I was quite pleased with the Hygienist and the Dentist on this visit. However, after two years as a patient at this practice, the blatant disregard the front desk staff shows for the patient’s time is not improving. For example, on one of my visits, I was verbally checked in and then promptly forgotten about. When I checked back 30-40 minutes later, it was revealed that my dentist was never alerted to my arrival and I was actually removed from the schedule as if I had never shown. Today, all of the patients arriving early for their 8:00 appointments were greeted by…..no one. In fact, the staff didn’t come out to begin checking us in until almost 8:10. I can only imagine how far behind appointments get by the afternoon. This office may want to reassess who receives automatic Google Review requests😉

I was very anxious about my appointment for a broken tooth. I hadn't been to dentist in quite a while and felt I was being shamed for it (although the dental assistant was very considerate of my anxiety). Whether a patient doesn't keep up with consistent dental care because of finances or fear (or whatever reason), it doesn't help to make them feel ashamed of it. I would feel much better about coming back for continuing care if I felt like a valued patient instead of a problem.

Renee was my hygienist and did a beautiful job. Dr Sowal is the dentist who cured my dental phobia back in 2011, and who continues to be a joy to see and catch up with!, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Susquehanna Dental. The staff is always very kind and makes their patients feel comfortable. 5 stars!!!

Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The doctors will advise on any corrective procedures or maintenance before an emergency happens. I’ve been their patient for many years and they have my teeth in great shape. It makes those routine checkups easy. Definitely recommend this dental group.

Had a great visit, all the people I interacted with were very friendly and professional. However I did not appreciate being blindsided by finding out at my appointment that my dentist had left the practice. We never received any letter or other notification- to me that is terrible business practice!

I've always liked the care I've gotten at Susquehanna Dental. Only problem I have is I don't like being asked how often I brush my teeth. I'm an adult and I know how often I should brush my teeth. But I have ADHD and always have a hundred and one things on my mind and 10 projects in process so it's easy to forget.

It was very smoothly run. My dentist, Dr. Teramae recently moved his practice here and I have been seamlessly added to the patient roster. Looking forward to my next appointment in March of 2024.

I forgot I had an appointment, but thanks to the helpful office staff I received a text and a call prior to my appointment to remind me. My insurance provider also changed, and they were able to get my information updated quickly and were able to verify whether they were still in network or not. The hygienist's have been friendly, and do a great job of communicating what they need from me as they’re cleaning my teeth. The Dentist’s have been friendly and give great advice on post appointment upkeep. I highly recommend Susquehanna Dental East.

Dr. Sowal is very kind and always has had time to fit me in when something comes up (like a root canal or broken tooth!). We moved 45 minutes away from Linglestown 8 years ago and I still make the drive out to this practice because they have treated me so well. Highly recommend. Also, all dental hygienists have been friendly and caring as well!

This place will send your bills faster to collections faster than the sports cars they park out front. There are three things I do not have for this place or type of practice - time, money or empathy. Dr. Purvis leaving was extremely sketchy. The new doctor accused me of lying and I left bawling. A 3D scan of a tooth for a crown should NOT result in 4 visits back to correct. Almost a year later I still can’t eat on the left side of my mouth. I refuse to work with them. Spend your money elsewhere.
