Not a great gym. Most of their ellipticals and treadmills have problems or do not work at all. It seems like they buy faulty or very used equipment to save money. I got charged a random yearly fee for $50 that I was never told about and then I was told that included the monthly fee with yearly cost but then the next day they took the normal $27 for the month out of my account so I have now payed $75 for a gym I do not like going to. Would not recommend. Edit: I am not Hayden and am not sure who that is however if you are willing to give me a refund I would happily accept.

Edit: There’s no need to assume that I’m upset about the cancellation process I think we can handle this in a professional manner the point of Google reviews is to leave a review and that comes from opinions on the place it’s a good gym by all means and the legal bonded process to cancel is understandable more just upset about the phone call when I called to get info on cancelling and the fact that I didn’t receive a reply back for a week which is gonna set my 30 days from when I can get the mailed cancellation process pushed back farther meaning a chance that I could be charged more when it wasn’t my fault you guys hadn’t checked your “spam” folder. Decent gym could use some extra cleaning but that’s aside from the point it just has some stuff to work on and hope it fixes the flaws in the future.

I have heard a lot of negitave things about this gym, the owner seems to not be able to take criticism. The owner replys to every negitave review like an insecure man child and seems to stalk members by throwing their personal business all over the place. I would not recommend this gym to anyone and would advise you all stay away. Try planet fitness at 383 Edgewood Rd NW for a professional workout environment.

The owner/manager is a grown man who stalks teenage girls to the point where they feel unsafe . Also , business practices are unfair and predatory. They won’t let you cancel, they charge you for a dirty and unkept facility . These are NOT good people to give your money to and I would not be surprised ti hear of legal action being taken .

This place is awful. Just look at Management's replies to bad reviews - do you really want to trust these people with your credit card info? The place is dirty and the most unprofessional gym I've ever been to. Lots of fake positive reviews put here by management too... Go at your own risk.

Best gym in town I have been coming here for 4 years if it wasn’t for custom fitness I would still be 300 lbs friendly staff as well as clientele the pool sold me but the equipment is top of the line as well

Such a great gym! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. I would recommend coming to this gym and giving it a try you won’t regret it. The staff is more than happy to answer questions you may have and give tours of the gym for those who have never been here. To top it off membership fees are some of the lowest around.

I was at this gym for approximately over a month and the experience I had was terrible. The first day I came in to sign up, the manager, Donovan, and a blonde women seemed annoyed at the fact that I was asking to sign up for a membership. Not only that, but the lady rolled her eyes at me because I wasn’t able to access my bank information. A week later I came in asking about the free membership I was not informed about at the time of me registering. For some reason Donovan wasn’t able to issue me a refund and instead promised me “two free months” that wasn’t fulfilled. A few weeks later, I see a fraudulent transaction from this gym and I call the desk to speak to the manager to ask about it. The people up front kept lying to me saying that I would get a call back that never happened or that he’d be in at a certain time which he was never there. It got to the point that they would stop picking up the phone or hang up whenever I asked about Donovan. I was lucky enough to get issued a refund the second time, but had my membership canceled due to the mistake they made. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone in my family, friends, or teammates. The place is dysfunctional and I should’ve read the other reviews before wasting my time and money here. Hiring a bunch of air-headed teen who seemingly enjoy giving customers the runaround will be the downfall of this gym.

The contract here seems to be drafted in a way as to not allow you to quit without suffering a penalty. The phrase caveat emptor was created with this place in mind. Let the buyer beware! Just from reading the reviews here, it seems apparent that the person who replies to them doesn't understand the difference between slander and libel and when each is applicable or even if they are applicable at all. What a weird thing to see in Google reviews for a local gym. Edit: see response from owner for another example of their idiotic claims of libel. Dear "the owner", people don't always use their real names on the internet, it is a very common safety measure. This doesn't mean a person did not have a membership at your establishment, this means the person didn't have a membership under 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙧 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚.

Great gym been coming here since feb 2022. Has all the equipment youll ever need plus a pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, hydro bed, and tanning. And great price more affordable then any other gym in town.

If you're looking for the perfect gym you've came to the right place! Dave and his staff go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of from the time you walk in to the time you leave. The facility is great, equipped with more equipment than you'll ever need for any work out, and ITS CLEAN. The other gym members are nice, friendly, and will go out of their way if they see you needing help. I cannot say enough great things about this place!

I would not suggest signing up less your 100 precent sure. They are crooks. They say it takes 30 day to cancel, of course you can't do it in store and they going to take their sweet time opening the letter. Only canceled the one that was not being used. My daughter uses hers and the equipment is good. They lose 2 stars fir being thieves

Top of the line gym! Very good equipment placed right to maximize circuit training for hardcore trainers. Lots of area and multiple amenities included in the very valuable pricing schedule, this gym is a no brained for any good quality weight lifters! Awesome gym with the most professional staff dedicated to making sure your experience is as best as possible. I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the Cedar Rapids area.

I've done alot of research trying to find a gym that fits my already tight budget and this was it. You can commit to a year for a slight monthly discount or go month to month, neither of which will break your bank if you're a frequent visitor. Basic let's you access the gym, and VIP gives added access to a pool and sauna. Day care hours a pretty weird but that has never been an issue for me.

My son’s credit card is still getting charged after his free 30 day membership. We have tried everything to get it to stop . Guess we will call our bank and dispute August, September and October. It pretty sick that this place takes advantage of college students and others and keeps charging their cc long after membership has been canceled. Yes it was in writing.

Custom fitness is HUGE. It looks small from the outside but enormous on the inside. I love all the accommodations they provide and very excited to start my fitness journey with them.

This gym was pretty good overall. The managers were friendly and respectful. They regularly wiped down the machines making sure they were clean and the gym it’s self wasn’t bad either. But they could add more racks for free weight barbell exercises

I love this gym! This has been the only gym I’ve been able to commit too! The front desk ladies are always so nice the gym is always clean with very nice equipment the only discrepancy I have is that the gym advertises open 24 hrs when they are not which is a bummer bc that’s why I signed up bc it was perfect for my work schedule being open over nights now most days money is just taken from my account and I’m not even able to occupy the gym in the hrs that work best for me.

Locally owned, high quality gym. There are a variety of roins with equipment for all fitness levels. Staff is always fantastic and greet me with a smile.

Pool heater is constantly on the repair. If you want to do water therapy too cold to do so comfortably. As of 1/9/2023....MUCH better with the pool temp now! Even locker room felt warm today.

I have been going here for years. I love the place, lots of equipment to choose from different rooms to be in sauna pool hot tub and great management. Strongly suggest if u are looking for a new gym

Staff is very kind, and there's a wide variety of machines that you can use. I come here as a guest with my buddy multiple times a week and we are able to achieve a nice pump every time.

I just signed up for a membership here and met with a personal trainer. The sign up process was easy and they have a variety of membership choices for different levels of commitment and access. The personal trainer seems to be very knowledgeable and accommodating of my hectic schedule so far which is awesome since my work schedule can vary from first, second, or into third shift. I have never used a gym before, so I’m optimistic that I’ll stick with it and meet my personal wellness goals. I was referred here by a friend who loves it here so I hope it will be a good fit for me too. On a positive side note the parking lot was packed and it still didn’t feel to overcrowded in the facility. Also love that they use clean energy by utilize solar power!

Love working out at the gym, many areas for me to workout instead of just one spot and prices are very affordable. My guy also works out here as well. Love it here.

Pretty good gym has a lot of nice different things and a nice front desk worker the only thing i don’t like the best is the benches but other than that it’s perfect.

This was the best experience ever, I loved the customer service, the lady at the front desk was just amazing. Definitely need more gyms like this one.

I have not been here in years, but I did not have the best experience here when I was there last, and I'm not going to be negative and try to ruin a businesses reputation. I am just simply stating my experience. I hope things have changed since I was last there. P.S. it wasn't a staff problem by any means it was just some personal issues that made this not the right fit for me personally.

Got a free 5 day pass to check it out. This gym has everything we were looking for and at an affordable price. Everyone has been very helpful.

Staff could be a lot more helpful and friendly . Couldn't even tell me where the drinking fountains were on my 3 day trial . Didn't show around very well either
