5/5 Sydney S. 2 years ago on Google
The
creativity
of
their
menu
coupled
with
fantastic
hospitality
has
earned
Noi
a
spot
on
my
list
of
favourite
restaurants
in
Sydney.
Situated
in
leafy
suburbia,
Noi
is
a
humble
abode
to
Northern
Italian
cuisine
with
a
focus
on
sustainability
(big
yes!).
First
off,
we
were
pleasantly
surprised
by
the
amuse-bouche
of
artichoke,
chorizo
and
pepita
seeds.
The
mild
nutty
taste
of
the
artichoke
was
complemented
beautifully
by
the
smoky
chorizo,
leaving
a
great
first
impression
of
what
was
to
come.
Also,
I
could
go
on
about
the
basket
of
house
made
bread
and
crackers,
it
was
so
cute
and
everything
was
perfect
texture
wise.
Duck/King
Prawn
croquettes
-
9/10
Loved
these
bites
because
they
came
piping
hot
and
each
croquette
had
a
very
generous
amount
of
duck/king
prawn
filling
and
for
good
reason
because
both
were
flavour
bombs.
Pig’s
head
(entree)
-
10/10
Wow
did
not
think
I
would
love
this
as
much
as
I
actually
did!
I
didn’t
know
what
to
expect
when
I
saw
‘giardiniera
textures’
but
I
was
feeling
adventurous
hehe.
The
photo
obviously
does
not
do
it
justice
because
you
can’t
see
the
star
of
the
dish,
oops
haha.
The
pig’s
head
itself
was
similar
to
pulled
pork
and
it
was
tender,
juicy
and
savoury.
The
diced
onions
and
cauliflowers
weaved
into
the
pork
added
a
nice
bite
and
the
purée
enhanced
the
savoury
flavour
profile
of
the
dish.
Also,
the
nori
crisp
was
a
nice
finishing
touch
delivering
the
textural
change
the
dish
needed.
Yellowfin
tuna
-
8/10
The
dish
was
exactly
what
you
would
want
from
an
entree
-
light
and
fresh.
For
me,
the
pig’s
head
blew
the
tuna
tartare
out
of
the
water
so
I
only
had
a
few
bites
but
I
enjoyed
the
whimsical
use
of
the
spring
onion
as
noodles.
The
Terramisu
was
hands
down
the
best
tiramisu
that
I’ve
ever
eaten
in
Sydney!
