How the standards have dropped. No difference in standards between Business lounge and Qantas Club. Sloppy food, all food and drinks served with disposable plates and cups. Will be taking my loyalty to Velocity

Spacious with loads of facilities and food variety. Flight was delayed for hours due to weather but being in the lounge made it better. Only wish it had shorter waiting time to get in. I am surprised by their shower faculties - it is comparable to international lounges .

I’m not sure if it’s covid related but I don’t care as it’s no excuse to have such terrible food offerings. The food seems no different to the gold lounge . Compared to lounges across the world, Sydney and Melbourne are serving very low standard of food. Mid morning it’s dry crudités and a dip. Bread and cheese . Facilities are good. Lattes are served in paper (more rubbish landfill ) and only cappuccino and long white in ceramic. Hmmm why???

Everyone knows this is well overdue for an upgrade - but in the meantime surely they could do much better with the food in particular? It is like a buffet at a hostel and nothing has changed for a decade it seems. Peth, Melbourne and Brisbane offer considerably better food. The wine could definitely be improved too.

Come on Qantas, invest some money in this lounge. The food, furniture and toilets / showers are in need of a serious upgrade. Staff are always friendly and do their best with what little facilities they have. Free access via one world status makes it a little more palatable. For those paying Business class fares (and gaining access), it simply isn't up to scratch.

A spacious lounge just a few steps away from the scanning area, located in the middle of the terminal, the Qantas Domestic Business Lounge has all the essentials for business travel. There's a standard selection of fruit, pastries, hot food and juice. It also has its own barrista for those that need a coffee fix. The lounge overall though is a bit dated and generally has a lot of people during the peak flying times. Shower and printing facilities are also available.

Lounge has good available seating and different areas for work and rest. Plenty of beverage options with nice selection of wines and beers. Food is disappointing. Limited options for what you would expect for a business lounge. We had the choice of spaghetti, terrible looking salad or toast. Overall, it’s fine to relax in before your flight but you get a better lounge experience at Qantas Club, particularly Brisbane’s club.

I’ve only been in a few first-class lounges but have traveled and visited enough places as to be a fair judge of this lounge. The check-in staff was extremely friendly and were also helpful in attempting to change my seats for a flight later this week. I arrived here in time to catch the end of the breakfast service. A nice selection of fruits, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, sausage, and ciabatta bread was available via a self-serve buffet. Thanks to covid, the self-serve coffee machines were closed but replaced with excellent baristas making coffees to order. A flight delay allowed me to stick around into lunch service. The baristas were still making coffees to order but had also put out a fair selection of wines, champagne, and had a above average selection of bottled and draft beers. All the above drinks and food were complementary vs the alcohol being an extra fee like I’ve experienced elsewhere. Lunch selection was better than expected given previous reviews here. I rather enjoy making my own toasted sandwich of tasty cheese and salami. Paired up with a beer and some pickles. I’m ok that my flight was delayed.

Compared to other business domestic flight lounges around the world, this one is not that bad. Good food options and lots of space. Good for doing work or finding a quiet area to make a call. Even during the busy periods, feels like there is enough room.

Very lovely lady at the front desk. Food ok, very basic - toast, fruit, boiled eggs, kale salad 😏. Chef's special was baked beans 😬. Coffee was yum and very quick! The kids corner is excellent. Everything was very clean. Overall good experience 👌

I have never liked this lounge. It's always busy, there isn't much choice in the food and it isn't great. There are queues for coffee and food no matter what times I've visited. This visit we encountered a couple of staff members having a row on entry - I think one of them didn't like the feedback from the other but why they were doing this right where guests enter is beyond me.

Such a difference at the Sydney lounge in comparison to Brisbane. Staff very attentive & clean tables straight away. Also great choice of food with vegetarian options

Hectic and busy domestic Qantas lounge. Cleaning up noises, including vacuum cleaner bothered me during my stay! On a weekday morning they offered some typical aussie breakfast choices, but I was not hungry at all. It is spacious but it looks quite old-fashioned and a bit run down.

Good space to relax for your flight. Lots of seating but lacks enough power points. Dated compared to other qantas domestic business lounges

Variety of food is good. The coffee was nice, the juice was good, the soft drink was a bit flat. It is convenient to have a place to relax at the airport whilst waiting for flight, especially since it is recommended to arrive extra early due to staff shortages because of COVID-19 and other illnesses. The range of magazines is good.

Our flights were changed 3 times, which meant a 4 hour transit in Sydney. The lounge made it a comfortable wait. The drinks and a few plates of food made the wait time more manageable.

Not sure if it’s worth spending 20k points to get access to some soup and a toasted sandwich 😂 Still, good news about the view!

While it’s obviously a nice retreat from the main terminal area I can’t say I was overly impressed with this lounge, especially since it’s at one of Qantas’ main hubs. The entrance way was smart although the welcome from the staff member at reception was far from welcoming and friendly. Inside it was a struggle to find seating with access to electric sockets, although the large windows do offer good views of the aircraft activity outside. There’s no alcohol provided before midday and the food offering was disappointing, with a limited range and no quick / easy grab items such as sandwiches. There are some showers but the toilets weren't the nicest or cleanest. In fact cleanliness throughout the lounge wasn’t a strong point, with the carpets in need of a good vacuuming. It is a comfortable and large space to relax before a flight, but some way from being a memorable lounge.

The service from the Qantas staff is the only reason this review has more than 1 star. All of the Sydney lounges other than the International First lounge are disappointing. Most of the other capital cities all have great Qantas club and business lounges, yet in their home base they are woeful. They need to spend some money and refurbish as a matter of urgency... In this particular lounge the food is terrible, decor is very tired, seats have stains in the fabric. Coffee is good, drink selections is okay

Great space to unwind and meet up with colleagues. Long line for the single person barrista (about 20 min wait to order), so if you don't have time to wait there's a DIY tea and coffee station on the way to the bathrooms.

The qantas club in Adelaide is probably one of the better ones in Australia and more pleasant than Sydney and definitely Darwin. It's relatively new, and maybe has better management making it a better place to wait for the departing aircraft. There is no Qantas Business lounge, but it's still better than the other cities. Thank you to those responsible for their efforts.
