Literally the only bar in town! Ha. Better known locally as the snake pit. Beer tends to be cold, drinks are strong, and everything is cheap. What else do you need...

Peaceful and friendly place to enjoy a couple drinks by the oceanfront. A necessary stop amongst travels. In good tides can swim with the nurse sharks too, which is kind of fun.

You don't really have too many options for a bar on the island but this is a decent little spot. It's also called aka "the snake pit" and no there are no snakes on the island. This is The local watering hole and the prices are actually pretty decent.

The only bar I've ever been to that is open to the elements and next to a remote beach. You can't beat the location! They have a very small selection of drink choices and typically don't have the mixers that I need for the drinks I crave but it's Kwaj, so I'm not expected they would anyhow but I still notice it. The bartender is always "no business" and fast! It's fun to drink with our friends here and sit by the ocean on the bench.

The "SNAKE PIT"....They have live music and Fireball what more could you ask for. Sometimes they even have Gin and Vodka and tonic water. Great bartenders that keep up with the busy pace. Usually you can find a deal on a $1 beer special. What a view, right on the ocean... turtle soup on special occasions. ..cooked fast to order.

The Oceanview Club is the perfect place to enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere where everyone is cordial and only interested in enjoying themselves in a calm, collected manner. The Oceanview Club's track record speaks for itself, as it is the only afterhours establishment on the entire eastern side of Kwajalein that boasts absolutely zero personnel incidents or recorded disturbances or malefactions of any kind in its long-standing history as the Pacific's premier nightclub. It you're looking for a wonderful no-frills locale to enjoy your evenings, without the hustle, bustle, and stress that everyday Kwajalein life can bring, the Oceanview Club is the place that you're looking for.

Its a bit of a shanty town operation as the company can't or won't update the building due to its historical status. No AC and a home built jukebox are also a problem though the selection on the box is good. What makes the place grand is its staff who do miracles to make the place wonderful. Drinks are cheap and the glass large.

This place is not actually called "Bar". It is The Ocean View Club (a.k.a. The Snake Pit). It is a great open-air bar with a view of the ocean and reef (at low tide). Although there are no actual snakes in the facility (nor on the island at all), it is a great place to go for happy hour or a weekend afternoon if you can pull yourself away from Emon Beach. :)
