I went to Marrickville Woolworths on a Thursday with my kids to do some shopping, when i couldn't find an item I have asked a Woolworths staff member at the front counter if they could assist me in finding the item i was looking for. They said they could help me but in what I found was a rude manner, they started speaking under their breath in what i could only assume was maybe Indonesian. I will not be returning to this store due to this staff member's disrespectfulness.

Personal recommendation: try the international foods aisle! There are some amazing and unique bargains for you to try! The international foods are always a talking point! - Lovely Woolworths with a huge variety of products, easily one of the best grocery stores in Marrickville if not the best. The car park is a little run down and doesn’t smell that great but it’s easy to park on the street. Just watch your trolley because the floors are slightly uneven and the trolley may decide to run away from you. Staff are very friendly.

The older women working on the front counter are extremely rude. Purchased something in the wrong colour and wanted a refund within 5mins of the purchase and was so poorly spoken to about the refund policy (which is lousy for such a large company in Australia that they can’t offer change of mind within 5mins, we all make mistakes), staff finally agreed to refund me, but they instead charged me again. Took even more time out of my day chasing the double charge. Awful experience.

It is good but I was in need to go to the toilet and the staff wasn't polite to me so I had to do on the street, when you get older things changed in your life if you know what I meant 🤔

Sometimes it can be hard to park, but Woolies always has what you need. Great opening hours and fresh fruit and veges. There is also a bottle shop on site.

Friendly very helpful staff. In particular Chris who always willingly helps me locate odd items. Great variety of products that I can't find in my local woolies.

No staff members can pack a bag. 3rd time its happened, they overload everything to the point its not able to be carried, items bursting out etc while im telling them to stop packing so much in over and over.

3 out of 12 registers open, it’s great Woolies wants to automate their stores and stop paying staff to checkout customers with trolley loads however perhaps they should have bigger more efficient self service checkouts. The current system employed by Woolies is absolutely ridiculous, unexpected item in bagging area, item doesn’t weigh, only 2 bags in bagging area. Waiting 20 minutes to buy your groceries is a bit much… Time to seriously improve the customer experience or perhaps get the executive team down to help serve the customers who pay your wages?

I've given this supermarket 5 stars for its location. Close to bus stops and train station is a short walk away. Product range, availability and prices are on par with other supermarkets of its size. Weekly specials alert a plus for savings. The highlight of this supermarket is the manager and its staff - their attention to customer service is second to none.

Ease of parking, friendly staff who are helpful. Disability friendly. Highly recommend. Although more expensive than Coles.🤔

Pretty much a full size Woolies. Including their bottle shop. Ample parking although bit tight in places. Has wheelchair access. Less than 10 minutes walk from the train station

It was ok, but it's an old store and could do with a make over and more product range.

Good Woolworths store, well stocked with helpful, friendly staff. Unfortunately like other supermarkets prices becoming high.

There was a wait to be served at the customer service desk as the female employee was chatting to someone and showing photos on her phone. She made an elderly lady wait and myself for 15 minutes which is unacceptable.

Staff are always lovely and polite however the quality of the fresh produce and deli meats are very poor and go off quickly

Very well organised. Courteous service. But they should place things in such a way that pricelists and notices are visible to shoppers.

Terrible customer service there everytime I go always staff don’t know anything and are slow. Drive through pick up is a joke, everytime I’ve had to go in cause they are behind and today was awful over an hour late and they think that it’s ok to make me wait an hour for groceries when I am here now. Terrible Woolworths so lazy the staff am never coming back here not even to get my order. Terrible never go here.

As I was entering Woolworths today (IT WAS MY ONLY WAY INTO THE STORE) a woman begged me for money. I didn't want to give her my money. I need it. I said no and I felt so guilty. As I was selecting my groceries I felt guilty for almost every item I selected. I was upset because I don't have that much money and I was unwilling to give it away for charity today and yet this woman felt it was ok to sit and ask for money where HAVE TO WALK PAST TO GET INTO THE STORE. My only solution is to go somewhere else next time. I will chose when and where I give to charity and I dont want to be made to feel guilty when I'm doing my grocery shop. Just for the record. I had been saving my money for 10 days just so I could do a good grocery shop. I was starving when I entered the grocery store and I had no food at home.
