Had a great time here yesterday. Tammy, the bartender, was really fun and gave EXCELLENT customer service, which is becoming so rare these days. The food portions are huge, so if you're hungry, eat here!

Looked interesting on the outside. Went in the saloon and the service was polite and on top of their game. The food was delish. Will definitely be back. Oh the bathroom was clean & tidy also!!

Cajun sampler was pretty good but each one tasted too similar. Your red beans & rice and gumbo should be distinctly different . cornbread was great. Should a tried the crab cake BLT

Rude and terrible place in the Soulard area. Awful service and very Unprofessional manager. Please read most of the reviews, most of the 5 star reviews are paid. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place shuts down soon. However the short manager guy and their African American security in the arcade was on next level. Food was decent

Cool joint with live music. The night I was there was a Saturday and they had a fun uptempo bluesy style band that all crammed in to a corner. Live music isn't normally my thing, but on this night it was perfect for keeping the vibe positive and energetic. Unfortunately was not here to eat really, so cannot comment on the New Orleans style food, but there pizza was surprisingly good considering I had no expectation. When we got there around 7 it was mostly dead, but by 9 the place was full.

Great place with some of the best chicken strips the Lou has to offer. Thick. Crunchy. Hot. Great texture with a nice kick. Friendly staff with a great atmosphere! Pretty quick service for 2 bartenders! Happy and impressed.

Great drinks, food, and fun with tons of cool, friendly folks from the locally born and raised to the visitors from all around the world come here. This is only a brief description of the excitement you'll have here. Great selection of beers such as my favorite IPA's like Space Dust and Killian's Irish Red, or all the original greats, Anheuser-Busch freshly made me whistle wetters... It's a new, different, wonderful experience every time I go here, no matter what time of the year!!!

Food was excellent, affordable, and nice portions. The staff was very friendly and proficient. The service was great and timely in the café section. The saloon the staff was excellent and friendly. The atmosphere in both areas was very friendly and jovial. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. When the band started the atmosphere in the saloon was even better. It was like everyone new each other. People conversed with people they just met. They danced with people they just met. It was great fun

My husband and I stopped at 1860 Saloon for lunch on our road trip through the states before Christmas. During our trip, we spent time in 7 states and 10 cities and this was the most memorable restaurant of our trip. We were there earlier in the day in the middle of the week so it was not too crowded. The atmosphere was very nice and casual with good music and friendly people. The history of the three bars/restaurants together was awesome to learn. Our server was incredible. She was extremely kind and funny to talk to and went out of her way to show us all three places and talked a little about the history of each after our meal was finished. The saloon had regulars and you can tell they all loved her by the way everyone interacted, making the place feel like a hometown restaurant you'd regularly go in your vicinity. The food itself was to die for. Large portions, great prices and an incredible taste. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to eat, stop here! If we are ever back in this area, we know where our first stop will be!

Wasn’t quite sure what to expect here. Looked like a local watering hole. The band was outstanding and entertaining. The chicken tenders were out this world . Juicy and delicious! Service was on top of it!

Live music was good. The food was less than appealing and the air was not on. We still enjoyed ourselves.

The bar is a good place for groups to meet and has a neighborhood bar vibe, which is exactly what it is, and the service was great. However, I paid almost $11 for chips and salsa after a tip. The chips were stale while the salsa was fine. I did hear from others that the loaded tots are really good, but I didn't try them.

I went there for music on Mardi gras. Actually on fat tuesday. There was no music until later in the evening. Years ago this is one of the establishments that used to play live music on Fat Tuesday regardless of the day of the week. I did not order food. I did order a drink but it was an apple flavored whiskey made by the company of the whiskey I ordered. It was pretty unpleasant to me. However because it was my birthday the bartender did not charge me for it. But it's a great place to hear music. The stage is in the same place it always has been and it's really cool intimate environment for music

Great bar in Soulard. My favorite. Food is solid. Drinks are drinks, games and a restaurant in the back. But up front is where the magic is. They'll have live bands often. Usually blues bands, brass instruments in a band make the band. They always have great talent playing. Must visit spot in STL/Soulard

I absolutely love 1860s. The vibe there is all around chill every age demographic and they serve the best food.!!!!!!! The live music ranges from absolutely incredible Elvis. Tribute Everett Dean to 4 non blondes to just about any amazing genre there Like Gene amazing bands or acoustic- or jazz and blues. Grab your dancing shoes or just whip on your tennis shoes and head on down to the corner of the best bars in St Louis. Most shows are totally free and if you're not feeling the music you can always head down to the game room and have some fun with your friends All love all accepting all supportive and just a good damn time. Once noticed, I was served quickly. The crab cakes are on point but the salad was less than desirable. It did not match the description from the menu. I will not eat here again but I may drink here.

Food was horrible. Service was the same. Placed to go order for hot wings. Asked for my wings to be fried hard. Got all the way home for my wings to be undercooked. Also not fried hard. My mother called staff was so rude and ignorant. Basically told my mom she should've ordered the sauce on the side. Also tough sugar honey ice tea write a review if it was so bad. So here we are.

I met a group of friends for lunch. We were in the saloon. They have a good selection of drink and food. I had the Cajun Sampler. You get beans and rice, jambalaya and gumbo. All were very tasty. I also drank Yuengling on draft, excellent. Our bar tender, Pam, is one of the best in the St Louis area.

Took their shuttle to the Cards game. Our go to Social House was closed. Ready to board the shuttle and discovered we needed a ticket . Meaning you need to make a purchase. Fine ! ..... Put up a sign to let people know !!! No purchase required at Social House.... we tip them handsomely.

This is one of my favorite bars to go to in St. Louis. There are 3 separate bar rooms and I have been to all 3. Each one has a different vibe and something for everyone! The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the drinks are always great, and the bartenders and friendly and fun! I definitely recommend this bar to basically anyone!

I had the most pleasant bartender (Chris???) He was the sweetest person and held great conversations and had a really good drink suggestions. This was my first time getting out and about in St Louis, but I'm excited to come back and visit this establishment again.

Went there to catch the shuttle for the Cardinal game, got a few appetizers and a bucket of beers, our waitress Therese, what a great person, very nice, professional, friendly and an asset to this establishment… food was excellent… we have just found our shuttle family to the cardinal games. Thank you… Happy patron

This place is crazy!! I’ve been to many premium cocktail bars, and never in my life have I paid $20 dollars for a Hendricks martini. 12 dollars even at an exquisite cocktail lounge is top of the line but to see 20 dollars on the tab for a tiny martini was absolutely ridiculous, and no one could explain why that was so crazy. Three drinks sitting in lawn chairs inside a barn, for 65 bucks is pretty insane if you ask me. Make sure you inquire about prices before you get robbed blindly, not sure what kind of establishment this is, the server was fantastic though.

Today, January 9th 2022,around 11:30am I was looking for a quick bite to eat in the Soulard area and ran across this location. Walked in and I didn’t know the seating arrangements because I had a party of 5 so I asked was there any other tables than the area I was in. The server stated that there was more in the “front” but with it being my first time there I didn’t know the front back or middle of the location. So I asked the server behind the bar could we grab a seat and I guess she was tired of my 2 questions that I asked so she rolled her eyes and body language went completely left. So I decided to leave out and under her breath she mumbled “Good leave then”. If I could rate this location less than one star I would, but best believe I won’t be giving it a second chance. ~ J.G

A pretty fun time with great music, appropriately surly bartenders and all the soulard culture you can handle.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. Very calm and pleasant atmosphere. We were seated immediately and there wasn't a long wait for our food. We received our food in good timing. The food was tasteful and just the right portions. Everyone was pleased with their meal and my brother placed an order to go. The waitress was very professional, nice and courteous. She came back to check to see if we needed anything. It was a pleasant customer service and food experience. I would definitely go back and recommend the restaurant to others.

I Always love this place. Great love music, good drinks and nice people. Their food is actually really good too. Parking sucks if it's busy though.

My favorite bar! Incredible service by awesome people. Food and drinks are good and priced well. Overall it's a fun place. There are 3 levels, so you get something different from each. I highly recommend checking out 1860s!! Update: Parking may cost 5$ on some nights, but you get a ticket that gives you $5 off.

The Cajun food was great, pizza was alright, bathrooms were clean. I found this when I typed “family restaurant” and when we got there the game room was just typical bar games. Darts, foosball etc, so not super kid friendly
