I really liked staying here. Rooms are on the smaller side but so well designed that you have enough space for any occasion (although would struggle with large suitcases). Rooms: the bed wasn't very comfortable but large enough for both of us to have ample space (although we are both quite petite - my 6ft+ brother in law would have struggled!). The bathroom was very clean and great amenities, Rituals, that take the stress of packing toiletries out of our packing essentials! The view was amazing and even though we faced out to Pyrmont Bridge, it was extremely quiet. Another nice touch was the water provided, still and sparkling, in the room and dispensers in the hall way for top ups... Location: on the steps of Darling Harbour so very close to the ICC, lots of restaurants and varrs and they have a $40 overnight arrangement with Wilson parking opposite the hotel. Service: friendly service...really friendly! I was also blessed to watch award winning Australian artist Jess Let Clerc at work... Would recommend staying here for a night or two...

This hotel is super convenient to Darling Harbour. Staff are attentive and go the extra mile for guests I would definitely recommend this place for a stay. There are a couple of things to be aware of, I stayed in one of the smaller rooms and if you are a big person this can be challenging. The lack of much external light in the room also adds to the claustrophobia. Otherwise a lovely stay for a business traveller.

Brilliant, so good. Staff are professional and considerate 👏🏼 . Great location and super comfy beds. Rooms can be small but well set up. Very quiet in room 512 although can hear through the door. A minor problem. As the hotel is a cozy size.

Food 10stars. Coffee 10stars. Service 10stars. We flew in from Perth on the red eye and landed at 6am. We got to the hotel around 830am hoping to drop our bags off and occupy ourselves in Darling Harbour until the 2pm check in. The lovely lady gave us the best news and said our room is ready, if we want to head up at no extra cost. We have rebooked for our next SYD trip. TS Highly Recommended

I had a fantastic time during my stay at Aiden Hotel. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure that all of our needs were met. The rooms were immaculately clean and the ideal size for a weekend getaway. The amenities were of the highest quality, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel's location is perfect - situated away from the bustling streets so that noise isn't an issue, yet still within walking distance of all the main attractions in Sydney. If you ever find yourself in Sydney, I highly recommend giving this hotel a try!

Absolutely loved my stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff were so kind and the room was beautiful. Stayed in a street view queen as a solo traveler and it was incredibly comfortable. Rooms are compact, but I had zero problems with the size. Nespresso machine in the room and still + sparkling water on every floor! The location was also GREAT, very easy to get around. 100% recommend!!

This hotel is in a great location for access to Darling Harbour & walk across Pyrmont bridge to the city. The rooms are compact but have everything you need & very comfortable & clean. The shower was great. The staff are really friendly & the bar area is nice. The food was good. I will stay again. I stayed here when I attended the Good Food & Wine Show at the ICC.

Like said in other comments, the room is small yet flow is good. Maybe too small for 2 but perfect for solo travelers. I had the chance to have a view in the Pyrmont bridge which was lovely. I much appreciated the little details of the room, and the overall style of the hotel. Everything was on point.

What a perfect place to stay from the moment you walk through the front door you know its going to be beautiful...the front staff were so friendly and happy to help, the room is cosy but attention to detail was fantastic! Close to everything my daughter and I went to the Lyric Theatre for a show and it was just around the corner. Dyson hairdryers in the room were a big treat, spring and still water stations on each floor was a lovely touch. Breakfast downstairs this morning was delicious. We will be back and I have told everyone what a special little gem this Boutique Hotel is thank you Aiden Hotel for the perfect stay.

Nice location in Darling Harbour, easy check in, friendly staff. Comfortable amenities in room. Only negative - room is truly snug. Would be reasonable for a solo traveler, too small for 2. A bit stuffy overnight - needed the balcony door open. Curtains crowded/covered the bedside table as room so narrow. Comfy bed, TV works well and user friendly, nice to have a balcony, shower works well - again smaller size so whole floor gets wet.

Fantastic experience at the Aiden Hotel Darling Harbour. From the moment you walk-in you are greeted by friendly staff. The reception follows through to the bar and lounge area which creates a very relaxing vibe. The rooms do seem a little small, however the layout flows perfectly. The bathrooms are ideal. I'll have no hesitation rebooking or sending my clients they're in the future. Perfectly located between Pyrmont and Darling Harbour. I found it easy to walk to the ICC, have dinner in Darling Harbour then walk to the star.

The Aiden hotel is a beautiful hotel which Is new and in a great position in Darling Harbour opposite Sydney museum. The rooms are beautiful and are cleaned every day, the staff are fantastic and deliver great customer service. It's literally a ten minute walk into Sydney city George Street. Although there is one thing I didn't like and that is the price of extras like the restaurant or bar and washing your clothing which I thought would be part of being a hotel guest but I was wrong as it's charged separately and it's expensive, each piece of clothing is charged instead of a load so it would of cost nearly $200 for a load of washing. I couldn't use tjo

Myself and my partner stayed over the weekend and was wonderfully suprised with this beautiful hotel. When we originally planned to stay here we were a bit worried about the size of the room from the description but upon arriving to our room found that the layout made it feel soooo much more spacious. We do not enjoy driving to Sydney and loved how close the hotel is to the trams and made taking public transport super simple. We loved our stay and will definitely be back in the futute :)

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. We were booked in for the lower category queen room (a corner room) but we found it to be too small. After speaking to the reception, they moved us to a better room (queen room with city view) - fantastic service there! Overall, the hotel is beautifully appointed and well thought out despite being on the “compact” size. Everything feels detailed and serves a great purpose; like the Dyson hairdryers (over typical hotel type ones), the steam iron (in place of a regular one + iron board), and even the still/sparkling water refill station on every level! Great functionality is not limited by poor design here, every inch of this hotel is tasteful in design and architecture. Plus, each room has a cute custom floral mural! We would give 5/5 however there were a few snags in our room (303 or 301?). The shower head control knob was broken and stuck in the middle. So we would have water flowing from both the overhead rain shower and the handheld shower head. Plus, the exhaust fan was not working in the bathroom at all. Our room would just fill up in steam and become very humid. Hopefully these are all small fixes! Hoping to come back again (soon) and leave a perfect review next time! Also, the hotel is in a great location. Conveniently in front of Pyrmont Bridge and the ferry pier - all of Sydney’s major attractions can be accessed from here!

Great location and close to all the places we visited over the weekend. The room was small, but very well-furnished. Checking in was easy and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Service and staff were really good and friendly. This is a must-visit hotel when visiting Sydney. I am definitely planning to come back and stay and enjoy its location and views. 200% recommend to stay or at least check out whats available😆

Stayed for one night, but it was great. Bathrooms are modern and sleek. Bed was as comfy as a cloud and the block out blinds are so good I didn't realise I'd slept in. Complimentary water and sparkling mineral water was a super great addition and I loved that. Bar wasn't over priced down stairs. Not to mention the nice little surprise view we had.

We had a great time at Aiden Darling Harbour! The stuff is very friendly and always here for you. The rooms (we had one in the upper building with view on the city, so a little more expensive) are not very big, but the available space in Sydney is restricted I think. But the bed was comfortable, everything looked new, you can have free water at any time and there is a coffee machine in the room. Overall a very modern room. For the first time in 5 weeks, we had good quality toilet paper🤣🤣 We loved to stay here!

I’ve just recently returned home from my very enjoyable stay at Aiden Darling Harbour. It was absolutely evident that the hotel is new- My room was very clean and modern, decorated nicely, had great amenities, beautiful toiletry products, and most importantly, a very comfortable bed! If using a third party site, this hotel ends up being one of the cheaper options. I would happily stay again :)

We had a perfect stay at Aiden Darling Harbour. Every little detail has been thought of in this brand new hotel to make staying here a dream; from the contactless check-in, Dyson hairdryers, gin menu, to the delightful staff who would treat every guest like a VIP. We look forward to staying here again in the heart of Darling Harbour!

Excellent stay The room was small but very well set out with everything you would need so it didn't feel too crowded Lovely bathroom - very clean and with great amenities - even a Dyson hairdryer. Comfy beds, great location and very friendly staff. It was a really nice touch having filtered and sparkling water on tap for guests in the hallway. Would definitely stay again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, The rooms were nice and Dyson hair dryers were plus, I wasn't expecting that. The beds were a little high for a short person like me but somehow I like it. I will definitely be back again next time.

Our stay at Aidem Hotel in Darling Harbour, Sydney was fantastic. The staff are so welcoming and can't do enough for you. It's within walking distance to many places. Food is delicious, room's beautifully clean. I would recommend this Hotel 🏩 to people wanting to visit Sydney. Will love to stay here again

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Lots of thought around the details, from filtered water on each floor, steamers in the bedroom, Dyson hairdryer and lovely products in the shower. Plus a comfy bed! Close to the light rail and ferry stop or walk across the bridge to the city or darling harbour. All the staff were kind and helpful and went above and beyond. The assistant manager helped us over our stay, even looking up possible restaurants for us. We will definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed my stay here, rooms are small but everything is brand new, and love the artsy touch and fancy shampoo. Staff were super helpful. It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re out about and exploring the city.

Excellent place to stay. Close to all transport. We purchased Opal seniors passes /card and it only cost us a total of $15.00 each on all the public transport for the 9 days. Went for Vivid Syney and drove from Melbourne but did not use the car once. Most places were in walking distance even for us oldies. Staff were always happy and obliging. City view room was small but was OK for the 2 of us for 9 days. Enough room to store our cases etc. We were on floor 3 and had a view of the city exactly as picured on the web site. Not sure about the lower rooms view as there was a big tree at the front of the building. A small work area and lounge located adjacent to the breakfast / dining area was useful if you needed to do some work. Breakfast menu was not extensive but adequate for most people with both hot and cold available and reasonably priced. Snacks were available all day. The coffee was good. Room was clean with tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was a good size and I give it 9/10 for cleanliness. We thought this place was a bit of a hidden gem and would definitely stay again. We would have liked to hire bikes as there are numerous bike trails and the electric bike hire is easy but most of the bikes had no helemts. We recommend taking your own helmet if you wish to casual hire a bike.

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful, clean rooms. Stayed in the “small room” which is perfect for a night right in the city. It was very cosy but fine for a couple. Great service from the staff who checked us in especially Brittany. We absolutely loved the on tap still and sparkling water on each floor. So smart! A hotel truly doing something to reduce waste there as well as the large bottles of bathroom products as opposed to single use bottles. Highly recommend.

Yes the room and service from the Staff was very good, staff very friendly and very helpful, food very nice and prices good easily to get around. But the cleaning staff do need to learn how to clean a bathroom, I say this as I’m a cleaner. Overall very pleased, thank you for a great stay

We had an incredible stay with Aiden Darling Harbour. The staff were absolutely incredible. They were super helpful, always accomodating and really took care of every little detail (including rushing our checkin because we were running late to lunch, room accomodations, lunch recommendations). Literally every request we made was responded with a “Yes!” The rooms were clean, perfectly compact, well thought out and had more amenities than other hotels above this range. We booked 5 rooms and everyone absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend a stay here! You cannot go wrong!

This hotel is in a great location & is clean & the staff are great, however the room we stayed in was TINY. (Queen with corner street view) The bed was up against the wall on one side & there was no room at the end of the bed as part of that was against the front curved wall too so the person sleeping next to the wall had to climb over the other person to get out during the night & there was no bedside tables or anywhere to put anything you might want next to your bed, ie a drink of water. There was nowhere to sit because the tiny bench seat attached to the wall was barely big enough for a child. There was barely any storage room for us to put our luggage, toiletries etc And my husband & I had to keep shuffling past each other in the morning trying to get ready. This room might have been okay for a single person but was definitely not big enough for two people to stay in.

I absolutely love this place, feels like a home away from home. I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, but this would have to be in my top 5. It doesn't have big flash pools, Bentley's parked in the foyer or enormous rooms, but what it does have is what you need, and nothing more. Exceptional service, excellent coffee, delectable breakfasts and comfortable rooms. I have stayed here twice in the last fortnight and on each occasion was warmly welcomed and looked after by the staff. Particular thanks to Ruby, Livia, Mayco, and Brittany, these guys are the cherry on top for the experience.

My husband and I stayed at this fantastic new hotel on a Sunday night. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by the lovely Katharina, who to our surprise upgraded us to a Deluxe Room with amazing views overlooking the city and Darling Harbour. The room was beautifully presented, with sophisticated finishes, obviously designed with the greatest of care to maximise comfort within a small space. The bed was extremely comfortable, so fresh and clean. The room contained so many unexpected extras from the double glazed windows with the block out blinds to a hand held steamer and full size bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in a well laid out Bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was had in the combined lobby, bar, café and kitchen area downstairs – such a lovely atmosphere. The staff were kind and attentive throughout. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have re booked, this time for a 3-day return stay. Highly recommend.

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at The Aiden. Nothing was to much trouble for Michael and his staff. Awesome bed (I even asked for it to be shipped to my house)/shower/view. Thank you for a great anniversary/holiday.

  • 5/5 Jane B. 1 year ago on Google
The fabulous location and comfortable, impeccably clean, modern interior more than compensated for the lack of space in the room. We had to be creative with luggage storage but, on the positive side, the bed was extremely comfortable and all fittings were high quality. More advance information as to the method for parking would have saved us some stress upon arrival. Once it was sorted, all worked perfectly. We stayed 2 days on our way from Brisbane to Sydney and are looking forward to repeating the experience on our return journey.

We have staying in Sydney a few times now but with Airbnb prices rising and minimum cost of a hotel room $300+ per night we looked around. It could not be closer to the city and it's lovely to come out and be in the open air on the bridge not sandwiched between buildings. The hotel is lovely great reception and staff. Like all over reviews it is very snug (smaller than some Japanese hotels we stayed in) for a few days it's perfect couldn't go a week and if you have large luggage I'm not sure where you could store it. However the bathrooms are large and have everything there is a Dyson hairdryer, steam iron - which works amazing. Coffee pod machine and lots of choice of tea and hot chocolate plus a sparkling and still tap on each floor. The beds too are really really comfortable probably the best mattress I've slept on for years considering it was a double or queen. We would stay again for a short trip. Consideration has gone Into the layout of each room with some beautiful artwork too.

An awesome experience and tick all the boxes. My business got awarded and the ceremony was at the Star which is very close to this hotel. We just wanted a good location and comfy bed at night. The morning reception staff was very nice and emanated a beautiful energy that shows she loves her job. I love when people do their job better and makes the customer journey a pleasure one
