Great downtown store. I was hoping they had those Carrot Cheese Cake cakes by The Dangling Carrot though. I know they sell them somewhere downtown.

Used to be very nice but has gone downhill. Lots of prepared foods, though not much offered is truly fresh anymore. They also have a full meat and deli counter, plus a CVS pharmacy in the back. Parking in the garage is free with purchase (1 hr before 5/2 hrs after). Lines at lunch are long but move quickly.

Excellent urban downtown store with a wide selection of products and produce. This is an excellent food oasis in an urban dowtoen food desert. The prices are really quite reasonable for this location. I fully reccomend frequenting this establishment with hope it will keep it here operating for many years to come.

I was glad to find this Schnucks. It was a sharp smaller store than is in the suburbs of St. Louis. The staff were helpful, nice, and efficient. The selections were good. My only suggestion is that they offer hot coffee to accompany their breakfast hot bar offerings of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy, sausage and biscuits. I was sent four blocks away to find a cup of coffee.

I have tried multiple times to get gift cards here for over a $100. I normally have to go to the lead who overseas the self serve check out overlooking the area. I'm a sales director, I live downtown and it's very convenient. I pick out the gift cards, I proceed to the lead lady. She tells me to do it in self check out. I don't think she was aware that it does not work but however she was available. No one could process the gift cards. I ended up directly right back to her. After 10 minutes wasted she was able to get them process without wasting anymore time. To ensure effective customer service, grocery store agents should promptly assist customers, addressing their needs without unnecessary delays or redirecting them to different lines, such as in the case of a gift card issue. Fix the gift cards please

A very convenient grocery market for downtown dwellers and workers, especially when you "just need to grab a few things." Great customer service with friendly cashiers and the seafood counter service is always accommodating to my special requests! Would be nice to purchase the wine/alcohol at a register upstairs but this set up is understandable considering the store location. Even though the downtown Field's Foods is closer to where I live, I'll choose Culinaria every time.

I just feel like the store is halfway closed. There’s hardly any hot foods and a lot of the counters or displays are empty. This is not a real Schnucks.

This was a very nice local grocery store . Everything was well stocked . From Out of town and was looking to get local things that I could bring home with me . I got the Sugar fire barbecue sauce ,Imos pizza sauce and the Gooey Butter Cake which this state is known for . Def loved the Barbecue sauce

Don't bother having a concern or complaint. Astonishingly, management is rude and shouts at the customs. Their catch alk phrase is, " This conversation is done. You can leave!" Very sad. Having worked for Dierbergs, a classy customer oriented store, watching the embarrassment that is Schnucks is pathetic. It's no wonder Walmart + exists. Schnucks has degenerated into a sorry excuse for a store. It's not what you say to people, it's how you say it. Schnucks no longer has class.

The strangest Schnucks we’ve seen yet. Located in a very old building in a very busy downtown area. It looks nothing like any other Schnucks we’ve visited. Store aisles, especially at checkout meander around. Food court located on the second floor. Parking outside extremely limited and often hard to get.

Me my girlfriend and 2 kids was told we couldn’t eat food that we bought in from sushi ai around the corner even tho we brought drinks there!!! It’s a whole eating area upstairs we figured we would eat there, remind you it’s NO signs that says no outside food!! I called Amy with customer care she said she would return my call but nothing!! I will push 2 mar to see if I can find answers !! It didn’t feel right !!

My partner and I are visiting from out of town, and it's always weird navigating a new store. Out cashier, Arlander was super friendly, funny, and all around kind, making this an even better shopping experience!

Smaller than most but still a good assortment of goods.

A good store. Has what you would need in terms of grocery shopping. Of course there is a pharmacy in the building. A lot of desserts, pastries and doughnuts can be encountered upon entry. A nice touch is a balcony in the grocery that can be accessed by stair or elevator. One can eat food up there. Also several kinds of wine can be selected from the collection up there. This store is a vital part of downtown.

Seriously lacking in options compared to other Schnucks. If anything, this particular store should have MORE salads, soups, chicken, wings, and other premade options that are available in other Schnucks, considering this is area is centered around working business people. Do better.

Just tried to get some breakfast at 9:30a today. The chief told me “breakfast stops at 10” which i understand, why make more food for one person. But my problem is that I walked up to some empty pans so i assume they been empty for some time which is, to me, a sign of negligence. And second, when i asked “when do you stop bringing out new food for future reference” he seem annoyed lol. The audacity right? Here i am been calm and cordial about it being no breakfast and the gentleman show signings of being annoyed with me about my questioning. Just wanted to share my experience.

During a recent our recent stay in Sant Louis. I Googled grocery stores and discovered. "Schnucks" Downtown. it's a five minute walk from our hotel (Marriott Grand). The store's inventory consisted of major stock items Deli, canned goods, frozen foods, paper good products; Even a CVS Pharmacy location. It met our needs for the basic vacation items. ie. . Milk, bread, Deli meats, cheese, condiments and more. Especially the Wine & Spirits section. Prices are reasonable, especially when you are trying to blend a budget of food, meals and outings while vacationing; without feeling you're shorting your families need to enjoy themselves. 😉

What a great surprise in downtown St. Louis! Great peaches from Eckert's, coffee Kcups on sale, creme brulee, yogurt, red velvet cake, mini moos and really nice people! Good job Schnucks!

Love the culinaria. So many different options and helpful staff. Very convenient for downtown, as there's no fun in driving 20 minutes to the nearest inner city grocery store. They have an impressive collection of wine, beer, and spirits. Definitely visit.

Loved finding this grocery store literally just 2 blocks from where I was staying in downtown St. Louis. Granted it's not as large as your typical grocery store but it meets the needs and then some for those that live in the downtown area.

I was accused of shoplifting! Black female security officer accused me of shoplifting on the basis that I was black with a large purse. I was browsing an aisle when she approached me, told me she thinks I’m familiar and that whenever I enter the store, my purse gets bigger and bigger. Immediately, I open my purse to show her that I’m not a thief. She says “okay. I have a picture of the woman on my phone. You look like her. I’ll show you.” I check out and buy my things. I wait for her to show me the photo. The woman she mistook me for is a black woman with a brown leather purse - I have a green purse. That and the picture she showed me was from July of 2022. She apologizes to me and I leave. Do better. You are a fellow black woman and you KNOW better.

Staff was nice and helpful. Prices were surprisingly reasonable (dare I say good deals?) for being downtown. The CVS in the back corner is nice for picking up prescriptions. Will come back if I'm in the area and need something.

Great store in downtown St Louis. Bought food, snacks, beverages to have in my hotel room. Better to pay $2 for 3 large bottles of water than overpriced $7 for one bottle.

Overall, I really like the the downtown Schnucks. It may not have everything you’re looking for, but they have all the essentials, plus some pretty good produce. The prices are better than Field’s foods, but the location isn’t as convenient for people in downtown west.

Great hot and cold deli, desserts, cooked meats, veggies and fruits and overall grocery store if you're in town on business. Several homeless people in this immediate area but it was just fine if you're alone during the day. Great people and service. Has a CVS inside which is awesome. Definitely a local spot. I'm glad the lady at the hotel recommended it

Pretty good??? TONS of STL Zombies outside milling about, begging, etc. But prices and items were pretty good. Def got nothing on urban Chicago grocery pricing. But also!!!! WHAT IS UP W PPL??? Store staff were overwhelmed but pretty good/helpful, also, esp given the fact that we were closing out the store on Xmas eve w like 100 other ppl

Edna, the cashier was extremely rude during check out. With more than 10 items I don’t prefer to use the self checkout. I had 20 small items during checkout and she wouldn’t let me put all the items on the counter. Instead the cashier, Edna, made me put all my items on the FLOOR and one by one made me grab them off the floor for her to ring in. She was extremely aggressive and rude for no reason. When asked why she was being so rude to me and my family. She replied “I had a long day”.
