One of the nice buildings left in Mashhad. Beautifully restored, a pleasant garden in the courtyard. A handycraft store in the garden sells artwork from artists that have small workshops in the main building. It's more than just tourist souvenirs, they are really good artists.

Did you know that Malik's house was built in the first Pahlavi period and all its windows are double-glazed?

There is a beautiful rehabilitated house in the Bazar with nice architecture. It is located in Koveitiha alley in Bazar and you have to pay for entrance. Some part of this house is open to visit and some others are under rehabilitation. All in all I suppose it is worth to visit.

Malek House, which is known as the leader of historical houses in Mashhad, was the house of Haj Hossein Malek, a wealthy philanthropist of Mashhad, in the past. Haj Hossein Malik can be considered one of the richest people in Iran in the last hundred years, whose wealth was infinite. Born in a rich family, he was a tenant of real estate in Astan Quds Razavi for many years, and because he had good economic thinking, he was able to acquire a large fortune in this way.

One of the 4 or 5 old houses in Mashhad, it's not that old belongs to Ghajarieh dynasty and there is a beautiful garden at the other side of this house

😠 Inhumane way to keep animals. Wild animals should be where they belong - in the wild. Unless you want to teach kids about keeping animals caged and miserable for human entertainment. Would recommend taking them to an amusement park instead
