This
is,
I
think,
a
refurbished
"old"
theatre
like
the
Senator
in
Baltimore,
or
the
Uptown
in
NW
DC.
It's
very
nice,
and
there
are
lots
of
posters,
photos
and
other
memorabilia.
The
theatre
shows
lots
of
movies
you
can't
easily
see
in
other
theatres.
For
example,
I
recently
saw
E.T.
on
its
40th
anniversary,
and
saw
Cat
Video
Fest
not
too
long
ago.
The
theatre
itself
is
Art
Deco
and
clean.
They
serve
beer,
wine,
cider
and
snacks.
The
service,
such
as
it
is,
is
quite
good.
The
theatre
doesn't
sell
a
lot
of
tickets,
I
suspect,
but
is
subsidized
by
AFI.
There's
an
AMC
Theatre
about
a
block
away
for
blockbusters.
So
it's
very
nice
to
have
a
choice.
