Stayed as a guest of a long term tenant here, didn't have any prospective of service to speak of. But the grounds were clean, and the rooms were rather well furnished, a comfortable size, and has a swimming pool/barbecue area for tenants, and rather ample parking also. Quite nice compared to some of the communal accommodation facilities around Fraser Coast.

Very nice staff, the showers are great and the food is cheap and yummy. But when we got into our lodge, the kettle had ants in it. The tv keeps turning off for no reason, and the single beds are thin and cheap. The spa is the same temperature as the pool, and the pool area in general seems like it hadn't been renovated for 10 years.

Great hosts, very helpful. Our unit was very spacious, comfy and clean. Kitchen had every thing we needed to prepare meals if we didnt want to eat out. Laundry well equipped, nice to hang clothes in the sunshine. Nice swimming pool although we didnt use it. Booked for one night, stsyed for three. Thanks Andre

Fantastic location in Hervey Bay. The rooms are a great size, very clean with super comfy beds. Andre and Ronaly were fanatic hosts, made us feel so welcome. Defiantly be staying again. Ideal location and genuine hospitality

3 months ago we booked a 3 night stay at our favourite Colonial Lodge Hervey Bay, stayed many times, love the motels, so quiet, our queen bed which is a must and everything so clean and tidy. However this time we were put in a unit at Hervey Bayline on the Esplanade, very noisy at night, only a double bed and not up to the standard of the Lodge motels. Had we wanted a second rate unit by the beach we would have booked one and not paid top dollar for it either. We were so disappointed seems we might have to find another motel for the future.

Found this hotel by chance and found it to be not only great value for money but also immaculate. Beautiful pool area, big bedroom,.nice comfortable lounge, self contained kitchen and a very modern bathroom. The owners couldn't be more helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Hervey Bay area.

Motel room was immaculate, seemed like we were the first ones here it was so clean. Everything seemed new, beds very comfy, aircon was sooo good in the heat, has full kitchen with cookware and crockery/cutlery so we could make our own food and even prepare fish we caught. Andre’s a great bloke, very helpful and talkative. Nothing but five stars for Colonial Lodge!

Great location/ value for money. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The owner was very helpful with tours and the go to places in Harvey bay. Thankyou for a great stay, look forward to returning soon.
