I’ve stayed at the QT hotel 5 times in the last 12 months it’s definitely my favourite hotel in Australia. Their rooms and amenities are amazing. Service is great. My recent stay there was a small oversight and Sarah and Meg went above and beyond to rectify it and ensure the hotel lives by its great customer service. Great accountability! Thank you for your hospitality.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve been to in Australia ! The thing about hotels they all have a holiday vibe about them. Walking into an amazing foyer in awe while your smell gets filled with the refreshing fragrant hotel smell. However, what makes QT different is their quirky decor and their fun and bubbly team. Every time we walked past the front desk someone will say hello and ask you how your days was. When you went out there would be people at the door dressed in colour clothes greeting you. And if you manage to catch one of them in the elevator they would swipe you up to your room. And the best! They’ll dance with you 💃 🕺. Their short 15 second short clips of hot pop songs brings you into a groove and that what makes the place FUN ! As you walk out of the elevator you think someone is talking to you but that’s just part of the experience. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is right at your finger tips. If you wanted a morning coffee and some breakfast you could go down stairs. If you wanted a alcoholic beverage you head to Gowings at level 1 and even if you wanted lunch or dinner you had that option too! QT, my partner and I loved our stayed ! You’ll be our GO TO every time we are in Sydney. Thank you for a memorable experience and all the fun you created for us ❤️

Staff were so lovely from the moment they saw me at the door with my bag. I was upgraded with my room and the quirkiness of the hotel and design of the rooms was great. The antithesis of a sterile business hotel room and exactly the escape I needed. Loved the big bath and bathroom products. Considering the hotel's location I didn't hear any noise from surrounding rooms or the city. Will definitely be back!

This was the most lovely experience I have had so far with any hotel I've stayed in. The staff is legitimately, genuinely friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The beds are comfy. The bathroom is spacious. Everything was a 10/10 from start to finish. The Kevin Murphy products are a very great touch! Pure Luxury!

Quite possibly the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at. Super funky decor and heaps of fun. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and close to everything. You can walk everywhere. My room was a good size and the bathroom was generous. There was even a free standing small bathtub. I did have one occasion where my towels were not replaced on one of the three nights I stayed which I had to request but was provided straight away. It's ready to have a hotel that has floorboards in the rooms. It was nice to see. However, this did mean that if you have neighbours next to you or above with heavy feet or noisy shoes, you will be able to hear them. I did question whether the room was vacuumed throughout my stay, however, as the same dust bunnies were in the same pedestrian areas in my room the entire time. Overall though, I would definitely come back.

Staying at the QT Sydney, you're welcomed by a unique fusion of two historic buildings, the State Theatre and Gowings department store. It's a quirky but elegant experience steeped in Sydney's history. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-stocked mini bar adding a nice touch, although some minor amenities were missing. The view into the Dior office was an interesting surprise! Staff, donned in French-themed costumes, were efficient but could have been more personable. The cost is on the higher side, but given the unique ambiance and room size, it's justified. Despite not using the spa, gym, and dining facilities, it's great knowing they're available. The hotel was clean throughout. Service could have been more memorable, particularly from the concierge. However, the charm and character of QT Sydney make it worth considering for future stays. Overall, I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

I was in awe of this hotel. They have really done justice to the building and it’s history. Every nook and cranny is beautifully curated and the fit out is very luxurious. Our room was well appointed and the staff were incredible. Best service we have received in years. This hotel is a piece of art.

Didn't stay here, but had the plant-based high tea. The hotel is very trendy and modern from the decor to the presentation and the food itself. I had to wait a bit for the person I was meeting with to arrive as they couldn't figure out the correct entrance to the hotel, but thankfully the staff weren't pushy about the set seating times. The food was great, but it did get a bit confusing. I had some different menu items based on dietary requirements and we couldn't always figure out which ones were mine on sight alone. Staff were helpful, though

Let's start with the cons: There aren't any!!! The pros: - Fantastic location - Amazing service - Super nice staff - Big rooms - Big bath - Great restaurant - Great bar The experience was excellent and it was a breath of fresh air to stay at a place like that. We truly loved it and we felt very relaxed and revitalized leaving this hotel.

Loved my stay - I had a business lunch in the George room so decided to stay on site as I had to travel in from out of town. Very quirky hotel loved the fact the room was seriously dark and decorated with weird and wonderful items. Staff were exceptional! The only thing I would change is a complimentary bottle of water in room but that's not a biggie.

Great stay, very comfortable & appreciated room upgrade. Hotel is back in form after the impact COVID had on hospitality. Drinks & snacks at bar were excellent. Location is always an advantage at the QT Sydney.

Have stayed in many hotels in Sydney and QT is the best by far. QT Hotel has heaps of character, and all the staff are down to earth and friend, which makes you feel at home and it is in a great location. We booked an executive king for 3 nights, were upgraded to a junior suite. The room was large with huge windows and was very comfortable to stay for 3 nights. Absolutely no complaints. The hotel was so convenient with Chemist Warehouse and convenience store around the corner. Close to all the city shops. Will definitely stay there every time we visit Sydney now. Love this hotel!!

Thanks to everyone at QT Sydney, you really made my night, helpful, friendly and courteous. A lovely comfortable place to stay with a great bar. I was very stressed from driving in Sydney I never have before, the valet parking took care of me and was just a really lovely guy, reception super helpful, bar staff really great. I had to check out really early because of work commitments and nothing was a problem for the staff. I will definitely stay again but this time I'll go by train 👍

Super spacious rooms, clean and very aesthetically done up ! I enjoyed my stay there. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a very comfortable one ! The location is awesome! It has everything a tourist would look forward to- restaurants, cafes, shopping, transportation connectivity, convenience stores etc. Westfield Sydney Eye tower is practically diagonally opposite QT and is only 5 minutes walk. It's also very near to Darling harbour and Opera House ( 15-20 minutes by walk) it also has tram service just around the corner. Ideal place to stay if you're visiting Sydney.

My daughter booked one night as a birthday present. I loved the quirky hotel, especially the bathtub. The reception staff were absolutely lovely and courteous. You don't need to leave the hotel, everything is available in one place. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or just a quick drink at the bar. I highly recommend this hotel for a short city break or just a romantic night.

We really enjoyed the hotel and its quirkiness, the staff were wonderful from arrival until departure, so friendly and fun. All the little details that the QT has, such as the disco music in the lifts, all sorts of art, little touches that made our stay special.

Great customer service from the moment I reached out by email to the moment we checked out. Special memtion to Emily in Res Department. The whole team from walking in front door, checking in, breakfast team and the night crew whom unlocked our room safe. Well done. Amazing room's well presented, great amenities. Loved our stay.

Location is literally the best in the city, The restaurant is award winning and the spa is out of this world. Above all, the service is what makes this place. BEST staff ever. Really funky and quirky and really in line with the hotel. They have really cool girls outside that really make this hotel fun. There was a girl with a mohawk and she was exceptional. It's not a hotel, it's an experience.

Very quirky, cool hotel in a super central location with modern decor. Bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had. Staff really friendly and helpful, even gave me some free drinks for my birthday. The restaurant does great food too. Only downside is the bathtub is not big enough for most people.

Very hip, very trendy, and a most excellent location! The service was over the top, and they accommodated us perfectly and made us feel welcome. The room was especially large, with an amazing bathroom. Definitely a good place to stay if you want to be within walking distance to everything.

Stopped in on a wet Tuesday evening for some a sneaky cocktail and some bar nibbles before dinner. Even though they were super busy, the staff were friendly and approachable. The Tathra oysters I had were freshly open and just as amazing as when I get them straight from the farm (20 mins away from my home). The olives were a tasty mix and the Whisky Sour amazing. Highly recommend for a lone dinner (like me) or couples and groups

This hotel is a must stay. From the greeting on the street to the elegant reception and the amazing room. QT has turned a timeless building to a timeless experience! Convenient location Don't forget to stop off at the bar!

Gorgeous and quirky hotel. Rooms are stunning and the spacious bathrooms are a stand out. Love the mix of staff. Excellent in room dining. Rooms feel unique, luxe and cosy, no cookie cutter hotel experience here.

Location is so fantastic if you want to stay right in the city and have that city experience. The hotel is lovely and the rooms are nice. The service being checked in was great. However, I called for ice 4x I stayed there and it only showed up once. Hey guys, get an ice machine might be easier? Other than that. I’d actually stay again for sure. It was nice to stay at a more boutique style hotel, something a bit different. Look forward to my next visit.

Amazing hotel, great location. Everything was perfect. Shout out to Bailey on the front desk who was an absolute professional even though we were quite demanding guests. What a gem he is.

The QT Hotel has done it again! We found this boutique hotel chain during our visit to Melbourne and love the unique decor and vibe that each space offers. The QT hotel Sydney did not disappoint. We were greeted with the same, quality service, cleanliness and decor. Sam, helped us secure a dinner reservation in the area and the staff in the lobby bar whipped up a delicious cocktail as we settled in for the night. I highly recommend this hotel if your planning a staycation or few days away.

Incredible weekend. The staff were absolutely fantastic in every way. The room was good but there is so much to do at this hotel you don’t want to just stay in your room. The DJ in the bar/restaurant was good and added a great vibe. We will certainly be back again.

Absolutely love the Sydney QT. I always recommend my friends to stay here. It’s such a funky place and the staff are so incredible who make you feel welcome from the second you walk in. Sarah went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. The hotel and rooms and fantastic but it’s the staff that truly make it.

Our time in FOREVER visiting Sydney. We were very much out of practice going to airport and hotels but we were at ease as soon as we got to the QT. The staff, facilities and rooms were top notch in all respects. Made to feel welcome at each point. Such an awesome stay.

Overall an excellent stay. My partner booked a room which was initially a bit too dark. The staff swapped us immediately to a nice bright room. The main restaurant was closed but the wine bar downstairs was cool. The street it’s on doesn’t make it easy for customers to load/unload bags but the concierge team are fantastic to assist. The service was great and it made our stay. Next time, I’d love to stay when it’s a bit busier and everything is open.

The staff at QT went above and beyond to ensure my daughter and I enjoyed every second of our mini vaycay together. Staff surprised my daughter with a lovely birthday treat which made her day, so incredibly thoughtful and greatly appreciated. We were given advice on what to do whilst on our stay and were always welcomed with a joyous energy that we carried with us. We will be back! Thankyou.

The service was great at reception. The service was great in the cafe. The service was great in the spa. The service was great in the bar and the service was great in the restaurant. Did I say the service was great? This hotel is great and the people working there are really fantastic. Hat off after COVID to provide such exceptional service.

All the staff were amazing. Check in was easy, rooms were nice, clean and quiet. Willow on the front desk was so lovely and welcoming. My daughter and I had a wonderful time and felt very special. The hotel is in the perfect location for shopping, museums and great restaurants. We will definitely be staying there again.

Such a beautiful hotel with quirky and cool designs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over 6 nights - thanks to the super friendly QT team. They have all been brilliant right from the check-in, warmly welcoming us back and giving helpful tips and directions. The room itself is comfy and warm, with lovely touches such as a super plush bathrobe. I also love the QT app, it’s super easy to order in-room dining or even request for amenities or room cleaning in just a few clicks. Location is also fab, just in the heart of the CBD where it’s easy to walk or take the train/light rail anywhere. QT Sydney is simply the best place to stay in the city.

Fantastic place to stay. The staff are fun, friendly and make you feel so welcomed that your smiling from the moment you arrive. The rooms are wonderfully furnished and you have everything you need from teas and coffees to full spa treatments or a haircut. We will definitely be visiting again whenever we're in the city. Thank you all for making our stay a memorable one

Lovely staff greeting you at the door. Art Deco/vaudeville themed hotel, which was very groovy! The room sizes are lovely, and the beds are super comfy. Great bar downstairs for small bites and coffee or wine

I stayed with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. The room was amazing, quiet, clean and comfortable. I loved being so close to everything, the shops, museums and restaurants. The staff were all wonderful and made my daughter feel very special with a gift. Thanks QT, we will definitely stay again next time we are in SYD

For my first 5 star hotel experience I was truly left disappointed. Staff barely acknowledged me, my room LOOKED nice but it hadn’t had a proper clean in so long, it was super dusty and there were random hairs in the bathtub. It also bothered me that everything had a price tag, the price you pay you would think they could afford to give you a welcome drink for free - upon further inspection it came with a $26 price tag. Welcome… but you have to pay for it. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Absolutely 5-star worthy! Stayed just for a night with my mum visiting in from Adelaide, and everything was pure perfection. Room service was super efficient, and the amenities were lovely - especially the provided Dyson hairdryer! Staff were very friendly and genuinely happy to help, they let us delay our checkout by an hour. Will be recommending for sure!

The most incredible customer service and an amazing historic and beautiful venue. Willow and Andy on reception and at the front door were the most lovely and welcoming hosts. They went above and beyond to make my stay highly enjoyable and comfortable. Just stayed one night for business but will 100% be back and highly recommend. Great location! =)

We chose QT Sydney for our accomodation for our wedding and the moment we stepped foot in the place, we have been in awe and so happy with our choice. The staff have gone above and beyond to make us feel special. The attention to detail is impeccable. We even had breakfast downstairs and that was so delicious! I could not recommend QT enough. Our experience has lived up to the reviews we read and we’re so grateful to have had the experience we have had. Thank you QT for making our stay and the beginning of our marriage a memorable one.

The hotel staff were amazing from the valet, to floor staff to bar staff. The room was spotless, comfortable and luxurious. Amenities spot on expectations. Bar downstairs was a brilliant way to finish the night. Check out was simple and painless. Didn't go to the restaurant on this visit, but will do so when we stay there again. Definitely worth every dollar spent. The bed was perfect, felt like a cloud. Cant say enough about how much of a great night we had staying there.

Quirky hotel with a theatrical feel. Love the lift music & porters dressed up. Creating a really unique ambience which we loved. Only complaint is the rooms are so dimly lit it was difficult to do makeup! It would be great if the bathroom had the option of being brighter.

Easily the best experience me and the missus have had at a hotel. Booked the corner suite for a 2 night stay and was really impressed with it all. From the unique interior design + decor, friendly concierge and receptionists and overall fun vibe, we had a very nice stay. I casually mentioned that this stay was for the celebration of our anniversary to the receptionist, and we came back to our room after being out and about to be welcomed by roses and a box of chocolates 🥺. Will be back soon, thanks guys!

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make my weekend absolutely amazing. Their attention to detail, can do attitude and professionalism was matched by the wonderful room, in room dining and Uber cool environment. If I could award 100 stars I would. An extra mention for the fabulous Sarah Jane (hope I’ve got the name right!) on reception for taking so much time to make my stay so wonderful. Icing on the cake was the best coffee in Sydney too. Do yourself a favour and stay here!

Wow! From the moment we arrived this place has something special! Staff were friendly and ever so helpful. Location is perfect if you are a first timer to Sydney. The rooms were clean, fitted with the right amenities and a really comfy bed. Then there is the decor! Wow wow wow! Even the lift is amazing and plays a range of music, the best parts of lots of songs. Thank you for making our trip so much better. We will be back!

Great location, staff terrific, a funky cool and moody style. Loved all of this. But the room (Exec King) really let the hotel down. Seriously dark with the lighting totally inadequate, desk lamp too dim do had to use the bed to look at work. Just the one small window did nothing. Dark tiling in the bathroom not a good thing - every mark stands out making it a housekeeping nightmare. Noisy drain takes 15 minutes to clear. Housekeeping standard I am sorry to say was poor - dust everywhere with some dust caked on it was that hold. Mini bar fridge had a full width hunk of solid ice, badly in need of defrosting. At $400 per night with a high reputation, it was really disappointing. Rooms do need lifting whilst the attention to detail also needs a serious focus.
