I came here for lunch with some of my staff on a Friday (6/9). I’ve never been here before so it’s a first for me. First impression of the restaurant is a 5/5. Very inviting. It’s got that older historic mill look and feel which is pretty cool. Didn’t have to wait long to be seated. Place wasn’t super crowded. Our server was awesome. She was friendly and welcoming. Came by and took our order within less 10 minutes. Service is definitely a 5/5. Food options are great. Many to choose from. Price range was anywhere between $9-$22 depending on selection. Food was served within less than 15 minutes and hot from the kitchen. Presentation is a solid 5/5. My staff says the taste of their food is a 5/5. I got the grilled chicken sandwich. Although tasty… was a tad dry. So would give it about 4/5. Overall experience is a 4.75/5. Great atmosphere. I would definitely return. Will take the family here and try some of the other choices on the menu. Value/Price ratio is a 5/5.

We were visiting Sacramento and heard about this place so we decided to give them a try. We love their British beer selection and I particularly enjoyed the Fuller's London Pride Pale Ale. We also ordered the mini scones which were really delicious while warm. My hubby got the fish and chips and I ordered the shepherd's pie which were both from the lunch menu. The portions are big and both were really good. A very satisfying meal. Shoutout to our server too who was very attentive and friendly. It was a great experience and one we will try again when we're in the area.

Fox & Goose has the best service and brunch! I’ll be back for their apple cinnamon waffles and espresso martinis. My server anticipated every one of my needs and the manager even stopped by to see how we were doing. I especially loved their Christmas decorations. I’m bringing my family back for an early Christmas brunch. Thank you F&G for the unforgetable experience!

Catered my holiday event. Everything was delicious and beautiful! Only downside is they wouldn’t share their chocolate chip cookie recipe, just the ingredients inside. That’s understandable though 🤣

We had breakfast at 7am in the morning. It was traditional full English breakfast. All I can said is that it was delicious. The beans were meh, and I didn’t like that my eggs were not traditionally poached, but everything else was great.

Traveled all over the world and this British Pub is one of the best and authentic restaurants in California. Been coming here for years and they are consistent with everything they make. Even as a child I’ve always loved corned beef. The first time I’ve tried it here, I was blown away. In fact my mouth is watering as I write this review. The homemade crumpets and scones topped with homemade jams and Devonshire are delicious and also my favorite. Homemade Bloody Mary mix pairs well with anything for breakfast/brunch. There’s always a line/wait, so I also enjoy trying out their bartending skills by getting drinks while I wait. Yes! They are always on point 👍🏽 Authentic, chill vibe that serves consistently tasty dishes and drinks!! Life is good!! 🫶🏼

Little pub on R Street that gets packed for brunch. They have a great selection of brunch and English items. Their drink menu is good too, as they have a variety of different mimosa flavors. The mini scones are a MUST try! The chicken apple sausage was not the best. Both my friend and I ate one bite and didn’t finish the rest. The quiche could use more ingredients. It was almost like eating scrambled eggs on crust.

Just ate breakfast there. It was a very good bacon and cheese omelet. Average price around $16 with the ability to create multiple variations of ingredients for omelets. I really liked the layout, it was the classic wooden pub style. It wasn't busy at 7:00 AM and the service was excellent.

A nice brunch spot at R street historical area. They have nice outdoor seating with balcony. Both omelette and Benedict are nicely done! Especially recommend their scone, very soft and buttery with berries. You can upgrade from a regular toast or English muffin. Definitely recommend it for brunch!

Great for breakfast. They open early so I can stop by from the walk between my car and work. They are also great for lunch. I was able to dine in within my lunch break. I haven't tried dinner but the cocktail hour before dinner is nice.

Fantastic English style pub & restaurant. Love coming here for breakfast. The corned beef hash is excellent. Also, don’t miss the scones w/ clotted cream!

1st time in Sacramento, I brought my dad over to this place to no disappointment. This place really opened my hobby of journaling through the google platform as a local guide. I was really going for the eggs 🥚 Benedict, and my dad was really impressed with the service. We sat outside, which was misted and well shaded. I would like to come back here as many times as possible. Thank you, I saw you guys are almost at the 50th year mark, Congratulations!

This place was good. I liked my food and my drink was good but a bit sour. I found out English food wasn’t for me but what we had was well seasoned. The only complaint was the service after being seated it took about 15 minutes for someone to take our order.

Atmosphere was awesome! Service was great! And the food was amazing! Prices were more than fair for the potion sizes. I ordered the Full Monty and it was amazing. Maybe waited ten minutes for my order to come out on a busy Sunday. I'm definitely going back and checking out some other items on the menu!

This restaurant has been in this location for many years and has survived the Covid-19 shutdown so people still like dining here. The food is good and offers not only British fare like bangers and mash, scones, clotted cream and crumpets, but also waffles and pancakes. If you have ever heard the statement that British food is rather bland, then you have heard right, it’s not very seasoned. I ordered the brisket hash and eggs over medium and I needed to add salt and pepper. I tasted the crumpets and the poppyseed and blueberry scones and clotted cream and both tasted ok. I would recommend trying out this British style restaurant as it is the closest thing to visiting England.

Service is stellar. Food is scrumptious and portions are very good.. as a repeat customer I would recommend the Sunday brunch.. keeping in mind that they are well known and have waiting times as long as 30-40 so enjoy a drink at the bar and see and smell all the savory food that passes by.. Magically delish!!! We’ll be back

We were here for an event near by, so we step in to grab a drink. Staffs are super nice and vibe is so chill. Beer is delicious and it is well price, spent $10 for two beers. Edit: We came back the next day to eat. Arrived around 10am and wait was about 5mins to get seated. Food came out quick. Server was super nice and attended to us frequently. We got homemade scones, white mocha coffee, Full English Breakfast, and Benedict Androld Breakfast. It's so delicious. My new favorite brunch restaurant!

Absolutely beautiful experience for anyone in the Downtown Sacramento area. Gorgeous pub, amazing atmosphere. It's like visiting a little bit of London but really close to home. Would recommend to anyone, and everyone!

The atmosphere was absolutely amazing great decor it shoots you right into the underground part of London there's even maps that show the layout the food was far from traditional because it tasted fantastic British food normally does not have that much flavor HOPE was my server and she was very attentive although I figure they were a little short staff so patience might be slightly necessary for this visit I had the full British the sausage was amazing the beans were a great touch and the English muffin with marmalade was a nice finish I will definitely come back again the price point was very reasonable

I had a great breakfast after a long run. Enjoyed food and London fog tea. Food was tasty. Great service. Will definitely go back. They have both I door and outside seating.

To write a bad review would be very difficult to do for this place. There is quite a bit of roadside parking and we had no trouble finding a close spot. The staff is so friendly and attentive. My dad was English and I've been over the pond a few times, their English breakfast holds up. The scones are much like one's we bought in Boston, UK. The place has a cool pub vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. 2nd visit always impressed;)

Came by Fox & Goose Friday afternoon for a meal. For drinks, we got a B-very berry ($9). Not bad. Food wise: -1 full monty $16: waffle tasted like an eggo waffle. Definitely could improve. Everything else was good. -1 benedict arnold smoked salmon avo $21.25: made well, a bit on the pricier end with add ons for salmon and avocado -scone minis: super yummy! Wish they were hotter Staff could have been a bit more attentive. People sitting and ordering after us go their food first. Slow on water refills and forgot scones. Maybe it was a difficult day for the staff, so might be a one-off. Overall, food is on the better side. Will try other items off the menu in the future! Street parking only.

Want to feel and taste like you're across the pond? Look no further than Fox & Goose Public House located in the R Street district of Downtown Sacramento. This British pub has the most beautiful interior decor to make you feel like you're stepping straight into England. We came for brunch and loved everything, especially the scones and my Fuller's London Pride. Now I need to come back for their lunch menu to snag some fish and chips!
