I ordered a Gluten Free pizza and received it delivered cut in quarters which were pretty big slices as well as the cheese not fully melted, the crust flimsy and a little chewy and cold. Barely any sauce on the pizza but on the outer edge and overall tasteless and sad that it cost me $25 and I didn’t want to eat it after trying my first couple bites. I gave 2 stars because my significant others regular 12in pizza he got himself was cooked and he liked it, but mine was awful.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I Love The holy shiitake mushroom pizza. The spinach dip is awesome too. Plenty of beer selections on tap. I typically sit at the bar, Austin is awesome. And he's very helpful, talkative, friendly, and makes great beer suggestions. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely rad restaurant love the atmosphere and the food was outstanding!!! Kids loved the outdoor area too playing corn hole game. Would highly recommend this place

Groovy aesthetic and good smells. The menu had a lot going for it. Tried the Holy Shitake Pie and was a bit worried but didn't need to be as the cooks masterfully balanced rhe mushrooms, garlic, and cheese to make an awesome pizza! The staff were very nice and helpful and there was such a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Our family really enjoyed Mellow Mushroom. The cheese pizza was a hit - the sauce is delicious. The Holy Shitake Pie was great! The Loaded Potato pizza was ok - not as flavorful as the other two. The staff was friendly. The parking lot was full but we were seated right away since there was so much seating inside and outside. We will return when in St Louis again.

Ate here on a Thursday with my book club. A lively and unique atmosphere right off the bat! They have a bar, tons of seating, many TVs, and an outdoor patio with yard games. A great place to get a salad and pizza. I enjoyed the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter on draft. The mushroom pizza was very good. You can order gluten free crust if you wish! I'd eat here again.

What a terrific experience at Mellow Mushroom. Our server Tiffany was outstanding! I cannot praise her enough, she made our visit extra special. The atmosphere is wonderful and we got to sit outside in the patio and enjoy the lovely summer weather. Their gluten free Holy Shiitake pizza is something we talk about when we're eating other gluten free pizzas, as a comparison, since it's just so so so good. We always like to try another pizza while we're there, so we tried the Maui Wowie gluten free pizza, as well. It was very tasty but the shiitake pizza emerged triumph again, as the obvious winner. I don't know what sauce is on that pizza, but it's the best thing we've ever tasted, and we will most certainly be back soon!

We've been to many Mellow Mushroom's up and down the east coast and they never seem to disappoint! They are always delicious, unique, creative and so fun! This one was no different with its outdoor eating space and various art pieces it was a pleasure to visit. And our server Nicole was awesome! She was attentive, patient and very accommodating 😊 We had the Great White pizza it was delicious!

This place has amazing pizzas and other food! The atmosphere is great and the service is magnificent! We got lucky this visit and missed the lunch rush but beat the dinner rush so there was no waiting and super fast service. Highly recommend this place and their delicious food and drinks!

First time at this chain. Really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is fun with the groovy decor. The staff was friendly. They've got a full bar with lots on tap, and a monthly beer special. The pizza was good, nice dough for the crust. The pretzels are made to order and really good. Salad was great. Only criticism was the soup could have been hotter.

This is probably the best pizza I have ever had. Tops all pizza restaurants. The only thing better is in New York from what I hear. They even have some alcoholic drinks that are fantastic.

Mellow Mushroom has always been a favorite of mine since they opened. Tonight I tried the Cloud 9 Wings which were flavorful to the last bite. Also went ahead and had the Beer of the Month from Voodoo Ranger " Atomic Pumpkin". I have to say its not like most pumpkin beers that all taste mostly the same. Nice pumpkin flavor with a good kick of cinnamon spice. As far as pizza goes, I had the House Special minus the Funguy.... Definitely a good choice for pizza.

The pizza we had was really good but the house salad I was not happy with. The toppings were not cut up , just big chunks. Good pizza though.

One of the best experiences I've had eating out in St. Louis. Just walking into a restaurant that smells deeply of mushrooms is a blessing. Yum! I asked to sit outside--it was 50 and getting warmer--and got to sit in their "beer garden," a heated indoor/outdoor area, with the doors open and a lovely breeze. Best of both worlds! I ordered the Enlightened Spinach Salad and the Magic Mushroom Soup. I have some dietary restrictions and it can be sad to have to say no to pizza, calzones, pretzels... But this soup and salad did not feel like a consolation prize! The soup had a bit of a floury texture, like maybe it wasn't fully blended, but the flavor was incredible, with more mushrooms added for texture. And the salad had bits of apple, nuts, dried cherries, feta cheese... I had it with the balsamic vinaigrette instead of the pomegranate açai dressing, and I would recommend that change highly. Somehow my food only added up to $13. And the soup and salad together were so filling I actually took some soup home. My waitress was so kind. She switched out a drink for me without any hint of annoyance, brought me a to go container, and checked on me often. I made sure she received a fair tip, not just for all that but because this is a difficult time for restaurants and it's important to appreciate them. I used the restroom before leaving, and was impressed with the unisex, accessible, family restroom. Way to set the standard! Will definitely be returning.

Delicious we eat there every time we can, it can get busy but there is plenty of parking and has out door seating the pretzels delicious and so is their pizza 5star highly recommends

We had a great late summer / early fall Saturday night experience on the patio outside. Our server was amazing — plus great live music, fantastic food, and affordable drinks.

Really good food and excellent service. You do have to wait a while for the food, but that's fine if you're on a date and don't have anywhere to be for a while. It's a little pricey, but very good nonetheless. They take gluten & dairy allergies very seriously and can make a pizza fully vegan and gluten free.

Always a wonderful place to get a good pizza. Went there last night to enjoy good pizza and a drink (sorry forgot to take a picture of the drink). The pizza however is always marvelous, along with some starting salads, my dinner companion and I had a wonderful time. The staff is always friendly our waiter this time was very good and the atmosphere pleasant with some pre season football and baseball on the tvs.

The service was great! Pizza was bland🤢bruschetta taste like I was eating tomatoe and bread😒

Very cool place with a large menu of food and drink. Had one of the pizzas which was amazing. Partner and I ordered a medium, had two pieces each, but had to take the last two pieces home. They had a beer of the month which was also great. Food was timely for pizza. Would love to go back and try more.

We had to sit outside because there were no tables inside. Luckily it was a nice day and a live band was playing outside. Server was super friendly and attentive. The pizza was good but the outer crust was so thick on 1/2 of our pizza only had toppings on a small part of pizza. Spinach dip was delicious.

Mellow mushroom is an awesome place with a super relaxed vibe. Extremely kid friendly, well just friendly overall honestly 🙂. They have a great menu selection offering a range of traditional and vegan options. Now what makes mellow mushroom so special for my family is that our youngest is allergic to dairy and this is one of the few pizza places that offers vegan cheese. GAME CHANGER!!! I cannot express how happy this made him as pizza is his absolute favorite food! So, THANK YOU mellow mushroom!!! Not only is vegan cheese an option, it is actually delicious (which cannot be said often lol) and their dairy cheese pizza is great as well. Best of both worlds.

It was our first time out as a family in a long time. Great pizza but I can’t say the same for the service. Our food didn’t come for almost 2 hours, our waitress was avoiding us and too busy playing around with her coworkers to care. We bought $200 worth of food and didn’t even get to enjoy it after being set into a bad mood. The kids were ready to go and the babies were fussy by the time we got our food. Some of the staff take the establishments name a little to serious and it comes off as if they just straight up don’t care.

Not very pleased. Multiple poor experiences with curbside. They need to get rid of it if they aren't going to ever bring your pizza out. Always frustrated drivers going inside just to get their pizza. Not the end of the world to not have curbside, but then stop offering it. Pizzas are usually pretty doughy. This last time my $28 large house special was almost uncooked in the middle and looked like a medium in the large box. Very over priced for the quality and poor service.

All I can say is holy shiitake. We visited here for the first time, and as mushroom lovers at a mushroom theme restaurant we had to go with the most mushrooms pizza. It was so good. The toppings were perfect and the crust was flavorful and had a great chew. The only thing that made this visit less the awesome is there were a whole lot of kids and the space really echos, so if you want to enjoy the cool chill vibe the decor and art is trying to convey you probably won't be able to. I will definitely make another visit, but i probably won't be dining in.

The place attracted us for it's fancy name and the yum pictures on the reviews. We decided to go with what they do best - pizzas and calzones. We were mighty disappointed. We got the calzones delivered via Uber Eats. The calzone was cold, raw, and had very little filling. We got two cheese calzones, one with meatballs and roasted tomatoes and the other one was grilled chicken and pineapple. The meatballs had very little sauce and the tomatoes were okay. Nothing that I would rave about. The chicken wasn't grilled at all. It tasted boiled with salt and pepper added. The pineapple was the only saving grace. The chicken calzone was very doughy and undercooked. We tried to bake some of it in the oven, but it wasn't edible and unpalatable. Had high hopes from this place, but it didn't do much for us. I would much rather recommend Sauce on the Side. It has delicious flavors, a lot more options, and some massive portions.

This art-filled pizzeria is very clean and beautifully decorated. Customer service is excellent, servers are very polite and informative. Outside patio is cozy, decorated, and nice. They use fresh ingredients, and they make really good stone baked pizzas. This time I had take out dinner, but I’ll definitely be back here with my friends. They have great selection of crafted beers, wines and fresh cocktails (free from dyes, high fructose corns syrup. All natural ingredients!). One of the most important things for me, when it comes to restaurant rating, is restroom cleanliness. For this place I’ll give 5* because everything was extremely clean. Excellent food, great drinks, beautiful interior and exterior, clean restrooms, great customer service. Well deserved 5*!

Just tried mellow mushroom for a recent date night with my husband and it was absolutely fantastic. Their shareable pitchers are fun and reasonably priced for alcohol. I absolutely love their menu design. Their pizza choices were wide and all sounded delicious. I love their unique take on pizzas. We ordered the local speciality of a loaded potato pizza and it was DELICIOUS 🤤 They are a bit expensive in terms of pizza cost, but I think you get what you pay for and their value was worth it. Most of their medium pizzas are about $21 each and easily fed me and my husband. But I'd rather pay $21 for a delicious unique pizza than $18 for a dominos basic pizza. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be going back.

I had someone never been to a Mellow Mushroom before, so I enjoyed my first trip there with a friend not too long ago. We had a hard time choosing and ended up splitting a big ole pizza with leftovers galore. Considering MM is a chain, this location definitely had "local vibes" so they seem to adapt well to the city/region they find themselves in.

Mellow Mushroom never disappoints. This time around I ordered for Curbside pickup. I waited in the Curbside spot for about 10 minutes. It probably would have been easier to have just selected pickup. However, the staff that checked for the readiness of my order and the employee that brought it out were extremely pleasant. The pizza I ordered was fantastic! But by far the best thing I got was the pretzel bites with beer cheese! I definitely recommend these to anyone teeter tottering about an appetizer. The beer cheese is one of the best I've ever had. Overall, great experience!
