😠 We were so excited to bring a donation to Operation Food Search but we didn't feel as if they cared and didn't especially need it. The warehouse was filled with food from floor to ceiling. It didn't look like anyone should go without food. The woman at the front desk was very busy with her phone. I... People often mention people,

We were so excited to bring a donation to Operation Food Search but we didn't feel as if they cared and didn't especially need it. The warehouse was filled with food from floor to ceiling. It didn't look like anyone should go without food. The woman at the front desk was very busy with her phone. I just hope she was a volunteer and not a paid employee. That comes across as rude. Also I didn't know their correct lingo- I said 'food pantry' and the woman at the desk thought it was necessary to inform me that it wasn't a food pantry but a food Bank! She had to say it as if I would be tested on that information next time. I asked if they needed volunteers- twice but never got an answer. I tried donating at another food pantry but they didn't seem appreciative either. Too bad for the people that need help.

A good place to consider if you are thinking about some social work or community service around St Louis area. Excellent experience - I have been here a few times to support the operation back pack program.

This is the 2nd time to this facility. The staff here are extremely friendly. We deliver milk to US Foods and what they don't keep we deliver to here. What a wonderful place this is and what they are doing for the community. Need more of these places all around the states.

Doing important work, but still requiring masks outdoors in the parking lot? It's all about control and their sense of righteousness. They need to follow the science.

I really enjoyed volunteering there. The people were sincere and did the work with us. I really recommend doing a service project here.

I have volunteered at my churches pantry for 9 years now and have dealt with OFS over the years. Great people to deal with and always supportive and helpful.

I have to say 2nd week with OFS and I’m so appreciative, especially with Katie for being so sweet and Nausha and janae for dealing with my crazy schedule. This is an amazing company and they are doing some good things for people who need a little help. So a round of applause to them.

Regional food warehouse; local food pantries use as source. Not a retail location for individuals. Very efficient and polite volunteers and staff.

Great organization that is helpping kids all over STL. They are always accepting donations and love any and every volunteer who helps. Looking to make a difference in your community, this is a great place to start.

Their mission is wonderful and all the people involved are great! We had our granddaughter's 1st birthday and asked for food donations instead of gifts. We were able to donate a pallet of food.

Feeding the City. You should consider volunteering; You’d be helping with food accessibility.
