As
I
was
preparing
for
an
extended
trip,
I
realized
I
would
run
out
of
medication
while
away.
I
called
the
office
and
asked
if
I
scheduled
my
next
appointment
if
they
would
authorize
a
refill.
They
scheduled
my
appointment
and
assured
me
they
would
refill
the
medication.
Late
that
evening
I
received
a
notification
from
CVS
that
they
had
denied
my
refill
request.
The
next
day
I
tried
calling
several
times
(they
rarely
answer
the
phone)
and
when
I
finally
got
ahold
of
someone
she
snappily
replied
βI
donβt
know
who
told
you
that,
Rick
himself
said
you
could
not
have
more
medication.β
That
was
unprofessional,
but
Iβm
used
to
this
behavior
at
this
point
and
I
asked
why
no
one
would
call
me
to
alert
me
if
I
had
made
it
clear
I
would
be
leaving
the
state?
She
said
she
would
have
βRick
call
me.β
He
never
did.
I
called
back
multiple
times,
even
the
after
hours
exchange
and
no
one
ever
returned
my
call.
They
left
me
out
of
state
without
medication,
that
very
clearly
states
not
to
quit
it
abruptly.
Thankfully
my
PCP
was
able
to
call
in
a
prescription
while
I
was
away.
This
practice
is
rude,
unprofessional
and
unethical.
Read
the
other
reviews,
I
would
strongly
advise
against
trusting
your
care
here.
