I think our timing was bad. The place is not air conditioned and feels like a hustle bustle place, we thought the food will compensate lack of ambience and comfort, but it didn't. In my experience it is only good for a quick meal not during Summers.

A Culinary Oasis in Pune - A Must-Try Gem! Words cannot express the sheer delight my girlfriend and I experienced during our visit to "Ya Basa" in Pune, Maharashtra. As two individuals hailing from different culinary backgrounds, we had been on a quest to find a restaurant that could truly satisfy our divergent tastes. Our search finally ended at "Ya Basa," and what a remarkable find it turned out to be! From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the attentive and knowledgeable waitress, Dipti. Her dedication and passion for her job were evident, and she guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. Without hesitation, she recommended the Crab (with bone) dish, promising an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience. Within a mere 15 minutes, our food arrived, beautifully presented and brimming with anticipation. As I took my first bite, memories of my grandmother's kitchen flooded my senses. The flavors were incredibly nostalgic, transporting me back to a time when every meal was a feast for the soul. I couldn't help but shed tears of happiness, grateful that Dipti had seemingly understood the cravings of my heart. My girlfriend, a true connoisseur of Uttarakhand cuisine, was equally captivated by the Maharashtrian touch in the dish. We also indulged in the Surmayi and paired it with the mouthwatering Dal Makhani and fragrant rice. Every bite was a revelation, a symphony of flavors that left us utterly speechless. It wasn't just the extraordinary food that left an impression on us—it was the meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of our dining experience. From the elegant presentation of each dish to the carefully curated playlist, Ya Basa demonstrated a commitment to excellence that surpassed our expectations. Beyond the culinary delights, we cannot praise Dipti enough for her exceptional service. Her warmth, knowledge, and genuine care made us feel as if we were the most important guests in the restaurant. We are convinced that she is the heart and soul behind the magic at Ya Basa. With complete abandon and without any fear of judgment, we relished every morsel, savoring not just the delectable food but also the cherished memories created in that unforgettable evening. If you are in Pune, "Ya Basa" is an absolute must-visit. Allow yourself to be transported on a culinary journey that will awaken your taste buds and touch your soul. Embrace the experience, and you will understand why we wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem. Thank you, Ya Basa, Thank You Chief Kushal and Dipti for creating a dining experience that will forever be etched in our hearts. ❤

Ambience is good, service is good too. About the food, we ordered crab lemon soup, Bombil rawa fry, prawns rawa fry and jira rice and daal. I just liked the crab soup. Rest everything was not that great, so you can visit there once and experience it by yourself. One more thing there is no parking space so you'll have to park in no parking.

Loved the food and the service here. The crab tawa masala was so delicious that even my husband who was a first time crab eater, relished it. Their signature chicken matka handi with the butter rotis is a match made in heaven.

Review - Ya Basa is a Punjabi Dhaba located in Baner. The food here is really tasty and it is also not too heavy on the pocket. The ambiance here is really nice and it makes you feel as if you are sitting in an actual dhaba somewhere in North India. The walls have some hilarious quotes that will definitely make you forget about counting the calories when eating here. They used to offer alcoholic drinks earlier, however, now alcohol is no longer served here. I would definitely recommend you to try this place once. The servers here are very polite and give amazing suggestions. Food - For starters we had Paneer 65 and Paneer Tikka, both were great with Paneer 65 being a little spicy but tasty. The masala papad was also nice. For the main course, we ordered veg Bhuna and Paneer Punjabi. Both of them were really tasty and definitely worth trying once. For roti, if you are a group of 6-8 people, it is best to order the Roti Basket, it contains plain roti, butter roti, butter naan, cheese garlic naan, missi roti as well as laccha paratha. You can try all of them and order more as per your liking. I would only suggest this (Roti basket) for a group of minimum 6 people. The jeera rice and dal were also really nice and authentic Punjabi taste. Negatives - The only reason for cutting 1 star in the review was, that when we reached the place, we were told that there was a 1+1 offer on their mocktails, however at the time of paying the bill, we were told that the offer was no longer applicable. That was the only negative experience. However, the place has a 25% offer on the Dineout app so that definitely is an added plus. And the three mocktails that we ordered, Guava merry, Mango blossom, and Strawberry Fizz, all three of them were so amazing that we did not mind paying for all of them at all. Overall, the place is really amazing and you can definitely visit here for a nice lunch, brunch or dinner.

We were a group of 7. We ordered crab dish. It was a starter cut into pieces. They served cutter as well but was not needed as the shell was soft. The cleaned crab dish is very less in quantity by the way (180gm). The staffs were excellent. The murg musallam dish was pretty good too enough for 6 people. The veg starter paneer chilly were very average and so the paneer balls in butter garlic. The starter had semi gravy texture. Which we didn’t like. Their chilly garlic noodles were spicy and really good by the way. Overall this place is good for non vegetarians.

Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We went on weekend around 8PM and place was not too crowded. Note that there is no space to park your car as there is metro work going on in front. Once you entered in hotel you will notice decorations all over the place with very creative ideas. I loved those. Note: the place is not air conditioned so keep that in mind if you are visiting in summer afternoon. We ordered Mutton Chop dry , Matka chicken Biryani , and soups. Biryani and mutton was nice but soup was okaiesh. Haven't tried seafood but we gonna definately visit here again and try it.

Situated just by the road so easy to locate, you don't need to worry about the parking as a valet is there to take care of it. The staff is polite and serves with a gentle attitude. The food was really delicious and the ambiance was great too.

Visited this place for dinner, This place is very neat, clean and tidy. Ambience is very good. It can host couples, small group of friends and large families also. Staff is very friendly, service is fast and good. About Food(⭐️⭐️⭐️) - I ordered munchow soup 🍲, Masala Papad, Tandoori pomfret, Laal maas, Butter roti and Gajar halwa for dessert. Soup was ok, Mutton laal maas was very spicy as I like it but it was little salty and dessert was good. Tandoori pomfret fish was very good though 👌 perfectly cooked and seasoned. Parking - for 2W ample amount of parking is avaliable but for 4W you have to find parking space nearby as metro work is going on the road is very narrow infront of hotel

This is the best to eat, drink and chill with your friends and even family in Kharadi. This place is famous for seafood especially. All the seafood that we tasted was fresh and was cooked in a best ways to make it taste best without losing the actual flavour of the said fish and lobster and crab. You even get the very best authentic Bengali dishes here. I have visited this place more than once by now. Our wait staff today, Maitreyi, suggested the dishes were the most amazing we ever had. This place has wonderful family friendly ambiance. It is the must visit for seafood lovers. Will definitely visit again.

One of the Seafood special restaurant who are on there toes to serve the best taste. Don't miss the सोलकढी. Lip smacking it is. Just train your mind not to divert to those mocktails although they are in offers.😜

If I had the option I would have given a rating in minus. The food was horrible. We had ordered egg fried rice and veg Manchurian. It was not fresh and the taste was very bad. We couldn't take another bite of Manchurian, it was that bad. They served us chicken curry instead of veg and didn't even tell us. I won't recommend this to anyone. Total waste of money.

Me and my wife visited this place. It it neat and clean but we didn't like the food. Paneer 65 was served with gravy. I have never seen paneer 65 with gravy. Pomfret rava fry was like more of Rava only. She hardly find Pomfret. And I saw first time that pomfret is being served in pieces. I got nervous when I came to know that beer and drinks are not being served. For goodwill we ordered above two dishes and went out to other restaurant.

Had a great time in Ya Basa The Dhaba. They have good options in lobster, crabs and in so many sea food. Also they provide good hospitality. Non-vegetarian's must try this restaurant👍

The atmosphere is quite and nice, staff was polite but the food was just ok. We had to complain for a fresh butter roti which was given to us later, but ideally you should not wait for the customer to ask for fresh food. It shouldn't have been served to us in the first place. We have veg kesari which was just average, gravy had no good taste in it. Cheese chilly naan was good

After doing so much of experiments I was tired to do the experiments trying vegetarian food at new place...but I saw the unusual....A Marathi name to a Punjabi Dhaba...I was amazed seeing this and decided to take a risk and had food over here....it was worth trying....I can give 4star for food but complete 5star for service....the staff were too hospitable and specially the Captain Dipti she was so humble and having a good knowledge about handling customers and suggested the required taste....loved it.

Visited this place yesterday. This a second location of Ya basa dhaba. First one is located in kharadi. Both the places have almost same ambiance. We had ordered Murgh Rara Masala which was good with that we had butter & garlic naan and kulcha. The naans and kulcha didn't have any salt in them and when we pointed out we were told that's how it is because the curry is salty so they don't put salt in their Naan/roti. I don't know this is the first time I have heard this, it may be a thing Im just not sure about it. Make sure to confirm this while placing the order. Then we ordered Chicken Dum Biryani and it was amazing. 🤩 I would definitely suggest this place for for Chicken Biryani. I'm definitely gonna visit again to try other stuff.
