Mamma Collette the legend! Bringing warmth and a touch of home to your holiday. We had a wonderful stay at Mamma Collette’s place. She is a wonderful cook and gracious host. She even cooked Thanksgiving dinner for us - so special and memorable! We will definitely come back!

Mamma Colette is not a restaurant, it is an experience. As mamma Colette rightly explains, this is a place to share, to meet, to live ... and all of this while having delicious grilled fish and other Sicilian specialities, that you order and pick yourself, right at the kitchen window countertop. We could have stayed the whole night listening and sharing stories with Mamma Colette, the chef, and the other customers. We came not knowing what to expect, we left with new friends and having shared life stories. Dank je Mamma Colette deze belevenis!

Outstanding value. Superb hospitality. Best experience on Sicily. Colette speaks 5 languages. Camper travellers, wind surfers, or for b&b lodging, you will find it all at MamaColette! Highly recommended.

We came for a night, and that was almost a week ago. We're still here, and have no plans to leave just yet. The food is excellent. The service is fantastic - a very sincere thanks to Abdulla, who always has a big smile and seems impervious to any challenge that's presented to him. The services offered to everyone who visits are beyond compare, and Mamma Colette is truly a very special person. If I have half the energy, smile half as much, and have a quarter of the loving personality that she has when I get to her age, I'll consider myself as being very lucky. This is a lovely place to visit, especially if you're kite surfing or interested in staying somewhere that offers fantastic home cooked food; but it's the personalities that make this place truly special. A wonderful example of 'the whole being greater than the sum of its parts'.

Not a restaurant according to an extraordinarily bad tempered "mamma collete" if you are not staying there you shouldn't be eating there apparently. Chef looked very fed up and embarrassed with her. Can put it down to a bad day I guess but wow, she was not a happy person. Happily left and ate down the road with lovely chilled people.

We stopped at Mamma Colette's for lunch on the way from Trapani to Marsala. What a lovely garden setting next to the sea ,with such a friendly kind welcome from Colette herself. She cooked us a delicious lunch served with wine made from her own grapes. So relaxing and rejuvenating after a week of tourist food. I highly recommend you take a small detour to Mamma Colettes place for a little bit of home cooking, friendly conversation and relaxation. 🍝🌴🌳🍷

Definitely worth the experience to see Mama Colette chatting away! Very warm welcome by Mama Colette herself. Food was simply and good. Only the price of 25€ for two simple pasta, a lemonade and a beer was a bit surprising... Otherwise, 5 stars to indulge in the atmosphere!

MamaColette is one of these places that dont leave you indifferent. The owner is flamboyant, welcoming and warm. She happens to have had 9 interesting lives which make discussing with her a joy. The place is a small haven offering delicious pasta, local organic wine, rooms and camping places should you need them. The lighting and wooden tables make it a romantic place to have a dinner in. Highly recommend a break from kitesurfing there.

Lovely atmosphere, superb value for money, great hosts. Definitely recommend! Had three courses, took some doggie bags with us, had lots of wine and some limoncellos, still below 30€ per person.

So happy to have found Mamma Colette. What a lovely lady, with a wonderful site and the biggest smile. Nothing is too much trouble, the home cooked food is wonderful and plentiful, and the atmosphere is like being in the comfortable home of an old friend. If you are in western Sicily, book in to Mamma Colette's. If you're not, then go to western Sicily for no other reason than to book in!

*** It feels like home *** A warm welcome from MammaColette filled with love is just the beginning of this experience. Followed by her excellent prepared dishes and high class wine. I enjoy this place since many years and I can not just recommend it, if you come to Sicily it’s a must go. While you are pausing between your kitesurfing sessions or you simply want to enjoy the nice ambient while watching the sunset. If you go there please give MammaColette a big hug from me and spread the love. Thank you.

In my experience it was poor quality and not value for money. I recommend agreeing on the price before eating since it is not fix but estimated according to the clients face.

Very pleasent, helpful, nice and full-energy lady will entertain you in (as she told me) small world where you can have relax, sleep, read a book or enjoy a delicious local food and local drinks. Thank you very much for visit.

This is the best place where you can stay if you are in Lo Stagnone. It’s right at the kite spot, the rooms are super nice and the food is amazing. Mamma Colette will take care of you like nobody else.. Could not recommend the place more!

Highly highly recommend! Brilliant atmosphere very chilled and inviting- felt very homely. We didn’t stay at the campsite only came for food. The chef came and told us he was the menu which is a little risky as you don’t know the prices however it did not disappoint. He told us upfront that our 2 year old would eat free which was super kind. Food was lovely and felt very fresh. At the end the bill came to around €25 for 2 very good size portions of pasta alla Norma, a bottle of water and a glass of wine (then a decent size portion of pasta alla Norma for our 2 year old as well). We were offered a pistachio dessert however our 2 year old needed to sleep so we declined as needed to get back. When we came to pay we only then found out they only accept cash!!!! We only had €10 cash on us (and bank cards) however they VERY generously let us go for free and wouldn’t even accept the €10!!!! Would love to come back (with cash!!) if we were staying longer/ would love to camp here some time!!

This is the best restaurant in the world, in my opinion, The food is exceptional, all hand produced from scratch, from the pasta to the plate. Mamma Colette is an exceptional person and the experience is delightful. Superb location, food and service. You can even purchase the hand made pasta to take home to try yourself and it is superb.

Sicilian Experience. The words that i want to use when i talk about Mama Collete don't exist or they haven't been invented yet. Simply put it's one of the best places to come and experience a rainbow of flavors. It's not just eating, it's a wonderful gastronomic experience. Mama Collete uses only fresh and hone grown ingredients that make thr food taste 1000 time better. Try it !!!!! You won't regret it !!!

We felt right at home! Mamma colette will greet you everyday, will serve you a delicious beakfast and cook lunch and dinner anytime you need. She makes the pasta herself! Her rooms are spacious, clean and honestly the best bed we had in our 3 weeks in Sicily! I could not recommend more. I will come back to Sicily, just to visit Mamma Colette!

Delicious, home-made food served my extremely friendly restaurant owner! We had enjoyed eating there twice. Also great spot for coffee and desert and remote work.
