I used the MD location as a wedding venue. It’s very reasonably priced. It’s worth upgrading to allow your guests to explore the farm and farm animals. Ken and Lauren were very friendly and helpful. I appreciate their attention to detail. I was grateful they allowed us to bring our own caterer. They also allowed us to decorate the night before. Ken is extremely flexible. You can rent farm flowers from Lauren for a low price which would make beautiful centerpieces. There are large wine barrels which make for stylish decorations. The barn is beautifully decorated so we needed minimal decorations. We used the bridal suite to get ready and were given the opportunity to take our time getting ready. The venue is spacious and open; it doesn’t have that “farm smell”. My guests were truly thrilled about the opportunity to explore the farm and pet the farm animals. Photo credit: “Annan Productions”

We’ve been to countless farms and they either have no water or the foot pump things and port-a-potties, which are always super gross. BUT…. This farm has running water and actual bathrooms! It’s amazing! There are quite a variety of animals to pet and you can go in some of the enclosures with them as well which is pretty cool for the kids. The food hut is basic but it’ll get you by in a pinch and the staff are pretty friendly. One thing to note is you can walk further to the back in the field to get your free pumpkins instead of the ones sitting out by the bottom of parking lot.

Absolutely can't say enough about this place, we loved every minute here! ❤️ This farm has everything from pig races to hay rides. My favorite of course was the goats 🐐. I also found a hidden gem here, my petite concrete bench! Yes! They have outdoor garden varieties for your home too. You must come check this place out, something for everyone here. An added bonus real bathrooms no dons John's here, lol.

Great venue! We had our wedding there Nov 5, 2022. Ken, Laurie and their team were amazing. They made things go smoothly! They don’t have a set catering list which was nice. We were able to choose whomever we wanted. We also were able to provide our own alcohol, as long as you have a licensed bartender! Anytime I had a question they were quick to get back to me. We only used the reception part of the venue but still rented the bridal suite. It was great because it gave us a place to settle down before the reception started. The venue had a bar stand which was very convenient. Ken even let us rent a container where we were able to put ice / drinks in. (Pic added) We rented the fire pits as well. They were smaller than I thought, but it was nice for our friends that wanted to hang out over there. The inside of the venue is so beautiful we didn’t even need to decorate much! The venue fits up to 200 guests!

Awesome large farm. Had a kid party there. Very family friendly farm. Well organized and lots of farm animals to see and feed. The staff were amazing. There are free hay rides and a pumpkin patch too. The birthday party was under a tent. Very clean farm and a lot of birthday parties going on under several tents. The restrooms were very nice and clean. A lot of hand washing stations call around the farm as well. This place is a gem of Frederick located right on Rt. 80 near Prices Distillery Rd. next to Urbana. The address states the farm is located in Ijamesville. GPS takes you right to the farm. Parking is in a grass field right off of Rt. 80. Getting around in a wheelchair may be a little difficult but I'm sure if you call the farm they could accommodate you. Their website has a lot of helpful information on a lot of questions one may have.

We had a great time! There are so many things to do and see! From large tractors to play on, to all the farm animals you can imagine, this place has a lot to offer! Plenty of room to sit and grab a bite! The hot dogs were so good! Such a great place to bring the whole family!

This farm is the best! The pig races, the corn and sand silos are a hit with the kids. The tractor ride was great and the covered picnic areas were so nice and free! We had our small party with no issues.

We absolutely love this farm. Although we’ve visited here plenty of times previously this was our first year at the jack-o-lantern trail. It was so much fun! I was thoroughly impressed! It’s worth every penny, do not hesitate visiting this farm!

It's a lovely place to celebrate your little events. You can rent a canopy and have your kids play around the whole time. The farm includes goodie bags as favors for your events! You could seat about 30 people per canopy. The average time to spend here would be about 4 hours. There are many animals and such engaging encounters. There's a piggie race, hay ride and you can feed the animals. There are a few playground slides and cars to play with at one corner near the tents. The parking is decent and tickets are very affordable. Wagons are available for renting. The restrooms need some maintenance; better to carry pee funnels. Overall the farm is very entertaining and that for all age groups. The best time to visit is fall (Sept and Oct) given the weather is very good for outdoors.

I love that Green Meadows allows the kids to get up close and personal the animals. Having been raised on a farm, I love that my kids can see various types of poultry wandering the yard, and see the true scale of a Brahma - experiences that are hard to come by in the DC Metro area. Best part: Once you pay admission, the only thing you pay for is gifts and snacks. My family and I bring a picnic lunch + snacks. You won't be disappointed!

We came here for the Trail of Lanterns and we liked it a lot. Our kid liked the barn animals. There were baby pigs, a day old chick, a lama, a bunny, big bull, turtles and other animals.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and super kid friendly. Take advantage of their Friday evening Barnyard Band and Booze events! Super fun, byob and food (or patronize one of the brewery/winery/food truck options). Plenty of shade/tents/picnic tables and plenty of space to accommodate a lot of people and not feel crowded. Highly recommend.

We just had our wedding here and it was a blast. Ken and Lauren were amazing hosts, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The venue is beautiful and a fun time for everyone. The petting Zoo during the cocktail hour was loved by all of our guests and we cannot wait to go back to visit! Thank you!

Petting farm on Mother's day. BYGO admission for mom. Lots of babies -ducks, turkeys, min horse, pigs, emu, goats, bunny babies in nest, chickens. Hand fed goats, petted baby goats. Long line for hay ride. Missed pig races and hay ride. Fun day with 1 yo. She enjoyed the ride on trikes and cars at playground.

It’s an animal farm, I would call it quaint. It wasn’t super busy on a Sunday. Play area. Lots of larger animals to pet. Piglets. Hay ride through the woods. It’s not overly done which I enjoyed. Nice bathrooms.

My granddaughter had her 3rd birthday party. They have a really long hay ride. Kids can play in the corn, pet animals, and ride bikes at the park area. They had wash stations outside and also bathrooms were available. Kids had a great time. Bring extra clothing for the younger kids. They love to get dirty!

Incredible experience! Several of the animals roam freely, and they have animals here outside of your traditional farm. Great for all ages.

Visited for the first time today for a birthday party. Had a great time. Everything flowed smoothly, bathrooms were very nice and clean. You can tell a lot of thought and planning went into how everything is placed. The piggy races were a highlight. Would definitely recommend!

Great petting zoo. Very clean (for a farm!), friendly attentive staff, fun events. All of the animals are very well taken care of and the staff is very knowledgeable. They have a beautiful event center that I can imagine would make for a gorgeous wedding venue. They have bands once a month in the on season with food trucks and beer/wine/spirits. Also BYOB. Pack a picnic, take the whole family. It's one of the best in the area.

This is absolutely the best place to take your family! Fun for all ages - we have a 16 and 13 year old, and an 18 month old, and everyone always has a blast! Pet cows, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, and a bison(!), and interact with a ton of more animals of all shapes and sizes like rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, kangaroos - honestly there's too many to name! Thank you to the Keyes family and their wonderful staff for making such a fantastic, unique, and well-organized experience. In a time when kids need to be outside more than ever, this is our family's favorite spot! See y'all soon!

Great place for children and animal lovers of all ages. There is a wide variety of animals, from pigs and goats to a bison and wallaby! Fall activities include a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch and kid-friendly games. A bit pricey for a petting farm, but the facility is well-maintained, the animals appear well cared for and staff seem devoted and eager to share information with visitors. Highly recommend this place.
