The only good thing I can say is that the ultrasound techs were nice and did not bruise me, as previous techs have. Other than that, the staff was unresponsive, never called with test results, did not communicate well, and literally admitted they forgot to call me with my ultrasound results. As much as I understand they are desensitized to the situation due to them being specialists, they made an already stressful and overwhelming chapter in mine and my husband's lives more stressful and overwhelming. I have nothing but frustration from this office and am finding a new care provider.

We started our journey with Dr. Omurtag in October 2020. First IUI was scheduled for November (failed) and the 2nd for early February (also failed). My husband had low motility and based on Dr. Omurtag’s recommendations and guidance the next step was IVF. However, he was confident we would respond well bc I have a high AMH. Had my baseline on July 16th and by July 30th he retrieved 20 eggs with 12 mature enough to be inseminated, 7 made it to Day 3 and 4 making it to Day 5. Embryo Transfer was August 4th and made it a full 40 weeks! Our little lady was born 40wks+1 day. We owe all this to Dr. Omurtag and his team. The attentiveness and just matter of fact approach they had with us was best for us dual military couple. We are so thankful and highly highly recommend WashU for fertility treatment.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Sarah Keller at this practice. I filed a grievance and they are making changes to ensure no one else has to go through what I did. Dr. Omurtag is amazing. This is NOT a good clinic for anyone with unusual or rare conditions, as they operate like an assembly line. If you have any differences from the norm, you will have to explain yourself over and over again, and the materials they give you will not apply to your situation

This review is long overdue, but my wife and I truly can't thank Dr. Omurtag and team enough. They are extremely knowledgeable, very compassionate, and listened. We felt the care was tailored for success and not just a one size fits all approach. Everyone went above and beyond, whether it was for extra information or just moral support. Using MyChart makes things more efficient and in our experience the office visits were very prompt. Infertility is a difficult journey, but would highly recommend the Wash U clinic.

I highly recommend the WashU REI clinic. After previously working with another clinic, we recognize and appreciate the professionalism and organization of the staff here. While Dr. Omurtag was our primary doctor, every single doctor, including the embryologists had a hand in advising and assisting on our complicated case. Unfortunately, we had to do multiple rounds of IVF to find success; the team never gave up and was there for me when the scan or blood work was not ideal. The OR and recovery room nurses and techs were exceptional, cheering me on with every procedure and phone call with results made. When speaking about our case, Dr. Ratts explained that IVF is more than just a cookbook recipe, every case must be carefully analyzed and catered to the specific patient’s needs. This is exactly how my case was handled. Many clinics can leave you feeling like another piece in the assembly line, and some of the process does lend itself to that feeling no matter what clinic you are at, however my case is a testament to the fact that this is not so at WashU. The doctors care and devote their practice to leaving no stone unturned on your path to find success. I often refer to infertility as the Wild West of medicine- it can leave you feeling so unsure and full of doubt when it comes to treatment plans, medications, diet, and success rates- WashU does a wonderful job in helping you feel less alone & cared for along your journey through the wilderness. I’m overwhelmingly thankful to say, we have one healthy toddler with another baby on the way.

I honestly cannot recommend this place for assistance with infertility. The billing department will do whatever it takes to avoid claims being handled by insurance providers. Our insurance covers diagnosis but not treatment which we understood. Before we even started treatments we were getting hammered with bills. These bills were from the testing that was performed to find out why my wife and I were having issues conceiving. I spoke with my insurance company several times explaining exactly what the tests were and each time they said it would be covered if the hospital would bill it correctly. One bill was eventually corrected but the second bill (more expensive one) kept coming back and we eventually had to pay it out of pocket. This nearly wiped out our savings so we could only afford one attempt at the ultrasounds and IUI. We were refused the IUI as things didn't work as planned and we just stopped as we would have to pay out of pocket for more ultrasounds.

Our experience with Wash U was amazing! Every staff member we encountered was amazing. Dr. Jimenez, Dr. Odem, Dr. Omurtag, & Dr. Martin were all super friendly & very helpful! My nurse Denise was probably the best part of our IVF process. She is super organized, always reached out to me & explained everything! Call backs & responses were quick- especially if you use messenger! We are now waiting for our first baby to arrive because of this amazing team! Honestly, if our cycle hasn’t been successful we would still recommend this clinic! Thank you so much Wash U!

Very unresponsive and lack of follow up. I really regret using them although I did have a successful pregnancy. I have a section in my son's baby book about our IVF journey, and I honestly want to burn his baby book and make a new one. Find a fertility center that actually cares even if that means traveling.

The staff at Wash U has been great for us. They were easily to communicate with and on time with appointments and procedures. We spoke with many different staff members during our time there, but each one answered questions quickly and thoroughly. Dr Omurtag as well as the other doctors (who did procedures) spoke to us with respect and listened to our thoughts and questions. We were able to discuss options and decide on the best decisions for us. I also appreciated the billing department's professionalism and patience as we figured out that challenging aspect of infertility.

Let me start out by saying the entire staff has made this the BEST medical experience I’ve ever had. From the very first phone call scheduling my new client appointment with Monishia to all the amazing women at the front desk who were always so supportive when they saw me, my venipuncture nurses who never missed a vein and would keep their fingers crossed for good numbers to my informative and cautiously excited ultrasound techs who would explain what we were seeing and eventually showed us our future babies heartbeat for the first time. My nurse Kimberly who was always there to answer any of my silly questions or concerns and Katherine who performed my IUI. You ladies are all amazing! Dr. Omurtag, the brains behind all of this scary fertility treatment. I love this facility so much. I never waited more than five minutes in the waiting room. They always accommodated with my work schedule. They are all simply amazing people who truly support and want the best for you.

After trying for a few in our local area, we decided to look for a second opinion. We spent several weeks contemplating and doing research on facilities and doctors. We came across Dr. Omurtag mainly through FertilityIQ. He had an excellent rating and even read several articles about him. We setup an introductory meeting and we first noticed how attentive he was to our specific situation. He treated us as a unique case whereas our last experience we felt like we were part of the herd and the common practice didn't work for us. Dr. Omurtag and team were very caring and understanding throughout the entire process. We went through 3 IVF cycles and several different tests along the way. Each time we were not successful, it was always evaluated and conveyed to us what our options were. The Dr. frequently asked us if we had questions and went in depth as to what research has said and what his opinion the matter was. The whole experience was not perfect, but when we had any issues, the team was able to address and fix! We eventually had the privilege of a successful pregnancy and were overwhelmed with the support and cheer we received. If you are a couple/individual struggling with fertility, I would highly recommend Wash U Fertility without hesitation!

I have never experienced such an awesome team! They were replying within an hour of answering any questions I had posted on mychart account. They called me back within the hour if I had concerns. Weekend team with the emergency line also called back within the hour to follow up. Very important when you are going through a very precise schedule. Everyone is so happy and looks like they love their job. Clean and safe environment. Would recommend them to anybody!

My daughter and her husband started their process in October, 2022. Her transfer was in February, 2023. They are expecting their son in November, 2023. Dr Omurtag and his staff were excellent. I went to a lot of the appointments and always felt so welcomed and included. I would definitely recommend.

We went to Dr. Omurtag and he's been great through this journey. He's very knowledgeable but most importantly he listens and will support you as his patient. His nurses Denice and Kathy and his assistant Jessie have all been wonderful to work with. Prompt communication and always so nice and willing to help. We are forever grateful to such an amazing team!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience as a whole. From the billing department, schedulers, the nurses, ultrasound staff, doctors- everyone worked as a team, showed compassion, and had excellent communication.

Wonderful experience all around! All of our questions were followed by extremely thorough answers. We had a successful fresh transfer through IVF with Dr. Omurtag and his team. Words cannot explain how thankful we are for such an amazing team and our little blessing!

After years of trying to get pregnant. I had to do IVF. Kenan Omurtag and his office made that possible. Always answered my questions and helped every step of the way. I had my daughter a month ago. Long and beautiful journey.

My wife and I had a great experience with all the doctors and nurses at WashU Fertility. After a couple failed attempts, we decided to wait to get into WashU and work with their team. I’m happy to say we have had much success and a lot has to do with their excellent staff and medicine.

I highly recommend WashU Fertility to anyone who is struggling to conceive. I worked with Dr. Omurtag and his team (recommended by my OBGYN) and they were always very on time with office visits, quick to reply to mychart messages, and quick to do any insurance preauthorizations to make sure things go smoothly when they need to. My husband and I first went to see Dr. Omurtag December 2021, and we just welcomed our baby boy in May 2023. We are so thankful!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience! I just had my transfer today, so success rate is unknown but the experience has really been amazing. Everyone that I have worked with there was commhnicative and so helpful. My nurse, Denice, was prompt and so helpful especially when I was spinning and way too in my head. She made me feel safe and strong. Dr. Jimenez was my doctor and wonderful, Dr. Omurtag did my egg retrieval, nurse Jackie was my nurse in transfer day and Dr Anderson did my transfer and honestly have only the most positive feelings and things to say about them all! Highly recommend!

I wish I could give 10 stars. I do not have enough positive comments to share about my experience with this clinic. From the response time to walking my husband and I through the process step by step, I am overjoyed to have been able add this wonderful group of people to my journey to make a child. Dr Omurtag and Kate, our nurse are amazing and wonderful humans that I will forever be grateful for. Their knowledge and bedside cannot be beat. I have worked with other fertility clinics prior to this one and it made me appreciate all the small details and over the top ways they educate and accommodate their patients. I never felt rushed or felt like I was asking dumb questions. Amazing to say the least.

I highly recommend Dr. Omurtag and the Wash U fertility clinic. We met with Dr. Omurtag in the late fall of 2021 and just welcomed a baby boy this winter thanks to his team. The entire clinic was professional, prompt, and supportive throughout our IVF process. While IVF is no walk in the park having such supportive and friendly providers made the process much easier.

Dr Omurtag and his staff gave my husband and I the greatest gift - our son. After 8 years of unexplained infertility , Dr omurtag was instrumental in diagnosing me with endometriosis and putting together a plan to help us get pregnant . After doing ivf at another local clinic that produced no results , Dr omurtag got us pregnant after our first egg retrieval and transfer . He made several adjustments to my medications and protocol that I feel were key to our success . The entire staff worked as a well oiled , organized machine. Kathy is knowledgeable and responds quickly . Dr Jimenez did my egg retrieval and Dr Keller our transfer … I never felt like a staff member did not know who I was or what was going on with my treatment . Dr omurtag is not only intelligent but also young and hungry. I would highly recommend wash u’s reproductive department for anyone experiencing infertility .

My husband and I have sought the help of the WashU fertility team twice now. Our first starting back in 2018 and again just last year, 2021. Both have achieved success with our baby #2 on 12/10/22!!

Highly recommend washU fertility! I can’t say enough great things about Dr Omurtag, nurses, and every staff member at this facility. Ivf can be very confusing and emotionally hard but the nurses are very attentive and respond quickly with any questions/worries you might have! Both egg retrieval and transfer went smoothly. The nurses were very sweet and made me feel comfortable. We were successful on the first try!! I can’t thank them enough for everything! All around great place!

Dr. Omurtag and the staff at Wash U Fertility are the most caring, thorough and attentive medical professionals. They made this process as comfortable and stress free as possible! They are with you every step of the way and the attention you receive I have never experienced before. I would recommend them to anyone looking to embark on the fertility journey.

While just starting the fertility journey I was diagnosed with breast cancer. During a time of unknowns another huge obstacle was added to the plate. Dr. Omurtag and his team were very compassionate, encouraging, and informative. As the fertility journey alone can have extreme highs and lows the nursing team and staff were very supportive. I am very thankful to say two years later I hope to be delivering a healthy baby soon. Thankful to have chosen Washington University Fertility and Reproductive Medicine Center.
