This place was a hidden gem. Quiet, cheap to enter and packed with cool history. I enjoyed the murals the most.

It is near the shrine and right next to Bab al-Jawad. It has beautiful paintings on the ceiling that are interesting and unique. Part of it is to post old photos of Mashhad. The entrance fee is 5000 tomans, the officials are friendly, but no one gives an explanation.

The bathroom has been renovated in several stages, some of the renovations and paintings and the swimming pool are ugly. Unfortunately, the objects that are here are less related to the museum of ethnography

The working hours are very short, only from 8 to 12 in the morning. In fact, this was a public bathroom, which has been turned into a museum. The ceiling of the bathroom is made of 8 or 9 layers of beautiful paintings that are stacked on top of each other. It means that every year they have painted a beautiful painting on top of the previous painting because of the presence of humidity and steam! The whole museum should be integrated into the Astan museum, and the bathroom is actually interesting. look...

😠 Inhumane way to keep animals. Wild animals should be where they belong - in the wild. Unless you want to teach kids about keeping animals caged and miserable for human entertainment. Would recommend taking them to an amusement park instead
