Absolutely love it. It's so awesome when I die I want my ashes scattered there so when I get my new body that's where I'll be

My daughters and I ate lunch on a rock overlooking the water. Lots of mosquitos and persistent seagulls, but a great spot to explore and take in the beautiful scenery. We will return the next time in the area!

Picturesque park without crowds of Acadia. Great to bike or to run. Has several hikes that are not very difficult but you get to walk through moss covered rocky trails where around every corner you expect to see an elf but instead you may find a grouse.

If you want to watch the waves roll, or the tide come in this is a nice spot. My wife and I spent an hour here watching the high tide roll in on a cloudy day. The waves crashing on the rocks and the sound of the ocean are things to behold when you don't live in areas like this.

I could spend all day watching the waves crash against the rocks as the tide was rising. There’s so many different rocks you can walk across here at Schoodic Point. There’s also a lot of smaller ponds as the time goes down where you can see a lot of snails.

Hands down - best part of Acadia National Park. Time your visit to arrive about an hour before high tide peaks. Pack a lunch. Maybe a couple of beers. Be careful about the waves. They get big fast. We visited the weekend before Memorial Day. Crowds minimal.

Schoodic Point, nestled within Acadia National Park, is a coastal marvel. The rugged beauty of the cliffs and the crashing waves create a mesmerizing scene that's both invigorating and serene. The views of the Atlantic Ocean are spectacular, offering a refreshing escape from the hustle of everyday life. Whether you're capturing the sunrise or taking a leisurely walk along the shoreline, Schoodic Point is a nature lover's paradise and a must-visit spot within Acadia National Park.

Great place to watch the sunset or enjoy the power of the waves. The rocks are slippery! 2 of my kids slipped here, despite our warnings to stay off the black slippery areas. Most importantly, stay far enough back from the edge that if you do slip, you don't fall in. It's a gorgeous lookout point and there's so much room to explore and find a private spot to sit.

Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Convenient parking and beautiful views of the ocean crashing over the rocks.
