Booked the Tower Premium King room for one night’s stay for me and my husband after a day out in the city. The building and entrance of the hotel was stunning. Staff were also very courteous and welcoming. We were able to check in earlier than the standard 3pm check-in. We had a beautiful view and the room seemed nice and clean. Room service was also excellent. However, it was a very humid night and the aircon seemed to only stay at 20.5 degrees and couldn’t be turned down any further all night. Both my husband and I felt really suffocated in the room. The TV also does not work at all and it was a bit disappointing we couldn’t watch anything as we wanted a night in. I called front desk about these issues however because of the time of the night there were no engineers available. Front desk staff said she would call me right back after checking what other options we had. However we never received a call. I would have been happy with a fan or something but it was just disappointing staff never returned my call. Overall the two issues really affected how comfortable our stay was. And for a 5-star hotel we really expected these sort of issues to not occur or at least be addressed when informed.

We decided to spend a little extra and enjoy our stay in Sydney by booking at the Fullerton. The hotel is beautiful, especially the reception. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always offering assistance and a friendly smile. We loved the pillow menu too, a really great touch. We did request fresh milk for our room for tea and coffee, as we don’t enjoy long life milk, and there seemed to have been a little confusion among the staff, though it was remedied quickly and a staff member phoned to ensure we had received the milk which is great. The shower and water pressure are fabulous, one of the best we’ve experienced. And the large bath with a gorgeous city view. Our bed was comfortable and we certainly had everything we needed. The location is fabulous for accessing all of the city and We would stay again.

The hotel deserves a 3 star not 5. The entrance and hall ways are lovely but the rooms are cold, musty and not at all what they appear in photos. I was to be staying in an adjoining room as I had a 10 and 14 year old with me. When I arrived the staff put me in two separate rooms. This is not legal with a 14 year old. We were so shocked at the quality of the room we did not stay. The manager was very nice but due to the hotel being full he could only offer us a upgrade but it would mean that my child would be on a roller bed. I had specifically treated my family to a special night out which is why I did not ever get a room with a roller bed. I wanted my 14 year old to have his room and a proper bed. I left and told the staff it was not as the photos portray at all. When we arrived, there was no heating on and the lights were off. It was like no one had lived there in 10 years. I was really disappointed that the manager did not give me some what of a refund as they were fully booked and the rooms would have been taken once I had left. I don't think this hotel deserves a 5 star rating at all (as I have noticed other people have said). I think it is better to say 3 and then you know what to expect. I wasted $1500 that day. I have also just written a unimpressed review with the afternoon tea that afternoon. When we arrived, a film crew was sitting on our reserved table eating takeaways. They were asked to move and we were then seated with the serviettes and plates that were on the table as they had been eating over. This is not 5 star service. And a sorry didn't cut it. None of the criticisms were to do with a lack of staff because of Covid or difficulty in hiring staff. But the staff with the afternoon tea did not keep an eagle eye over the tables they were supposed to be supervising.

My wife and I we stayed at the Fullerton Sydney on Dec 27 and this was our experience. On arrival, the checkin experience was somehow confusing. Our reservation was including parking, late check out and afternoon tea, and the attendant didn’t seem to see any of these items at a first glance. Once we mentioned the afternoon tea, we were directed to The Place, when it was actually being served at The Bar. At The Bar, we were informed that a reservation was necessary for afternoon tea, which was not mentioned at check in… fortunately, the wait personnel at The Bar went above and beyond to accommodate us. Also to this regards, the concierge on duty didn’t see at first glance in our reservation that parking was already prepaid and offered a discount voucher. In general, it seems that both check in and checkout procedures could use some tuning. Another point worth mentioning is the waiting time for breakfast. It is understandable that guests might be asked to wait during peak times. However, informing guests of when these peak times are should be part of the standard check in procedure in a five star hotel. In general, the Fullerton Hotel Sydney is in a perfect location and features one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. It shines, not because of the management (procedures need some review) but because of every single person that is in direct contact with guests.

Stayed at the Fullerton for the first time this week and our whole experience was so good that I should write a review. My wife and I were attending a function in the Grand ball room, we have been to many functions are the top hotels around Sydney and this one was the best, excellent facilities and fantastic service. Our Hotel stay was just as good, from the moment we arrived the friendly service was a pleasant surprise. The room (suite on 27 floor) was outstanding with views down George street and west to the mountains. Our room service was a standout and very friendly, so much better then some others who claim 6 star service. Can't wait for another reason to stay their again, maybe our anniversary next month.

Maybe I was very unlucky. But this hotel does not even deserve 1 star. I arrived, the room looked nice. TV - didn’t work. Shower - no water pressure and it was either boiling hot or freezing cold. Cleanliness of the room - I never got my towels replaced. At the end I ran out and had to ask if I get fresh ones. You could see how tall the cleaning staff is - above their heights, every mirror was disgustingly dirty. Breakfast buffet - very poor. I left my room for 18 hours. When I came back - mini bar wasn’t refilled. I called the reception - answer: mini bar service stops after 10pm. Wine and sparkly in the bar - undrinkable. Not sure why and how they claim to be a 5 star hotel. So far there is not one thing likeable. Very disappointing and definitely will not return

What can I say about this hotel except how excellent it is… here are just a few wonderful things about The Fullerton.. 1. The staff 2. The staff!! Nothing is too much trouble at this hotel, from Housekeeping, bar, restaurant, porters to the front desk, all the staff are amazing. Everyone seems so happy in their job and you are always greeted with a smile. A big shout out to lovely Teresa and Kai. 3. Rooms are thoroughly clean and the beds (and pillows) are so comfortable. Thank you for making my Partner’s birthday so special. 4. Excellent location We felt so at home here and The Fullerton will always be our first choice in Sydney x

The hotel's location is excellent, and while the breakfast tastes ordinary, there is a wide variety available (though I don't recommend the hotel's coffee). It's just a 2-minute walk to the light rail and a 10-minute walk to the subway station (due to an uphill slope). Hyde Park and the Sydney Tower are both nearby. The staff's attitude, whether at the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant, is very good and friendly. The only drawback is that when calling the front desk for things, there is often a tendency to miss items. For example, once I requested six bottled waters, but only four were delivered. Another time, I asked for three cups, and I received three cups, plates, and two spoons. Despite these minor issues, I would still recommend it!

Absolutely a stunning place to stay. A really pretty historic building and extremely well maintained. From the moment I step into the hotel to the restaurant bar and the breakfast buffet it is just top of the range. My husband and I was extremely happy with our stay. The only complaint is the air-conditioning turn off automatically and the room get quite warm. I will definitely come back every year for our stay for our anniversary.

Went there for a function in the Grand Ballroom. Underwhelmed. Poor signage to direct people coming. Hardly any staff around to help with this 700 person event. Some arrivals complained about lack of information for accessible paths to the event. And the doors to the ballroom were hard to open for older people there. Great location and iconic building though.

A delightful stay! Rooms is spacious and has a comfortable bed (I hoped that the two single bed wheels were locked. I woke up to a bed quite separated from my husband’s single bed), well stocked toiletries and a clean one bathroom (be careful with the toilet floor. It’s a beautify marble but so slippery after having a shower/bath. Breakfast selection is great and fitness center is quite limited but has up to date equipments.

Came here for lunch after a recommendation from a friend and I must say I was not disappointed. Staff were welcoming and the place had an overall grand yet relaxing feel. The architecture perfectly blends a mix of modernity with a very historically special building. The location is also very convenient and easily accessible being located close to both trains and light rail. Food was great and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here.

We finally made it to this beautiful Hotel and we were very surprised at how nice it was and definitely five star. My wife and I attended the Hesta Awards Night and the building is well worth taking a walk around during you stay. It offers very nice bars, restaurants and we had an excellent breakfast under the big glass roof between the buildings. I recommend you stay at this excellent hotel and be great with five star service. I took the time to use google street view to find the car park entrance and it got me there no problem. To all the staff you were amazing keep up the good work.

I wish we’d read the reviews before booking into this hotel. Before booking we called to make sure they could provide us with a baby cot for our daughter which they said they can do. They asked us to call them after booking our room so that “they could make sure to write down on our booking that we needed the baby cot”. When we arrived we were given a key to our room, went upstairs and there was no baby cot. We went back downstairs and told them there was no cot in the room and the staff apologized and told us they forgot and that they would put a cot in the room straight away. Which wasn’t a major issue. We asked them if we could get an upgrade (booking conditions say you can request a room upgrade) because the first room they gave us was so small that I doubt we could have fitted a baby cot in there. The staff was nice and gave us an upgrade to a better and bigger room. When we went upstairs I saw a stain on the glass wall that separates the bathroom and bedroom. Someone that stayed in the room before us kissed the glass and the stain was still there. Also, we wanted to have some wine and when we opened the drawer to get the glasses one of the four wine glasses was dirty with traces of wine inside!!! We went downstairs to let them know before leaving for the day and they apologized. When we came back after spending the whole day out the stain on the bathroom glass was still there… and… the dirty wine glass was there as well!!! I usually don’t write reviews online since I think it’s better to talk to the staff and try to fix the problem rather than pretending everything is ok and then write a bad review but after we told them about the dirty stuff in the room they could have just replaced the wine glass and cleaned the glass wall and it would have ended up there. The entrance is beautiful but the corridors and rooms are smelly and old. This hotel shouldn’t be a 5 star hotel. I think maybe a 3 stars. On the positives, the breakfast staff were super attentive and extremely nice. They were the only good think about our stay at this hotel.

It is rare I make a poor review, we had a business meeting at the ground floor bar of this hotel. Service was slow & poor,. The seating area for the bar is quite long & it was obvious there wasn't enough staff to. Service such a large area. It took way too long to get the attention of any service staff for our first drink, it took even longer to make 2 coffees. The second drink was harder to order or receive. When we were finished nobody was around to ask for the bill, we had to walk up to the bar ourselves, tell me we were leaving & describe our bill. Even then they gave us the wrong bill. Overall this wasn't a pleasant experience. Didn't stay in the rooms so I can't comment on the accommodation.

Such a lovely stay at the Fullerton Hotel Sydney! Don’t have anything to complain about! The staff where extremely friendly (in particular the door staff who where very welcoming and friendly). The rooms are very neat and tidy and very well sized! A very cool feature that I appreciated very much was that there is a large speaker in the room which was awesome! Overall the hotel has been a 5 out of 5 stars from me! Thank you Fullerton Hotel for making our Sydney trip a one to remember! Can highly recommend!

This hotel is in the absolute best position for going out on foot to anywhere in Sydney. We stayed in the executive suite, which had an amazing view. Although the room was clean enough, I was disappointed that there were only 4 not very plush pillows on the bed. There was mold in the grout lines of the shower, which was a bit surprising. While the staff were courteous and well presented, there were a few things that showed a lack of coordination in the booking system. Firstly, our room was made up with an extra collapsible bed even though we only booked for 2 people. They left a chocolate and card of welcome in our room, but it was addressed to someone else. When we told them about it as we were worried that the other couple had missed out... they sent up another card and chocolate addressed to Mr Lowe and partner when the booking was under Mr and Mrs Lowe for our 23rd wedding anniversary! These are all just little details that we have enjoyed from other top hotels around Australia and the world and is something that needs a little polishing at the Fullerton. Overall, I would stay here again, and I would recommend it to others.

Stayed here with my partner for her birthday night and the team were lovely at every interaction. Check-in was delayed as I did not have a physical credit card on me, but the lady serving me was patient with me and made me feel like a valued guest the entire time. We were offered water whilst we figured things out. Once we reached our room, we were delighted by our room alongside the view of the city scape that came with it. The cakes I ordered arrived at our room soon after and despite their affordable prices, were delicious and gorgeously plated. the lady that came to drop them to us was delightful and wished us well, which we both appreciated. Arriving back from dinner we were greeted by the desk staff and were asked about our evening and all these little things really added to our night. The week after our stay I realised some important items were left behind, and soon after emailing them, they responded quickly to say they had put them aside, with a reference number for collection, as well as some options available for shipping. Pickup was quick and easy and despite my inconvenience to them they were still polite and friendly each step of the way. Thank you Fullerton Hotel for your great accomodation and world class customer service! We will be back again soon.

Supposed to be 5 star but definitely not. Room had holes in walls , chipped furniture, leaking taps ,poor water pressure. At the bar served a drink in a filthy glass and was informed by the manger sorry but please have a free drink and she commented this hotel is not like 5 star hotels overseas! Lovely!! Dressing gowns provided are for children and no response when asked for an adult one. Was charged $80 for parking and promised a refund twice but after weeks of emails was informed it will not be forthcoming ,but if I would like to re book I could get an upgrade-charming!!! No I would not go back if they paid me.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms look so much elegant in real life than how they look in photos. Staff were very professional and sensible (recommended a better room fitted for the purpose). Lovely building, really pleasant breakfast, the entire building (hotel area) smelled nice for some reason.. great location for any city activities :) went there to celebrate mama's bday and she loved it! We did a foot spa together at night whilst seeing the clock tower.

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney is a gem in the heart of the city. Its central location means you’re just a stroll away from shops, top-notch restaurants, and the iconic Sydney Opera House. The convenience is unmatched. What’s more, the buffet breakfast is a delight – a perfect start to your day of exploring. The hotel’s classic charm, combined with its modern amenities, creates a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, The Fullerton Hotel Sydney offers an amazing Sydney experience. Highly recommended for those who want to be in the heart of the action!

It is absolutely stunning and absolutely affordable. Cannot wait to come back to this stunning location. My partner and I had the best sleep of our lives. It was just so peaceful, and the bed was so comfy... we didn't mean to get so much sleep, I'll be honest with you, haha! It was so worth it though.

Stayed here for 4 nights during NYE and what a wonderful stay. Great rooms and even better service. Ash the doorman greeted us upon our arrival and anytime we would see him during our stay we would chat. He is actually a big reason behind the 5/5 review! Housekeeping was amazing too. Highly recommend and we will come back.

The Fullerton is my Sydney home away from home when I get down here. Covid really messed with my routine but hopefully Ill be here more regularly in future. Amazingly team members remembered my name and many are familiar faces. I don't know how they do that but it’s comforting and deeply appreciated. Everything is as well done and well kept as always. I miss the Italian cafe “Intermezzo” and the restaurants that used to be downstairs but things change with new management. (Since before Covid). Except for fluctuating prices during high demand the Fullerton is in the right spot, the friendly professionalism and the excellent rooms and facilities. Thanks team.

We love this hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend and had an amazing experience. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful and attentive! The hotel is in a great location and the building/rooms are great. Shout out to Peter for recommending Manly as a day trip, the beach & ferry ride are very nice! A must stay hotel in Sydney!

Amazing old world hotel. Had a great experience, from early check-in , comfortable classy Club Room on 28th Floor. We did have a Tech issue in the room which was handled wonderfully by the manager. Loved the luxurious marble bathroom, separate toilet, shower , double basins & bath. Quality amenities, bathrobes & slippers supplied. Comfy bed. We were happily surprised by the quality of evening canapes and breakfast in the Club Lounge. Best service and Breakfast we've experienced in a hotel 'club lounge'. Overall a great experience recommending to anyone who wants a special hotel stay, and close to Royal Theatre, the proximity to the Royal is why we booked this hotel to see the show 'Tina', however looking forward to future longer stays here.

We booked this beautiful hotel for a work function and I cannot stress enough how absolutely INCREDIBLE the entire team were. From reservations, to meeting rooms, to booking taxi's, to the food and EVERYTHING else, there is nothing that they didn't do to meet our expectations. Jeremy and Jacob in particular were world-class and I would recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone. Thank you for being amazing, incredible, spectacular, excellent, beyond words, superb, outstanding, marvelous and exceptional. I could go on but you get my drift. Thank you again and we will continue to use The Fullerton Hotel for every occassion.

Wonderful experience staying in a deluxe suite. It was an older hotel but don't let that make you think they aren't providing a quality service. The room was great and contained all the things you'd expect in a high quality hotel. The executive club was a nice touch and we enjoyed spending our evenings there having pre drinks. We arrived at 7am and we were lucky enough that our room was already available.

I may say hotel is very good. But one of the lady staff at the front is not that helpful, we were there for a night and left something in the room, we got back and told the lady the details including names, room number and booking number. The lady just couldn’t find the according records, after wasting an hour, finally the other lady at the front found the records. And I don’t think she try any effort to ask someone for help. I don’t see what’s the difficult to pull out the information, waste of our time apparently.

Absolute Gem in the Heart of Sydney. The hotel is beautiful, generously size bedrooms, clean and the beds are heavenly to sleep in. The Lobby Bar private "Room" was spectacular place to start an intimate gathering with champagne pouring before heading to the spectacular ball room. Looking forward to returning for our next celebrations.

What an incredible place!! We feel so lucky that we found this wonderful hotel that combines amazing history and architecture! It is located downtown Sydney, walking distance to the tram, which runs every few minutes and takes you everywhere around the city. The opera house, botanical gardens, harbor and wonderful restaurants are very close by. What a special place to come to!!! They also offer each morning a wonderful complementary historic tour with an extremely knowledgeable docent, Sofi, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend every guest definitely participate in this treat!!

Disappointed with this hotel. Only thing good is the location. Other things else is not worthy of a 5 star hotel. Room lights were not working. I thought it was me who didn't know how to turn on and off some switches. Until the next morning I received a knock on the door by the electrician whom was surprised why someone was staying in that room. Cos he blurted out that he was halfway working on the electricals lighting. Sink was choked. Whole period of 2 days stay I had to brush my teeth, wash my hands and face in the shower room. Shower temperature was hard to tune. Either too hot or cold. And till I finally get the right temperature, the water will change the temperature on its own w/o me tuning the knob. Aircon switches off itself in the middle of night. No make up of room until I called for servicing. And eventually when done, didn't refill the water in the room. Breakfast was disappointing as well. The spread if I can only comment is only the eggs station that was ok. There was no other live station for noodles etc. 1 min walk around and you are done browsing the food options. Stayed in 3 star hotel which had better spread than this. Front receptionist when checking in the hotel wasn't helpful or given me the service I thought would be the same as other 5 star hotel. No smile and didn't even tell me the WiFi or breakfast level. Simply works like a robot and even handed me a tablet to fill up my own details which they could check on my booking details. I had a long flight and reached hotel at 10pm. Still had to stand there to fill the unnecessary details. Overall is a very bad experience for me. Will not stay at fullerton anymore

I loved my stay at the Fullerton Hotel to celebrate my mother’s birthday. I just wanted to make a special shout-out to the lovely Isabel, who looked after us so graciously when we had high tea at The Bar. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable! We look forward to coming back.

This hotel was in a great location, had superb service and was truly a comfortable stay. All interactions with staff were positive! We stayed on the 29th floor. The atmosphere of the room was relaxing and the building itself was quite beautiful. Shopping is just around the corner and the tram stop is just outside the hotel, which makes it super convenient to get to Chinatown or Circular Quay. We also walked to Circular Quay, which was an easy 7-minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

First time visiting this hotel and i must say i really liked it! Professional and friendly staff, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Also i think if being a guest at The Fullerton Hotel, parking should be Free otherwise everything else is great 😊

Nice hotel with a grand lobby and the room, in the new part, was spacious with good storage. The TV had captions available which is rare for hotels and a huge luxury. One point is deducted because power and charging were only on one side of the bed- charging on both sides seems now a basic at any price point. The in-wall USB was strong and fast- unlike the trickles you sometimes get.

Excellent stay in a prime position in Sydney, a mere stroll from Pitt St mall and a short stroll down to Sydney Harbour. The rooms are looking a lil aged but still large, comfortable and the service is top notch. One negative is the breakfast buffet which is rather ordinary and the coffee from the machines is just terrible.

We stayed here for 3 nights, staff were great from reservation to room service. We appreciated the room upgrade, Level 29, great view, spacious, love the layout. Nice little touch to celebrate our stay. The only suggestion is a little variety on breakfast buffet selection. It was great on the 1st morning but could make it better on the 3rd breakfast.

Had a 1 night stay with my wife in Dec 22. Easy check-in (once we'd figured out which entrance to use!) and granted an upgraded room. The room was big compared to many Sydney hotels and well appointed. We had breakfast in The Place and there was a wide range of food served in an area with a great view of the heritage features. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our brief stay. Only minor improvement would be for provision of a firmer pillow - but that's a personal preference.

Located perfectly to explore Sydney at its finest.A beautiful building blends old with new. Our room was quiet and spacious the beds very comfy and the best bed linen Top notch cotton. I’m very fussy here and this was above normal standards. The restaurant for breakfast was average could be better organised for this beautiful hotel, it was busy buffet style but would be nice to have coffee and tea served at your table at least. If you love Malaysian food you have come to the right place. The dining experience when not buffet is excellent. I will write a post separately for The Place the restaurant within the Fullerton. Our 3 night stay was wonderful and we would definitely stay again. Staff were all lovely but would probably eat out for breakfast.

We went to the Fullerton as very few places offer a weekday afternoon tea service and honestly I wish we hadn't bothered. The food was okay, but we were ignored for most of the time, despite it being fairly quiet. We were not given cutlery, we had to hunt down a member of staff to get a single pot of tea, no one offered refills of water or tea and after an hour and 45 minutes, the bill was unceremoniously dropped on our table without us asking (we had booked for 2 hours so this was rather preemptive). My aunt, who walks with a stick for support was made to traipse back and forth across the lobby when we arrived as the manager looked for our table too. The ambience is lacking, the service was terrible and there is very little to recommended.

Booked to stay on a Friday night. Room wasn’t ready for 4.5 hours after scheduled check in time. The booking notes about the special occasion were ignored as well. Had to get ready for dinner in the gym toilet, with a pregnant lady as my travel companion mind you. Was offered a free drink at the lobby after following up. The room looks a bit worn and bare, definitely not the luxury 5 star feel. Our luggage wasn’t there as promised and our TV wasn’t functioning so we had to call a technician to the room. When checking out we gave feedback to the concierge, the manager offered to take half off the stay and instructed the staff member as such. The concierge tried to take only $50 off, so we had to clarify again before she would process the original ask. Staff seemed a bit helpless, no explanations as to the great delays etc, I sense management of this hotel need to make some big changes to address whatever capacity or logistics issues are happening behind the scenes. Disappointing and wouldn’t return.

This hotel is a beautiful and amazingly presented. The service on arrival was 5 star. Our room was beautiful we stayed in a premium tower room where the bedroom had a glass wall overlooking bathroom. The hotel is in the best location within walking distance to pitt st mall. Only thing lacking was buffet breakfast which was probably on the smaller side and not much variety compared to most high end hotels in the area. Other than that our stay was beautiful.

We had a great stay - parking was included but when we got to the station we still had to pay. I called 3 times to ask for a refund but eventually they sorted it out. Breakfast was great - gets busy on the weekend and took a little time to check in but it’s worth it. The staff are friendly and go the extra yard to make you feel special. Thanks again.

A great hotel with superb service. We have stayed there 3 times now and we’re booked in for next week too. Only thing missing is a pool, and even that isn’t a deal breaker. Breakfast is great, rooms are roomy and a comfortable sleep is guaranteed. We always have a good drink and snacks at the bar too. Only good additions would be more veggie and gf options on the room service menu.

Beautiful hotel, the room was lovely with great amenities and comfortable bed. We were fortunate to have a nice view of the city. Accommodating and lovely staff. Great location, walking distance to the shopping centres, the Queen Victoria Building and the wonderful main sights at Circular Quay.

The room is spacious and clean. Location is perfect. However, I had to keep calling house keeping every night for basic supplies e.g. shampoo, soap, and tooth brush. For some reason, everyday all of these supplies get thrown away and not replaced. Whilst house keeping could replenish these supplies upon request, it started to become inconvenient to have to keep doing this everyday. The sink keeps being blocked and I have to manually pull the plug. It seems like it needs repair. The sink faucet also fell twice during my stay. I think the hotel needs a little bit of maintenance. Breakfast buffet is decent but the selection never changes. Having stayed there for 4 nights, I could not look forward to the breakfast anymore for the lack of variety. There was also one day when I ordered coffee during breakfast but it never came. After waiting for 15 minutes, I had to leave. Overall, I wish the experience was better, especially when it comes to finer details. I hope Fullerton can improve on these.

I have stayed here for a business trip and during the stay, there was a little disturbing incident happened in my room. However, what made me surprise was how Fullerton staffs handled the incident and give a comfort to a guest. It was 5 star hotel class, especially thanks to Jacob Batt, it closed smooth and professionally. Just want to share my good experience.

The ladies at reception are super lovely, especially May who served us at check in. The service is prompt and very friendly. Hotel is so clean and looks better than the photos! There’s a beautiful scent when you walk into the lobby also, the vibe was perfect! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and we got a complimentary dessert and card from the general manager sent to our room. 10/10 can’t wait to stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at The Fullerton over the Vivid lights weekend. Location is excellent, right at the door front of Wynyard train station and light rail station. Centrally located at Martin Place and super close to Pitt Street Mall. Loved the twin beds and the spacious room, but the hot water system was very bad as it was so unstable and nearly burnt our children 😔

We finally had the chance to stay at the beautiful Fullerton Hotel. My wife and I had to attend the Hesta Awards Night here and we we’re certainly looked after by all of the lovely staff. This hotel is amazing and has plenty to offer with bars, restaurants, and a great breakfast served under the big glass roof area between the two buildings. To all the staff who helped us with parking and all of the services you were amazing keep up the good work.

I used to stay here regularly when it was the Westin. I stayed in a twin room. The showers had two shower heads and would not work properly - they were both on and the lever was not working to turn one of them off. The hotel foyer and reception staff were excellent. The rating is a 3.5 due to basic maintenance needs should be addressed and that the-room was very basic but the location excellent.

We were a party of 4 dining before the Tina Turner musical. We were asked if we wanted tap, still or sparkling water, however at no point were we told that the still water would be $18.00 per 1 L bottle. We were disappointed when we paid the bill. We went to have the $49 special, which was entree main desert all on one plate . If you are a big eater, this place is not for you. I ordered steak and the size was like a small pikelet. Although the food was quality, it was not enough. Cocktails were 18 but most of the glass was ice… We are always looking for a good price in a meal especially when treating ourselves in Sydney to a show!!! The meal was lovely, the restaurant was gorgeous, it just wasn’t enough and prices were not explained to us. xx

I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this hotel. From the staff to the rooms and the venues, everything was perfect. All the staff were amazing, their service was impeccable and I couldn’t have asked for better. Our room was fantastic and the amenities were above average. I was here for a conference for work so I got to see the venue spaces. All of them were great, with the staff (again) being amazingly attentive. The food at The Place was wow; I’ve never had a better complimentary breakfast experience in my whole life! I also had lunch there and ate food at the conference, and all the food supplied by the hotel was 11/10. Thank you guys for an amazing experience, I will definitely be staying again!

We did not have a good experience here. Apart from the nice concierge team, the room, check-in process wasn't good. The furniture is overused, we waited 3 hours to get our room ready by 7 pm. Yet, the sink was clogged and we waited 30 minutes more to get it fixed, we ordered an extra bed, and they delivered it at 8:30 pm?!! On top of this trouble experience, they charged an extra $400 at midnight; thankfully, I noticed that and reported it to the duty manager, who paid back the money after several days to my credit card. Definitely, this is not 5 stars hotel that you are looking for

Generally excellent central location and comfortable spacious rooms. Could use some detail to maintenance- towel rail fell off and when reported to front desk during check out, they were surprised we didn’t ring someone in the middle of the night to get it fixed. The bath is not especially safe. Slippery, with a poorly located grab rail (but that’s probably on the Westin, the original hotel in that location; Fullerton seems to have taken over the premises without doing up anything). Nespresso machines in the rooms but using awful Vittoria pods, and only a miserly 3 pods provided. Housekeeping randomly replaced the used pods so we ended up with mostly decaf. For a large hotel the buffet breakfast selection was limited. Of course the basics like a couple of egg options, bacon/sausages and breads/cereals were available, but would have liked more options, especially some Asian/international foods- one morning there was rice congee and the next morning only miso soup. The waffles were the worst ever- stodgy, chewy and dry. Staff were a mixed bunch. Some provided excellent 5-star service and others were totally indifferent and seemed poorly trained. It felt like the former were older employees and the latter were maybe newer.
