Hands down the BEST chicken sandwich in B-town. Crispy, juicy and full of wonderful Thai flavors and seasoning. The brioche bread is soft and complements the chicken very well. The chicken satay taco's are very unique and also very tasty. Stop reading and just go try it! You won't be disappointed.

The fried chicken sandwich is sooo good, crispy on the outside, juicy/tender on the inside with very tasty Thai seasoning/flavor. Highly recommend. Probably not good for the cholesterol or heart but, that’s the only complaint!

Absolutely delicious, I highly recommend getting their fried chicken sandwich and wings. The owners are sweet and make sure you feel very welcome. The food well seasoned and the sauces are perfect. A family owned business you should support 😊

Absolutely delicious Thai food. I went with a friend, and we ordered the shared meal with the Thai chicken wings, garlic noodles, brussel sprouts, rice, and spicy basil pork. Everything was very well seasoned and served hot and fresh. I also ordered the Thai Palmer, which was surprisingly yummy.I went back tonight with another friend, and everything was just as delicious. He got the Thai chicken sandwich and said it was better than Popeyes and Chick-Fil-A.

A legit contender for best friend chicken sandwich in town. The chicken juicy in places, crispy in places, nicely seasoned. The pickles very complementary. Spicy, but the right amount, not as some kind of stunt. Bun nicely grilled, just the right density. Just barely small enough to bite, meaning it is exactly the perfect size. A ton of food between the bread; I personally can't imagine eating this with a side of fries. Best to call ahead instead of walking up. I waited 20 minutes for mine.

I love going to a place where the owner comes out beaming with pride for their delicious food. This is one of those rare places. The fried chicken sliders were AWESOME. You get two and they are bigger than your average sliders. So I brought them home and shared. Totally recommended!

Great chicken sandwich...and the garlic noodles are also very tasty. Not a very inviting place to sit and eat...I saw many to go orders being picked up, soayne that is the key. Sign says bus your own table, which means it's most likely NOT cleaned. Two chicken sandwiches, 1 order of garlic noodles...$42! That's steep.

Huge portions of great food! The chicken was hot and juicy, the noodles were really tasty, and the spicy pork and rice had a great kick. Definitely great food to share with friends!

Excellent food with excellent portions. Got the fried chicken sandwich combo + fried chicken thighs with garlic noodles. They gave 3 large chicken thighs which was very generous. Hope to come back. The only thing was that the ordering window is oddly placed so that you have to duck to order or else the staff inside can’t hear you properly.

Had the pleasure of trying this place a couple days ago. Absolutely amazing. I ordered through their website and it was simple and easy. I got the fried chicken sandwich with curly fries and it was AMAZING. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. And its HUGE! Do yourself a favor and get the tamarind sauce as a dipping sauce for the fries! You won't regret it.

One of the better fried chicken sandwiches I’ve tried. Juicy, good flavor, sizable portion. Just a tad bit soggy but that’s expected given I had a deliver order. Chicken could have used a bit more seasoning but still had solid flavor. Depending on your preference, you might want it more crispy, but I found it satisfying. Definitely will go back when I’m craving a fried chicken sandwich. Thai fried chicken wings are also incredible. Best chicken spot around town.

Passed by many times but I will be back to get their food again. Was in a vegetarian mood and got their dusty tofu. Similar to salt and pepper style, great crunchy fry and dusted with flavorful spices. Pretty cool

Color me shocked when I walked into this place on a Thursday night during dinner time, and was the only one there besides a guy (actually pretty good) jamming on an electric guitar. Proceeded to get one of the biggest and certainly best fried chicken sandwiches of my life. Come through, you won't be disappointed!

Honestly, this place blew me away! Hands down my favorite eatery in Berkeley. Such a amazing meal and wildly affordable. The fried chicken sandwich is so juicy, but not soggy. It’s slaw is slightly pickled so it’s like a fried chicken sandwich had a baby with a banh mi. The aioli on the Brussels sprouts is unique and insanely good. The wings are beyond crispy and the garlic noodles and fries are also great! The compliments feel repetitive because I genuinely loved everything we ordered. Also, the sweetest and most patient lady behind the counter to help you with recommendations. Their sliders are also normal sandwich sizes and don’t sleep on the combination deals! I can’t recommend this place enough!!!

Best fried chicken sandwich in town. Also fried tofu bites are dank.

Food, drinks, presentation, and service are 5 star. Everything Ive tried has been excellent. Tiny location with few tables inside and out.

The fried chicken sandwich is THE BEST FOOD EXPERIENCE EVER!! So glad they have great customer service (because I’d still give them 5 stars for the chicken sandwich). It’s a tiny family run place. The food is made with love. How do I know this? You can see and feel the care and attention that goes into each order. It is their labor of love. Seriously do yourself a favor get the fried chicken sandwich. It is a pleasurable taste and texture experience. The flavors are artfully placed into a sandwich you will always remember. This sandwich is no joke you may become addicted and tell all your friends about it!

I was really excited to try out this place, but unfortunately there were a couple of things that made my experience poor. 1. Flavor: While I enjoyed the Wing and Things platter overall, the seasoning on the wings was overpowering—it made the dish salty and spicy, without depth to the spice. I would’ve liked to see potentially some sweetness and acidity to balance out the harshness. There is a little bit of lime-esque tang to the seasoning, BUT it was completely overpowered by the saltiness of seasoning. Fortunately, I had both Manuka honey + maple syrup and lime juice at home which truly elevated the dish. However, they were cooked perfectly, a great balance of crispiness and juiciness. The other side dishes were good, but their flavors weren’t too memorable nor innovative! 2. Food Safety: I only had a couple of bites of the side dishes because I found hair in both the spicy basil pork and the garlic noodles, so they had to be tossed ASAP (a bummer because I did enjoy them). Secondly, given the one-note saltiness of the wings, this meal did cause subsequent sodium-induced headache. Both events combined dampened the experience of the entire meal.

I don't live in Berkeley anymore, but enjoy trying out whatever may have replaced the restaurants I used to recognize. While doing laundry at Central Launderette, I looked for lunch nearby, and though Fausto's is sadly gone, Southside Station is an excellent new face. I had a basic fried chicken sandwich combo with fries and a drink for $17. Steep, but standard for Berkeley nowadays and well worth it. Fried chicken sandwiches are trendy nowadays, but this one stood out with a more tempura-ish batter, a delicious brioche bun, and a unique slaw. Fries were twice-fried, curly, and tasty. Best of all was the incredibly kind owner, who didn't hesitate to ask me how my day was going and kindly chatted with me after my meal as I admired the other drinks he had for sale - you don't see Taiwan Beer in many places! I'd be happy to return and try other things on the menu.
