The first thing you need to know is: it’s BYOB with no corkage fee. Secondly, it’s always bustling; make a reservation if you’ve got a group. Finally, share your mains. The portions are extremely generous and you’ll want to taste the everything. The Fuls Medames and the Spicy Elaf Chicken were my two favourite dishes but I should say that the Hummus disappeared almost as soon as it arrived on the table.

Excellent food (generous portions) and service. The restaurant is very welcoming, bright and airy and gives off a strong Eastern Mediterranean feel. It almost felt like I was on holiday with the music playing in the background. Well done to all the hosts for a great evening. If you want alcohol its bring your own. The only negative was the car park and access from the car park which wasn't very well lit but don't let that put you off.

Date of visit: December 2021 Came here for birthday celebrations I had the chicken kebab which was delicious and tender. The kebabs don't come with salad or carb sides so need to order separately. It's bring your own alcohol. Not perfectly wheelchair accessible but managed to get a space onto the table without much fuss over the step. Staff were lovely. Nice decor. Book in advance at busy times.

Wow what a place. Went here today with our friends and they'd told it was good but they couldn't have said enough to cover exactly how good it was. The food was a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. It's without doubt the best meal we've eaten in years. The staff we're simply fantastic, they couldn't do enough for you. We can't wait to go again and again and again 5⭐.

Spur of moment meal and very good one too. Very succulent meat and loads of flavour . All the dishes were great , would definitely come back soon.

This place is amazing! Absolutely stunning food. Me and my wife visited after it being recommended by several friends and we were not disappointed. We both had starters, houmus with lamb and halloumi and then the mixed kebab and the elaf kebab for mains. Food is out of this world. Staff are very helpful, kind and service was astounding. Cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.

The food was amazing 👏 😋 I had to take away what I didn't finish. Full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳 The rice and lentils was the tastiest rice I've had in a long while. And to finish with the Arabic tea was a 🙌 Thank you ❤️

I’m really wishing to be more than five stars first off all the staff so friendly and they let you fell the comfort of the middle East then starters so testy and they are so generous and kind then food well cooked as well you fell the fresh test from first bite lastly dessert so lovely really Macclesfield they are luck they got this restaurant and definitely will revisit if I pass over again. Nice food, good service. Front door doesn't close fully automatically which means when it's cold outside the draft is significant. Otherwise, great place for a casual meal.

Delicious Lebanese restaurant in Macclesfield 🙌 Try the Lamb Chops and you’ll not leave disappointed. They did a traditional dessert combination which we enjoyed. Also, we booked an hour before and it was very easy to get a table. There is a parking very close to the restaurant. We got some free Turkish delight (llokume). The staff is very friendly and the place offers a good atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing place and the food... cannot recommend highly enough...its a pity we live down South. Otherwise, I'd be there every week!!

Always have a good meal here, the menu has something for everyone. Hot and cold dishes, lots of veggie stuff and loads of meat from the charcoal BBQ. It's BYOB too so I always feel like it is good value for money💯

A great Syrian / Middle Eastern Restaurant. Decor and ambience is perfect for any occasion. Great flavours, perfect every time. Halal Menu, vegan options, and traditional dessert options that you usually won't find around here. Will be back to try more! Below is a Lamb dish, Elaf Grilled Chicken and Babaganouj Starter.

I think, because it is a bring your own booze, which works really well, that you only see the staff when they are delivering food. So if you are wanting soft drinks they aren't as attentive as you'd have in a different restaurant. However that is the only negative, the staff are lovely, the food is amazingly tasty, not like any other restaurant I've experienced in Macclesfield. Simply unique.

I ordered take away from here and honestly, it was exceptional! Every dish was delicious. They threw in a few extras as well which is always nice. They were extremely friendly when I picked up as well. So happy to have such great Middle Eastern food in Macc!

Really like it here! The food is delicious - especially the chicken kebab and the mousaka (me and my partner get the same thing every time) and any of the starters hot/cold are worth a try! But good food is only one thing. The service is always fast and friendly, we will often get something extra from the kitchen too. It's BYOB and there is a small corkage fee, so you can have anything to drink that you like. Decor is quirky and this place is always one of our first to recommend as they are consistently good.

Yes!!! So happy to have found this place tonight. For us it was perfect in every way. Amazing Arabic food and a lovely place to be. The staff really added to our experience. They are the friendliest, most sincere and helpful staff I've come across in a really long time and were absolute sweethearts with our children - I guess in the true Arabic way. Wish we lived closer to come more often but we will definitely be back soon. Thank you everyone at Elaf x

Had the most amazing meal at Elaf last night. Service was brilliant, the atmosphere was good and the food was incredible. The meat was so tender and the flavours were great. Definitely the best restaurant in Macclesfield, I would recommend Elaf to anyone.

My wife and I were visiting Macclesfield for the weekend and we were recommended to eat here. Not disappointed. Food, service were excellent. We overfilled ourselves on the starters as the menu made us get carried away. Mains were lovely but we were full so had to have these boxed up. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing, we came for a quick getaway for a few days, me and my son, and the people, the staff especially the young lady who looked after us... Honestly, amazing! She was so lovely and happy to help about the town, and just to say... The food! I took my mum here for her birthday meal, it was lovely! Staff were amazing, good was delicious! We way over ordered being our first time going so not knowing portion sizes but the staff were more than happy to bag it up for us! Will definitely go back 😁

The first impression was great when we were seated. Very educate and warm lady welcomed us. However.... My impression of the restaurant changed when I visited the toilets. Literally you could eat on the floor. It was immaculate! Bravo! The service was excellent and the food absolutely palatable, delightful.
