It's only benefit is it does serve it's purpose as a bus stand, but to be honest considering the economic activities taking place in Masasi, there is a need to construct a well designed bus stand with modern day infrastructure.

The parking area is small, not many buses and other means of transportation can fit in. The booking offices are also small and therefore during rainy season and hot sunny days the travellers face difficulties during waiting time for their buses to departure. Around the area, there are small restaurants where you can eat and shops that sell different goods.

A typical kind of tiwnship bus stand commonly found in Rural Tanzania.

Local bus stop which serves buses from different districts connecting Lindi and Mtwara districts. It also accommodates cars from other Regions passing from Dar es salaam, Ruvuma, Mbeya and Iringa.

It is very busy and active bus stand at the southern zone given the fact masasi town is growing fast attracting more people to invest however it needs more improvement to match the demand
