chicken burgers all looked pink inside and came out awfully quick. when I took them back and they remade them I watched the chef pull out a metal tray of pre cooked grilled chicken. explains a lot. chips all under cooked. kids mini dog is just 1 mini Frankfurt in a mini bun and some chips. expensive for $8 and no drink included in that. no air conditioning or fans it's very hot today inside and out. very disappointed

Wow! Expectations weren't high being a museum cafe but the food was really really good and the coffee was amazing! Didn't get anyone's names but the dude with the blonde tips in his hair was making the coffee and it was one of the best coffees I've ever had. Made me want to order another but didn't want to end up bouncing off the walls.

Industry style atmosphere. Nice coffee and food. Service was friendly. Take away plates and cups only.

Tea was great and super hot. Limited menu, wouldn't recommend eating here. Everyone is checked for vaccination certificates at the door. Order at the counter and self collect. It wasn't busy but it took a long time to make orders. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Had brunch here before starting the museum tour. Food options are limited to toast, pies, fries etc. food are average. Waited around 20 mins for drinks, only to know that they have misplaced the 2 hot chocolates. When I asked they shrugged that they don’t have the order but said they will make it however. Staff is limited to serve weekend crowd.

My niece was in the area to see A collage close by. We where early so we decided to grab a coffee, my sister had a juice said it was fresh and amazing. My niece had a banana smoothly and a Danish cake. I had a dirty chai, was so nice would love to try other things in this cafe :-)

My daughter & I stop by here every week after her swim class. The food is consistently good, service is great & the place has a great atmosphere. The thing I like the most is there is lots of room & space between tables

A great place chill..hear the birds chirping. Ice latte & banana smoothie were generous in size

Tried their beef pie as Hannah’s Pie has closed; very dry inside, would not order again. Overall good service and food, they might just want to change their pie supplier. :)

Don’t bother ordering coffee from the museum cafe. Ordered an extra hot flat white. 20 mins later a cup of luke warm froth arrived. Very disappointing - I thought Sydney had a reputation for good coffee.

Was there today dropping the kids off for a workshop at 10am at the museum. Ordered takeaway coffee at 9:45 got it at 10:02. It wasn't busy either. Coffee was lukewarm suddzy and weak but I had to dash to register the kids next door. Returned 10mnis later and asked them to remake the coffee stronger and hotter. They were not pleased and a grumpy lady manager muttered and argued I could pay for an extra shot. I said no thanks - my order was a double shot FW and it was badly made. I want it done again. Waited. Got it. Still average. Bad coffee, bad skills, terrible attitude, Shame as it is a lovely space.

The experience is very bad, I ordered the a coffee for takeaway at 12:41, they did not make it out until 13:03, over 20 mins for a coffee. However, when I held the coffee, it is too light, I ordered a flat white, but the weight is like a cappuccino, I used to work as a barista, I know the regular weight of all kinds of coffee, so I opened the lid, and found that gross milk froth, and the coffee is not full…

Very nice atmosphere! Lots of room to sit, and the tea was lovely!

This review refers to my visit on Saturday 20/3/21. The cafe was poorly equipped to accommodate the large volume of people at lunch time which included visitors to the Persian event. The tables were dirty, idiots in the queue weren't maintaining social distancing. The woman at the cash register had the same level of service as those public servants at bus stops that 'direct' people to train replacements. The barista was not practicing good hygiene while making coffees.

Sadly dissapointing compared to the spectacle of the Powerhouse Museum. The coffee was okay, but you are expected to carry the coffees to the table yourself. Almost guaranteeing that an inexperienced person such as myself spills it!

Food doesn't seem to be their thing, but pretty nice coffee!

I have been here more times than some people have had hot dinners! I just love the place! I just can't help myself! If you haven't indulged yourself yet like I have on numerous occasions...then don't be a silly sausage! Get yourself down here!
