Every time we come here, it's an amazing experience. The establishment always has clean, and fast service. The food is prepared fresh, and it shows through its taste. It's a calm environment, with very competent and sensible waiters. May be the best spot to get authentic Puerto Rican food here in the panhandle for sure! Definitely give them a try. Get to experience a tiny bit of proper Puerto Rican cuisine ❤️

You know a restaurant is good when you see a room full of locals, construction workers and military soldiers eating. The food served reminded me of my visit to Puerto Rico--DELICIOUS! My husband had the carne frita and I had pernil and tostones. It was also very reasonably priced. Thank you Papis!! 😋

Excellent food and value. Buffet style, means you order your delicious food at the counter, and they will bring it to you at your table. Nice atmosphere, clean, spacious, and very welcoming. Boricuas will feel right at home, but menu is bilingual, so don’t hold back. Highly recommended.

Best food ever I could eat this everyday and not get tired. Paid 130 for 7 people and we ate so good literally changed our tastebuds.

Great food! Generous portions. Laid back setting with Caribbean music and Spanish being spoken in the background. Thought I was on another island 😉 My wife got the fried chicken (chicharrones de pollo) and I got the chuletas fritas (fried pork chops). Each entree has a large serving of meat, and comes with one side and a little bit of salad (lechuga y tomate) but if you get arroz con habichuelas, for example, it’s really like two sides (beans and rice). Food was very tasty, just like you’d expect of homemade Puerto Rican food. If your in Destin, fort Walton, or Navarre - make the drive, you won’t be sorry.

What an absolute pleasure it was to walk into this place. We were greated by the nicest people who were genuinely excited about their food and willing to walk us through the Menu. It's always a good sign when the passion for their food is felt by the entire staff. And once the food was delivered, it was obvious why. Everything was incredible. If I lived here, it would be a regular stop for us. We did have a local with us who will definitely be coming back and was already spreading the word. Believe the reviews, this is where you need to stop!

Wow! This food is amazing. I feel like I am in Puerto Rico, and a family invited me to eat dinner at their house. There are so many choices to select. Don't miss out on this place.

I have tried homemade food from Puerto Rico before and this place didn't disappoint. The food was amazing, el ambiente se sentía muy contento. This place makes you want to come back and try the rest of the menu. This will be on one of my top list for dining in FWB. 🍽

We was looking for tropical food and this restaurant was a really nice surprise! The mofongo with shrimp was just AMAZING! We also order from the menu of the day and pernil, rice, plantains and beans was AWSOME. My kid loved the food too and he usually is a little picky to eat. I do really recommend this place if you are looking for the best Puerto Rican food in the area! Also the staff is very very nice and the place super clean.

If you haven't been, you are missing out. Order off the menu, or they have a lot of items already cooked. Walk through the line and tell them what you want. Roasted chicken is so good. The pigeon rice is delicious. Staff is so nice and helpful. The restaurant is super clean!! Portions are huge for the price. Highly recommend!

It was really good. Everything was fresh and cooked nicely. The chicken was a bit tough, but better to be safe than sorry with cooking it. Shrimp were darn near perfect and the BEANS?! WOW! Best beans I've had anywhere. The rice was really well cooked and had a light season, possibly just butter but whatever. It was good

CORREN para allá. Some of the best Puerto Rican food I’ve tried in the United States (and I’ve lived in nyc for 7 years and 5 years in PR). The pork shoulder was so flavorful, the cuerito super crunchy! The yuca was perfection and the arroz con gandules con habichuela guisada were *chef kiss*. Finished my meal with a cafecito. It was so comforting and the perfect lunch (and dinner since the portions are so large). So like i said, NO SE PIERDAN Y HECHA PARA ALLÁ 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Low key, order your food at the register, sit and be served deliciously prepared Puerto Rican fare. I had the Mofongo and steak side of rice and gandules and sweet ripe fried plantain. My wife had the mofongo with creole sauce and chicken. Both were excellent. If you want a Puerto Rican food fix this is the place. Great friendly service as you should expect from Puerto Ricans.

One of our fav local restaurants in FWB if you want authentic Puerto Rican food. The pork and rice and beans are my favorite. 10 out of 10.

We stopped by during our vacation and was the best decision. The food was on point and very authentic. The alcapurrias remind me of my childhood and the Mofongo with pollo and carne frita, wow 5 stars. The food was so flavorful and the portion was good for what we paid. The environment is like being in Puerto Rico and the people super nice. Guys you have it all! Your food reminded me of home. 100 %A

Flew in from Barstow, CA, for a visit to our have to finish a Florida foodie hit list before I leave, and Papis was recommended. It a decision well made. The food was awesome hot and very Sabroso. Had to have the basic PR food so I went with the Cuban sandwich and pork Mofongo. Service was courteous and friendly since we had a few menu questions, which they were all too willing to answer.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, we almost didn’t go in, but inside, it is beautifully decorated. As for the food, the only way to get more authentic and flavorful Puerto Rican food would be to go to PR and get a home cooked meal from abuela, but even then it’d be pretty close. Excellent customer service, reasonable prices, hands down some of the best food I’ve tasted. The wings were flavorful but cold. Mofongo was delicious but if you don’t like garlic it’s not for you. The music was fantastic, lots of Tito Rojas (El Gallo) songs. It felt like being in PR. Clean restrooms and it smelled good too. We ordered from the menu which i believe is pricier than ordering from what’s available a la carte.

As we were passing through we decided to stop in. First I’ll state my positives extremely friendly staff and very clean dinning area. Food came out very fast. I order the Cuban Sandwich I left full, but rather unimpressed by the sandwich. The meat was average not as good as I was hoping for. A one time stop for me. If you are in the mood for Puerto Rica food, I’d give them a shot.

We really enjoyed breakfast at this spot! I had the 3 eggs, jamón, and toast. My partner had the Cuban. The quality of the ingredients was great. Felt and tasted authentic. Our favorite was the sweet plantains. The service was so friendly and welcoming. The prices are very, very reasonable. The building looks small on the outside, but it is spacious inside with a fun vibe and outdoor seating in the back. We seriously recommend this joint.

The food was really good, especially the rice and meats. They were out of pastellilos (appetizer) which I wanted to try. Got the potato balls instead and it was pretty good. I think the lunch specials are a very good deal and that’s what everyone was getting. People got food right away off of their food line and I had trouble ordering because the menu was so far away and I wasn’t familiar with the dishes at the line. I wish they had pictures or food names accompanying the line. The chicken and beef were flavorful but the beef was pretty pricy for the portion. I loved the sweet plantains. The restaurant was very warm inside to the point of discomfort and the bathroom was worse. There was no AC just to note. I’d probably just get takeout next time.

The food was pretty good but the Cuban sandwich was amazing! The only issue was the whole place smelled like Fabuloso cleaner, and that smell was so strong you couldn’t smell any food and it kind of takes away your appetite. It’s good to know that they are clean but when you go somewhere to eat it would be nice to smell food. Also one of the workers and I’m assuming a customer stood at the end of the table we were eating at and had her foot on the seat we were sitting at which was very rude and we had to get up and move tables.
