We stayed here on the 29th for two nights. The rooms definitely need an upgrade as the carpet was coming up, the kitchen joinery was falling apart. The upside was that the rooms were clean and tidy. Try and stay away from the Shelly Street side if you are staying on the weekend because you can hear the music and base from the club across the road all night. On a positive note, the night manager was extremely polite and helpful, and the hotel is a stones throw away from darling habour.

The location is spot on with easy access to the harbour and attractions but far enough to avoid the noise and crowds. The quality of the rooms however is poor with issues like damaged carpets, cracked bathtubs/showers causing water to escape on the floor, minimal cooking utensils, etc. While service was good when you asked for it, things like washing powder etc you had to go to the desk and collect it yourself. Not the 4 stars they indicate.

The location is great and staff are friendly but the hotel is extremely run down and tired. The plastic on the light switches is yellowing, cupboards hag open and dodgy repairs to the room are obvious. At $390 a night this is comparable to much newer hotels in the CBD which are much better maintained.

The location was great. And the staff were lovely. However, the room was not very clean, dust over the TV and doors. The flooring was very old, uneven and very worn. Carpet was wrinkled and not maintained. Clumps of hair and dust found throughout the room. We ended up checking out the same day we checked in. Not worth the money at all.

We had interconnecting rooms for our stay and they were both visibly unclean. Sheets had hair on them, bathrooms had obviously not been cleaned with marks in one of the toilets and both had dirty basins. The rooms felt damp. Very unpleasant stay, we will not be back.

Poorly maintained building looks like the room was last painted 10 years ago, the bed looks like it is 20 years old, dirty bathroom and the whole room smells stale. Room appointments are bordering on archaic with at best 1990's decor . The room size itself is great but with a lot of empty space like they can't afford furniture. Not even an arm chair to sit in, just the choice of an uncomfortable desk chair or the bed.

The service! The customer service here is exactly what you expect and hope for coming from the hotel industry. They are very professional and courteous doing anything to make your stay easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Darling Harbour area. After being treated so poorly at another hotel in Sydney, this place quickly understood our predicament and did what they could to support us. Very happy to see there is still good service available

The location is fantastic, great views of Darling Harbour and central to restaurants and activities nearby. There was a hiccup with our room when we first checked in - the room wasn’t finished being cleaned and the bed wasn’t made, however the lovely receptionist Sarah was considerate and accomodating, even providing a free upgrade without hassle.

Nice big, clean rooms. The only slight issue which is why i gave 3 for service was that I had 1 saucepan and an oven with no oven trays, so it meant I had to go out and buy oven trays to cook food. Nice views from certain rooms. I did, however, seem to be constantly back and forward to reception because my key card kept malfunctioning, which seemed to be a common problem for other guests who were stood waiting for the same reason on quiet a few occasions. Overall a nice place to stay.

3 Days ago I looked up all websites this hotel is advertised on the prices for the dates I wanted which were check in Sat 03.06.23 - check out Sun 04.06.23 the prices online were nothing over $300.00 BUT...All the Rooms were listed as 'UNAVAILABLE'!! Now I check thinking if there are any cancellations that may have occurred since last check and WOW there are now rooms AVAILABLE but nothing under $400.00 - $700.00 What a Rip Off I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it is def not worth $700.00

Cost value is very good for what you get. Just a few minor details hinder me from giving it a 5th star, a real shame because I really like the 2nd room we had requested. Namely there were no extra blankets therefore had to keep the heater on all night......couldn't use their WiFi it did not recognise me as a guest not big issues however attention to small things make the good things Great. I will stay here again.

I was not a guest but was in an emergency and asked for urgent help to park my car at Adina Barrangaroo. I was willing to pay whetever the cost but the reception refused assistance. Not a nice experience.

Location was central and very quiet thanks to the double glazed windows. We weren't disturbed by the traffic at night despite being close to a main road. Service was exceptional. Josefina went above and beyond, making sure my Mum (who speaks very little English) felt looked after and welcomed. The rooms were clean and tidy. Showers could use an upgrade, but they were in good working order. The room had some nice extras like a hairdryer and a safe inside. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

Shower could use some maintenance and descaling of the shower head. Fridge needed to be turned way down as froze everything placed within. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful!

Great location. Locate near aquarium side of Darling Harbour. Parking available for $49, entrance in small lane at back of building bit plenty of signs telling you where to go.

A great location, and the staff are great. Is a little dated, but is due for a renovation in the near future. The only thing stopping me from giving a 5 star rating was an issue we had with the air con freezing over and leaking into the bathroom - not a lot of communication between maintenance and reception, or the night staff. Having said that, we would happily go back and stay again.

Value for money. Great location right next to Sea Life. Hotel staff were super-helpful and friendly. No issues at all with cleanliness. Everything that related to our comfort was top class. I find it therefore even hard to consider the cons. The cons are that the hotel building externally is covered with traffic soot on one side. The internal carpet is showing the signs of wear and tear. However, if you use the pool and gym, they seemed to be new.

Superb option near Darling Harbour. Easy walking to multiple key shops, restaurants, and sights in Sydney. Hotel offers 1BR suites at a reasonable price compared to the major hotel brands. Breakfast restaurant is adjacent and offers delivery to room. We have stayed here previously and it is now our go-to option in downtown and harbour areas.

Excellent. Perfect location. Helpful Staff. Fast Elevators. Balcony had water views across harbour. Watched Fireworks. Spacious apartment, separate bedroom. User friendly kitchen. Huge bathroom and Laundry in a cupboard. Spotless. Very close to stops for Hop On/Off Red Bus, Local Buses, Ferries. Next to Convenience Stores & Cellars, famous Slip Inn.

Friendly efficient staff upon check-in Easy Parking, good sized area. In room Hotel info out dated and incorrect NO AC - Air-Con so full of dust it doesn’t work. Unhealthy, revoltingly unclean. Not all TV channels work. Tired and desperately in need of updating. Won’t be back.

I'm a regular customer here. I was booked a few times. Rooms are huge and clean. Staff were very nice and friendly. Everytime I leave my luggage due to my unexpected deployment trips, they are keeping it safe for weeks. Thank you!!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower was over the bath which was dangerous for everyone with disabilities. Overall helpful staff was friendly and helpful. The cafe attached to the motel had wonderful food 10 out of 10.

For the price I was quite shocked about the condition of the room. Old and dated. Balcony which is locked has bird droppings all over it. No fresh air. Shower vent has dust hanging from it. Needs a drastic update. Would not stay here again.

Room was not ready at 3pm as advertised. Staff were unable to know when the room would be ready. Poor communication with cleaning staff. They told us we just had to wait. Good location. Also, I would not recommend this for elderly people as there is only a shower/bath combination and the bath was quite curvy - There was a high chance you could fall.

Unfortunately when lifting the sheets to get into bed, we discovered a large, dried blood stain. This pretty much ruined our experience and makes me doubt the cleanliness and hygiene levels overall here, although the staff on-site at the time were great & swapped our room (however after firstly telling us they couldn’t and didn’t offer to change our sheets).

We Would recommend this place... fantastic apartments... close to everything .... Service was fantastic... only wish they would up grade bathrooms??? Please No Climing into bath tub for a shower ?? Other than that it would have been 5 stars can't wait for our next stay

Accommodating and considerate throughout our stay and great advice! Excellent shower pressure. Mildly pricey but you get what you pay for. Clean rooms (scratchy sheets/blankets) and EXCELLENT location.

Walking distance to Darling Harbour. Clean neat and tidy rooms. Excellent service, very helpful staff who goes out of the way to help you out. Special thanks to Hassan who helped me find a car space for two days when it was fully booked. Highly recommended.

We stayed overnight in a studio room after a Vivid Sydney Lights harbour cruise. Staff at Reception were welcoming, helpful and professional. Our room was spacious and clean with a balcony and a view over Darling Harbour. Cafe at Ground Floor level was convenient for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the King St Wharf area
