Sweetcorn festival is one of my favorite fests each year. Wish you they would edit admission entery costs to kids under 12 and adults over 30 free. The problem in the past was 12-19year olds(i was there when it happened). That would make it more family friendly. Volunteers are wonderful and friendly.

We were there today for my grandmother's funeral. Everyone was so very kind. The choir sang beautifully. On a day when your heart feels sad and a little empty, we left with a full heart.! Thank you.

St. Jude's Sweet Corn Festival of course and most recently the way they stepped up and helped the derecho storm victims by providing them with fresh produce. 🙏

Father Mark gives a great sermon. He makes one feel involved in the mass. Great musicians providing guidance during the hymns.

This year's sweetcorn festival was not fun or enjoyable at all I brought ppl with me & we all thought it gonna be great experience but All we could do is walk around look & eat. They're no rides for any grown ups, all I did was waste my time & money to buy ticket just to walk into place to see rides for only small children to enjoy. I can leave the state & have more fun than I ever would here, I will never be back

St Jude's Iowa sponsors an animal killing contest! I would never support St Jude's, barbaric and disgusting

I don't actually attend here, but serve as a tutor here where they offer their building as a satellite site for the Catherine McCauley Center. I also work at a Memory Care facility that they send laypeople to every Saturday to provide a service and communion, so have seen the bulletin they leave behind for residents and have sat in on the service. What impresses me is that they do a lot to serve the community as well as their own, from what I've observed and read. There seems to be a lot going on in their church family, they have a school on site and partner with other parishes for things, so it seems to be a vibrant faith community. If I were Catholic, it's a church family I would make a priority to check out more closely. So, again, I only have observed from the outside, but I have seen a lot of good things going on...worth a look!

Was there for the Sweet Corn Festival. Didn't really get a chance to go into the church but from what I could see the grounds were well-maintained and clean. Buildings looked pretty nice as well.

Sweet Corn Festival is family friendly fun with the best buttery sweet corn around. A must go each year.

No ADA parking for the Sweet Corn Festival? The church lot has empty spots, but yet the guy at the gate says the lot is full while cars are leaving. Nothing says ADA friendly event like having to push a wheelchair from several blocks away. This is now 2 years in a row of that happening.
