The Hervey bay Westside water park is awesome. It is a free water park 3 small children's water slides, a bucket, several in ground water spouts and toddler smaller water spout. Right next to the beautiful Hervey bay beach. And.did I mention it's FREE! They have. A toilet, and changing area block with lockers. Several seats and tables are located throughout the park. There is a beautiful sculpture of a whale in the middle of the peak. A cafe next to the front of the water park. There is a bigger paid slide at the end of the park. There is a wooden balcony overlooking the water. The water park is semi covered in the toddler side area however other than that it's all open. Big trees are located near the front of the park and offers a bit of shade on sunny hot days. There is several parking areas. It is wheelchair accessible.

A great community facility, seating areas and decks could be kept cleaner for 5 stars

Great place for kids (young and young at heart), plenty of free off street parking around, with a delicious cafe next door and the gorgeous beach in front. The renovations/maintenance have made it even better. Plenty of shaded areas, change rooms/bathrooms, and friendly lifeguards around. Love bringing my littles here

Hard to get a good park for your car, but in term of water parks for your kids this is one of the best $6 for 10 rides on the slide is excellent value on average that will keep them entertained for around 3 hours of they mix in the rest of the park as well. The food joints attached are reasonable priced and will presented as well. The mister whippy that hangs or in the parking lot is literally the cream on top. Overall no visit to Harvey Bay is complete without a visit to this park. Highly Recommended.

One of the most amazing free water parks in Queensland. Areas for big or little kids. My son loves Wetside and that's our favourite place to visit when we come up to Hervey bay. Now with the playground and skate park next to it we love it even more.

This is a beautiful park for the children. The water park is free.. Yes hard to believe free. There is a water slide & a wave pool where you have to pay, to try out your surfing skills but that is suited to older children if say. There is a beach you can go to if you want as well.. There are huge trees that the tables and chairs are nestled under. A lot of shade but still hard at times to find a seat. I've only been there during school holidays. They have a coffee shop to keep the adults happy and a cafe to purchase food, drinks and icecreams. Overall an amazing place..

This was a great afternoon out for adults & kids. Take a picnic lunch & enjoy an arvo in the water park or add 10 slide goes for $6.50. Low cost entertainment for all.

Great facility, good experience for the kids. Water is a bit cold though and since this park is by the beach, it can get very windy. It's fun for a little while, but can get cold!

Kids loved it, we were able to relax knowing they were enjoying themselves, and it's free, well you pay for the large slides but that is even very reasonable too at $5 for 10 turns

Great for the kids but the water is a bit cold, kids didn't last long! Toilets were clean and functional. Great to be staffed by a lifeguard, especially considering it's free.

Excellent place for kids and kids at heart to visit. We only wish the Sunshine Coast and SEQ would follow suit by adding more free water parks for us all to enjoy.

What a great water park for young and old alike! Lots of water fun for everyone - interesting informative plaques giving kids facts and figures about our most precious resources! Watch out for when the bucket fills and hold your breath!! Mum n Dad can relax with coffee and a cake while kids can play in safety! They say the best things in life are free - Wet Side is just that! Thanks to Maryborough Council!!

Hard to believe the place was free - bucketloads of fun and lovely shady areas for parents to sit.

This place is amazing! Water Park directly at the beach, so you can park for free here, clean toilets and then visit this awesome water park for free. There is a campsite directly next to the park, which I have visited twice now! Great place for a stopover in Hervey Bay, known for whale watching.

Insane that it's FREE!!!! Great water park for the kids. My only negative is the slide should be say $10 for unlimited rides not $8 for 10 rides but small issues

Best water park ever. Once myself and my cousin arrived early on a cooler day and they turned on the water features for just us 2, amazing fun for little ones. Make this a destination on your trip to Hervey Bay.

Awesome location place to park sit and eat big space and beautiful to look at the big slides only open on the weekend and you have to pay but prices are reasonable.

Really great for kids of all ages. TotSide is great! They have little water jets that shoot out from a variety of areas and they alternate so the babies try to rush from one to the next. The water is nice and clean, there's a shade sail for cover, and plenty of nearby seating areas for the adults. Good facilities too.

Free and is a large water park for the youngsters and young at heart. The bigger water slides were a hit and at $7 for 10 goes not to bad.

Fun experience for the whole family! Water Park is free. Pay for slides and ninja course. Food on site. Get in early to nab a table! A must do when visiting Hervey Bay.

We had a great time by the Bay the kids loved the slide. So did the adults haha $7 bucks for 10 rides. Must see and go and do 😁😁😁😁

The park itself was awesome, but the payment system is terrible. I'd much prefer paying MORE per child to have unlimited goes down the slide, rather than paying for a limited amount. In addition to this. The scanners weren't working properly. My young daughter was meant to get 10 turns, she only got 6, she missed out because she's not confident enough to speak up about it, so she was really upset afterwards in the car.

👍👍 A little bit limited for younger kids, but great for slightly older kids or adults alike. The climbing frame was really quite tall, and there's a height recommendation for kids who want to climb this and go down one of the tree large slides. Otherwise, there's a sandpit with diggers, swings, small c...
