit raucous for a 5 star experience with loud guests who decided they couldnโ€™t make it to the actual toilets and used alcoves instead and insisted on screaming at the top of their lungs. Not a security guard in sight for ages. Overall I wouldnโ€™t recommend this hotel if you want a 5 star experience. Itโ€™s 3.5-4 stars max.

Rooms are nice and clean and the location is convenient. Plenty to do and see within walking distance. Only about a 5 minute walk to Darling Harbour. Service is great and quick. There's also a beautiful bar on the rooftop with a 180 view of the harbour so that's worth seeing (free entry). Only downfall is that there's no pool, but not a major issue :)

Amazing location Right on the darling harbour and only a short walk to the mall. The staff are so respectful, accomodating and warm whilst also remaining highly professional. So luxurious and so much included within the price. You pay for what you get and every single cent is justified.

UPDATE: Three staff members came and tended to the previous mentioned issues. They were all extremely kind and even hand brushed scrubbed the tile in the shower. We deeply appreciate the willingness of the Hyatt to rectify the situation and help our final night be a clean and peaceful one. The rooms are small but the views we have overlooking the Darling Harbour have offered some enjoyment. Room service has been consistently prompt and the food was nice and hot. Although, we preferred dinner options over the breakfast options. The young woman at the front desk who checked us in and helped us get the housekeeping we needed is a gem. Her name started with a P and she has a gorgeous smile and hospitality. Weโ€™d give the Hyatt another opportunity next trip over. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Our familyโ€™s first stay at the Hyatt has been highly disappointing. Neither of our two rooms have been vacuumed ( called guest services for additional vacuuming, they scent a young man up with a vacuum that lacked suction so the floors remained unclean), the shower floors clearly havenโ€™t been scrubbed in sometime, and I later found used items in the amenity kit drawer. The lack of attention to detail gives me great pause about the Hyatt brand. We have one more night here, but at this point I could not recommend this hotel as a clean option to lay your head down at night.

Revised review 2: I have to compliment the management and staff at the Hyatt Regency Sydney for listening to their customers feedback. Sincere efforts to make changes and an immediate difference in service is rare these days. I will be sad to leave when I head to the Melbourne Hyatt for the next leg of my journey. Thanks to all for your efforts. (for reference, I have upgraded from a 2, 4, then 5 star review to reflect the differences in service, which can make or break an experience at a hotel no matter how good the hardware). Revised review 1: service has improved at the cafe restaurant hence the revised review. Hopefully the new staff continue to improve over time. Prior review: Mixed impressions after returning to this hotel after over three years and quite a different experience. Many trainee staff. Bellboys did not come to me after arriving by taxi. Check-in was very emotionless and unfriendly. Restaurant staff does ask whether you want tea or coffee after sitting, and the manager is more interested in chatting rather than checking whether staff are serving customers. Let's see how the rest of my stay pans out.

Me and my family visited here for the buffet breakfast to celebrate my mother's 52nd. The food variety was incredible, with an entire section just for fresh fruit. Food tasted amazing and table service was excellent, the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, we came on finals day for Panthers vs Broncos so it was very crowded which made it noisy and slightly uncomfortable. Overall I would definitely consider coming again for breakfast, maybe on a less busy day.

We got the king bed with the harbour view! It didnโ€™t disappoint. The bed and pillows were so comfy, had a great night sleep which is very important. The shower also has a great pressure, itโ€™s good. We went to Sailmaker restaurant for buffet breakfast, the staffs are courteous, food was hot and delicious. Pleasant experience.

Just had a weekend staying at the Hyatt Regency and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and comfortable with great views of the harbour. All the small details made the stay that much nicer and was nice to come back at the end of the day after housekeeping had refreshed the room. Staff were warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had access to the regency club lounge and the staff in there were wonderful, best breakfast omlette iv had in a long time Zephyr bar was enjoyable, staff provided great service and was a great location to enjoy a drink with a view. Overall great location, friendly service and wonderful place to stay. We will be back

The staff make this hotel, all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was clean, well designed and comfortable. Did not have a harbour view but nevertheless happy with the room. Fitness centre was better than many hotels, with a cardio room and weights room.

4 star because no parking, no swimming pool, no back or front yard, no proper lounge area (has a sitting area at the foot of the reception). The bar on 12th floor was fully closed for whole day when we arrived. However, staffs are extremely friendly and very helpful. Also, hotel rooms and all areas are absolutely clean and tidy. The location is great and the property has a new and luxury feel to it. We upgraded for fantastic view rooms.

Was amazing to work with Alana and the Hyatt Regency team, for our gala dinner event in the Grand Ballroom. There were super accommodating of all requests and adjustments in the leadup and on the day of the event. The ballroom looked amazing, and all of our attendees were super happy! The meals were delicious, and they were able to accommodate for all of our dietary requirements. Highly recommend for your events!

Attended a one day conference (so can't comment on the rooms), but seminar space was generous with lots of natural light. Good servings of food (tasty plus healthy options). Polite and helpful staff. Only minor complaints- aircon got very chilly towards the end of the day, and I'm not a fan of filter coffee. Otherwise, good venue.

I recently enjoyed a delightful two-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Sydney. Accompanied by my wife, mother, and aunt, we sought a centrally located, reputable hotel for our Sydney vacation and found that the Hyatt Regency Sydney delivered beyond our expectations. Nestled within the vibrant Darling Harbour, the hotel's prime location is simply unparalleled. A stone's throw away from a plethora of Sydney's iconic landmarks, such as the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the enriching Australian Museum, it serves as a gateway to the city's cultural and entertainment attractions. The vicinity is also teeming with a variety of restaurants, bars, and shopping outlets, making it a hub of exciting activities all within walking distance. The hotel itself embodies a modern and chic aura. Its rooms are generously spacious and meticulously appointed, while the bathrooms mirror a sense of luxury and opulence. We were particularly impressed by the staff's dedication to excellent customer service; always ready to answer our questions and offer insightful recommendations for dining and local activities. Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Sydney was nothing short of exceptional. Its prime location, pristine rooms, and remarkable staff make it a standout choice. When considering the Hyatt Regency Sydney, here are some key pros and cons: Pros: ยท Prime location for easy exploration ยท Modern, sophisticated design ยท Spacious and tastefully decorated rooms ยท Luxurious bathrooms ยท Staff renowned for their friendliness and helpfulness ยท Highly praised breakfast buffet ยท Family-friendly amenities, including a kids' club and a playground Cons: ยท Potential for noise in rooms facing the street ยท Limited public parking availability In summary, the Hyatt Regency Sydney is a hotel I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone planning a visit to Sydney, especially with family. It's a delightful blend of comfort, location, and top-tier service. Additional Information: ยท The hotel features a rooftop bar offering breathtaking city views ยท Fitness center and swimming pool are available on-site ยท A variety of dining options are offered, including a buffet restaurant, a fine-dining restaurant, and a bar ยท The hotel is pet-friendly

Wonderful staff all over the building, in the restaurant, bars etc or at the desks. They couldn't do enough to help and were receptive to any request. Would highly recommend the buffet breakfast which had enough variety to never grow old over my 9-day stay. The only tiny tiny knock on the place is it's about a 12 minute walk to the nearest train station, so if you're commuting there might be more convenient spots. Perfect for tourists who want to spend time in Darling Harbour of an evening though.

Checked in and the entry and reception are good, then everything else is 4 star. Not sure who determines how many stars a hotel is in Australia but I would not consider this to be a 5 star hotel. For example no pool and the quality inside the rooms are 4 star, not even free water.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. After months of lockdown and many cancelled holidays my friend and I booked 2 nights accommodation which included free flowing French champagne and a 3 course seafood lunch. When we arrived at the restaurant, at our confirmed booking time, we were turned away. We were then told to go back to the restaurant where the waiter had no idea about the lunch so sat us down, gave us a menu and a glass of prosecco. We showed the waiter our booking. He then returned with the seafood that was hastily put together, inedible and frankly unsafe to eat. We complained bitterly as did another patron. We were then served the second course which was overcooked meat and dried up fish. Overall it was a bitterly disappointing experience. As a consolation we were offered a room upgrade and VIP inclusions next time we stay. I have no intention of going back and at no point were we offered our money back.

The hotel uses refillable soap, conditioner and shampoo, the soap was empty upon arrival and was never filled up during our stay. The hotel does not have a pool and only have Free to Air Tv, no sports channel. Unfortunately itโ€™s not a real 5 star hotel.

I have to admit to being a little disappointed with my stay here, it looks amazing from the outside, but maybe it's just a bit too big and, when busy, the service has been just a bit slow. first issue was laundry, I'm on business so have to wear staff uniform to work, so rely on the cleaning service to keep up, and my first drop off took 2 days to return which left me short on clothes. Breakfast buffet has a good selection, but you have to order tea and coffee, this morning it was 35 mins before it arrived, and it wasn't packed, yesterday I was offered 4 or 5 times so it seems to depend what table you're at as to the service. The room is ok, quite an odd shape as I'm in the corner of the building, but even here the curtains don't close properly and as I have to do some late shifts I need to sleep during the day, so it's just a bit annoying. there is also quite a lot of road traffic noise considering how high up the building I am, I'd expect the windows to let it less noise.. Don't get me wrong, this isn't terrible by any stretch, but it just looks better on the surface than my experience has been, perhaps I was just unlucky.. trying the laundry again tomorrow so let's see how that goes... update, laundry arrived back same day this time around..

I wanted to express my appreciation for the excellent service provided by your team, particularly Tia Li, the Venue Sales Manager. Her expertise and guidance were invaluable and I am grateful for her support. Every aspect of my experience was handled with care and expertise. The team was responsive to my needs, and their commitment to customer satisfaction was exceptional. Overall, I highly recommend Hyatt. Your team's professionalism, expertise, and dedication to excellence exceeded my expectations. Thank you again for the exceptional service.

The room was fine but nothing spectacular. The king bed was two king singles pushed together so kept falling down the middle. No water pressure in the shower so the water dropped straight onto the shelf under the tap making it difficult to shower.

Attended Gin High Tea, was absolutely beautiful, food was georgous, only problem we had was the milk for our cups of tea was off and the tea was curdled, had it replaced. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon even though there was that small hiccup. Have recommended to my friends as was an enjoyable afternoon

The staff is wonderful. They are super attentive and friendly. We had requested early check-in and by the time we arrived room was ready. We were really grateful that we could check in early as we were tired from our long flight. Later we needed to plan our days, Gary Chan at concierge desk super friendly and helpful assisting us with arranging daily excursions, and was always available to assist us with a pleasant smile. We loved our stay.

When to the hotel on a work trip was an amazing experience! The only complaints that me and other friends had was that the rooms were very hot. There was no way to turn on the air conditioning! The staff were lovely and rooms and other amenities were very clean. I would recommend and will be coming back.

I booked two nights accommodation and upon check-in requested an additional nights stay. I was told it will cost $40 more than the booked rate and I was fine with that. After the second nights stay, I received a phone call asking why I have not checked out. Twice I confirmed with staff at the front desk I have three nights stay and they failed to secure the booking. Over our discussion about the issue I was told they are "booked out" however (if) I wanted to stay another night it will be $$ (double what I paid for the two nights). I challenged why it's double the rate when that was not what I was promised. They made the mistake and the customer had to financially cover their error. Poor communication, poor customer service. Poor experience. I booked elsewhere with better service for the customer.

Very impressed by the electric blackout blinds in the room. They provided a perfect solution for a restful night's sleep, allowing me to customize the room's darkness effortlessly. A thoughtful touch that truly enhanced my overall experience.

Great location. OK value and OK rooms. The carpet on our floor was smelly and the ambience of the hallway was very dated, nowhere near 5 stars, so walking from the elevator to our room was no pleasant. Other than that, all good, as long as one does not expect too much.

Arrived at the hotel lobby at 8am, Extremely poor attitude by the front desk manager who refused to give us a time when the room could be ready, even though the front desk assistant said the room is just waiting for inspection after cleaning was completed. The front desk manager kept insisting that check in is at 3pm and was not willing to give us an approximate time when the room could be ready making us wait not knowing how long and unable to plan our next appointment after having traveled for 18 hours to reach this property Would expect a bit more customer friendly attitude from a Hyatt staff

The staff at reception were great and the decor in the rooms was lovely but the rooms are VERY small. We booked online and the online photos are very different to reality- amazing what they can do with wide-angled cameras . It is impossible for two people to get ready in the tiny bathroom. Also we were on the street side of the hotel and the traffic noise was significant. This is not a 5 star hotel.

Convenient location with a great view of the harbour. Buffet breakfast was nice with many options to choose from. My only problem with the stay was being abruptly stopped and interrogated by a rude female staff member upon re entering the hotel asking "where are you going?" Then asking for my hotel card as proof. I understand it's probably protocol but the manner in which she did it was absolutely disgusting and ruined my night

From the moment we walked in to the foyer we were warmly greeted by the Hyatt Regency staff. Our room was superb overlooking the glorious Cockle Bay/Darling Harbour precinct. Breakfast was delicious at the Sailmaker restaurant and the highlight was cocktails at the Zephyr bar. Definitely a memorable stay for our family, we will be back.

Nice stay, but bizzare service. For some reason bar staff refuse to put a check in QR code in the upstairs bar, so if you are a guest going to the bar from the room they will send you first to the lobby just to check in rather than just putting a code upstairs. As a guest you are not guaranteed a seat in any of their restaurants or bars. They have drinks (literally just Ophir gin, nothing special) on display which you canโ€™t buy, because they are just for display. It really just feels like this hotel is all about putting forward a very โ€˜first class lookโ€™ but it is all for show.

Great location and rooms are very spacious. Hotel staff are fantastic and Sonan at breakfast is amazing with his happy and friendly nature. Will stay at this beautiful hotel again soon. Also dined at both restaurants and found the food and drinks were very nice and prices are good and great service by the friendly staff.

Good location easy access to shops and restaurants. I probably would say itโ€™s more 4 star than 5 star. Rooms are quite small compared to other hotels I usually stay in. The bathroom design is not that great should have double basins . Also the rooftop bar is very overpriced and there was definitely no COVID safe awareness on the Saturday night.

We have been to many 5 star hotels in Sydney to date, however thanks to Peter Brownโ€™s hospitality our experience at the Hyatt Regency was second to none. Peter went above and beyond, and continuously checked in on us to ensure we were enjoying our stay (even though it was a busy weekend)! I cannot speak more highly of him. Thanks Peter, we will be back soon :)

We stayed for 4 nights at Hyatt Regency. While the staff at reception are very kind and helpful, the other staff seem lacking. As a Globalist we had breakfast included for two, but when we checked in at the breakfast the first morning the person who was at the counter said there was only one person registered for breakfast and seemed hesitant to let one of us in. He did let us in and offered us beverages. Since we have our breakfast included we assumed what he offered us was included too, as he didn't tell us at any point that those will be charged extra. So for two days we had the same things to drink offered by the same staff who, for both days, never mentioned anything about it being extra charged. On the 3rd day another staff took care of us and did tell us it was charged, so that left us with an unpleasant feeling of not even knowing what is being charged and what not. The cleaning team also didn't change our sheets after three days of stay and upon request they first just made the bed and replaced the towels, but didn't clean any of the used cups/empty bottles nor replaced the bed sheets. We then called that same day to have the sheet freshened up, and while they should have been up to the room in 10-15min, it took them over 3h We had to call multiple times to ask what was going on as well. The sheets are supposed to be replaced daily so we don't know why it didn't happen. The room was also cold at night even though we turned the AC off. Our experience wasn't good, sadly. Edit: I forgot to mention that I was horrified to find mold in the back of the room fridge (where the water from the fridge is supposed to run away but was standing still) as well..

A nice experience but one that perhaps left us a little wanting from what it could be. A nicely appointed hotel ... Had hoped it lived up to the high end brand on the door. I look forward to a more luxurious experience next time.

Great staff, great food and a great place to stay. I soon realised 2 days after our stay we were charged twice to our credit card. 3 phone calls later to the so called accounts team who have made only false promises, we shall receive the money back in 5-7 working days. This has changed a great weekend experience into a week of hell

Great location everything else is waaaaaay below standard. Dirty cups and plates. Dirty toilet and glass.Had to beg staff for salt never got it. Reception doesn't answer, room services doesn't answer, concierge doesn't answer. Asked for cream during breakfast got told don't have, awesome 65$ a person breakfast. Shame on you.

The staff was wonderful and greeted us with a smile we requested an early check in and a late check out and our wishes were met. The room service menu was very vast it arrived hot and well presented and it tasted as good as it looked ! Iโ€™ve been here quite a few times and it has vastly improved .. great value for money and the rooms have fantastic views of darling harbour . Iโ€™m looking forward to my next stay โค๏ธ

Very happy with our 3 night stay. Breakfast was excellent with "real" coffee. Staff were very good. Parking at Wilson across Street is convenient but quite expensive. Location is close to city and Darling Harbour

Was here for a day-long event and it is a beautiful venue. Extremely professional and efficient staff. Delicious and well presented food. My only criticism is the dim lighting in certain areas that made capturing quality photos and footage almost impossible.

As the largest hotel in the area, it's very nicely located across from the south shore of Darling Harbour, in the midst of attractions such as the aquarium, smaller zoo, maritime museum, conference center, shopping district, Sydney Tower, Friendship Chinese Garden, Chinatown and many more. Many rooms have a direct view of the Darling Harbour Saturday Fireworks. Excellent buffet breakfast with eggs made to order, and afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the Club is under renovation versus just being shuttered during Covid.

A most amazing stay! After our 15 hour flight, we arrived and we're so expertly greeted by Ramsay. We put us at ease and got us in early. Incredible service from the start. Outstanding location overlooking Darling Harbour pales to the service provided by Ramsay and Luke! The best of Sydney. For sure!

Attended the gin high tea on Saturday. Service was above and beyond. Atmosphere was perfect. Great selection of savoury bites. Best scones I've ever had. Sweets were amazing, buffet style. Too much tonic in the G&T's.

Quite a nice hotel. Well kept rooms and areas, convenient city location and nice views from the room out to the bay. Room amenities were good, with tea and coffee available in the bar fridge, iron and hair dryer, robes and slippers and bathroom supplies (makeup pads, q tips, towels, face towels, bathmats) Staff were friendly but didn't always give full information. I wasn't told how to turn on the lights in my room, or shown where the elevators were to get up to the rooms. Was here for a work trip and enjoyed my stay.

Rooms are nice, but not fantastic. Very small. Location is just perfect. Walking distance to everywhere, train station, tram, darling Harbour, high end shopping precinct, business district, Chinatown and much more. Service by staff was efficient and polite. Get a room with a view over darling Harbour. Just beautiful.

Had a great stay at the Hyatt! Only stayed the one night but will definitely be returning when next in Sydney! The staff where very friendly and helpful along with a beautiful lobby and room! Cannot complain about anything room, staff or hotel related! Definitely worth the coin! Will return again and can highly recommend!

Soon as soon we entered we noticed the bed sheets and toilet was not clean( saw some blood marks on the bed) did ring and informed the hotel but they seems to not much worried. So we decided to leave and ended up with paying for the car park (85$) just for 2 hours. Ended up in staying 4 star hotel which was far better than this 5star. Over the phone they will offer you some romance packages with additional charges ( a romantic drink voucher and chocolate). I made special requests to be done and expected some real romantic but end-up with calling the service and asking where is the romantic chocolate.
