Good nice temple. Joy maa kachakanti. It's situated next to the main road and nice location. It's one of the main tourist destination in Silchar. People from mail town and throughout Assam come here to take blessings. Less crowd and nice ambience. Only thing is here the concept of sacrifice still happening, which is the only demerit, rest all good. Once again I recommend the place, but if possible I suggest management to remove the sacrifice rituals. Thanks for reading my review.

Joy maa kachakanti πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ lovely place to spend your day religiously. The fish pond is very nice, you can feed the fishes and the turtles. If you stay till late afternoon, you can have prasad. Also there are many small restaurants nearby.

Though I have been to this place in childhood with my parents, but who remembers with stark detail of what they did and how were the places they have been to in adolscence. This time I get to visit this place purely out of my own desire only or you can say that the temple drew me towards it. I got there with one of my friends, it was a blast of positive breeze that struck me soon as I walked into the premises of the temple. The pond nearby the temple had two turtles among other fishes. There were many trees and the temple itself was majestic.

For events, the priests and temple authority keeps pestering for additional money, in spite of paying the requisite fees. Customs and rituals are vaguely followed with non conformance to standard practices...

Beautiful and traditional temple. Very sacred and popular. Quite clean and well kept. It is worth a visit if you live in Silchar. Their is a Shiva temple in side the compound, they also holds Durga Puja.
