We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The gardens are so well maintained and their pool is so clean. They are neighbours to sprawling green lands and beautiful hills. It was very relaxing to be there. The food is good and so is their service. I didn't expect such a nice hotel to be outside the park.

its a very beautiful place for stay. as the place is just around Masindi like 2 km away from main town. i like the view and weather of morning here we enjoyed the coffee and breakfast in the garden. if you are going to Murchison falls and want to stay at nights its a good place.

The place is nice, nice rooms but not sure about the local foods though a lot to order from Western meals and local meals so plenty to chose from. It is very very clean plan with beautiful nature

It is calm resort. Nice staff. Got a single and double rooms. Mosquito net. There is TV but we didn't try it. Swimming pool is there but it is not deep but still well maintained. Food is okay. Not so many varieties. Bar is well equipped. Shower has hot water but the switch is located in another room occupied by others so bathing with cold water wasn't possible. If you go to the restorant for the breakfast service, bring your own water from your room or so as the bar opens late.

Had an overland stopover for lunch on my way to Murchison falls national Park. The place looks pretty nice with a poolside. Lunch was delicious! 3 stars for the hospitality and good food.

Generally a good place to hideout from your boss and put your feet up and relax. Friends are a must.

The hotel location near the road, is good and quiete. My room was fairly OK, though no fan, it was too hot at night. Management kindly put fans in all rooms. The bed and bedding were OK and the restaurant staff were handy and I greatly appreciate that they woke up very early to prepare breakfast 👍The receptionist should emulate them. The back pack is a lovely idea. Thanks for hosting us at Kabalega Resort.

Good place to rest, good bedrooms and incredible outdoor areas. The staff is kind and helpful. It is located near the National Park.

It's good place. But sometimes food for ordering delays. And sometimes you may fail to use the wash rooms cuz toilet paper gets used. And check on your food storage. Cuz I got food poisoning and all my team who tasted on my meal we had to be taken to hospital for medication.

Place is greta but we were not well received. No one was at the reception to attend to us and made us wait for over 30mins. Very sad. Rooms quite small so we decided to sleep in Hoima at golden castle hotel instead

Kabalega Resort is one of a kind. One can say an all round place to have fun, meals and rest. Nice pool, good food, the rooms are very okay place the place is generally clean all-over. Wash rooms are always clean too. Ooohhh I love the Fish in a special way😍 There's something unique and special about the coffee and the coffee beans in particular, so uuuummmm. Can't have enough.

The Management team is absolutely 5 star for the time I have been there, Patricia is one of the best when it comes too Welcoming and customer suysfuctions and I would always recommend anyone to visit this place for food, Room service and other services not forgetting the pool services

This place is nice to have a relaxing afternoon at the pool, with a cocktail. The bartender could only make 4 cocktails of the menu, but its better then nothing I guess. The pool looks clean. We had dinner at this place: the pizza isn't great, even though they use a good oven for it. They just don't know how to make good pizza's. The chilli and mushroom, is really spicy, but good. The service is quite quick. The room is nice. We had a twin room, the matrasses are good, as is the mosquito net. The shower is not that great, the water trickles down. If you need to wash your hair, don't do it in this hotel ;) The breakfast consist of: hard boiled eggs, fruit, chapati, noodles, cornflakes and bread. The place has a big parking lot.

Serene place tucked away on the outskirts of Masindi town. Cool climate with a quiet tropical back drop of the equatorial swamps. Friendly service that brings back memories of the high school colonial history classes. Great cottages and ample parking space. A nice old piano sits in one corner of the corridor exiting the reception.....while a board of "mweso" sits in the reception area calling to be played. It is a worthwhile visit in this land of Oil and Honey
