We stayed in San Juan del sur but stoped here to browse and shop. In the market there was live music , local food, great values and friendly faces. We are from America (Las Vegas) and used to the typical souvenir shop, this is definitely not it ! This craft market captures the culture and essence of the beautiful unique Nicaraguan people. Try to steer away from San Juan Del Sur , for shopping (if possible ). Most shop owners from San Juan Del Sur get all of their merchandise from here for dirt cheap and resell it to unsuspecting tourist at much higher prices. While in Nicaragua this is by far the best value for all your local souvenirs or beach wear.
