The care and attention I received at the clinic was, by far, the most focused care I have ever received in a medical environment. The grad students and audiologists were all amazing and thorough in their evaluation of my hearing loss and especially keen on helping me address the ringing in my ears. I have already recommended the clinic to three friends and have told my success story to many, many people. Thank you for improving my life and please keep up the good work!

The grad students did an excellent job of working with our son and the report we got back we thorough a detailed explaining the diagnosis and recommended interventions. Everyone we worked with was friendly and helpful from the time we set up the appointment to the time they called us to discuss their finding

The staff at the clinic are always very friendly, accommodating, and super helpful. The hearing exam was more thorough than I expected and the results made the selection of the new hearing aids be a perfect fit. The person giving me the exam and fitting my hearing aids asked great questions, made sure I understood what the choices were, and took all the time needed to make sure I knew how to care for and use my hearing aids. I live in Normal, Illinois, so the location was very convenient. They gave me a paring pass that was very helpful. I highly recommend the clinic for anyone who has, or who others say, needs some help with their hearing!!

My experiences with the ISU Speech and Hearing Clinic have been wonderful. I bring my mother to Bloomington Normal for their hearing services from over an hour away because of the great care given to her by the graduate students and the supervising Audiologists. Everyone we have worked with has been extremely friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. My mother and I enjoy giving students an opportunity to learn, and in turn, we feel she is benefiting from the most current research, technology, and comprehensive testing. The hearing aids she purchased have worked well at the nursing home and we are happy that they so similar to what she was previously wearing due to her Alzheimer’s.

I can’t say enough nice things about the Speech and Hearing Clinic! My son has been attending speech services for the last seven months. The services have made a world of difference for him. He’s discovered the power of language and is exploring what a powerful tool it is for human interaction. Every single person in the clinic is amazing! The office support staff are amazingly kind, clinicians are so caring and work hard to engage and teach, and the clinical educators are full of ideas and resources that we have found invaluable! The passion of everyone shows in the care provided.

The student and faculty clinicians who work in Gender Affirming Communication Services are fantastic! There was courtesy and affirmation of my individual experience of self and of self-expression at every step, and I had a wonderful sense of agency and collaboration as we discussed struggle points and progress through my sessions. I was able to give feedback and ask questions often. They are good at what they do, and they took a great amount of care in equipping me with the tools required for my personal goals. Highly recommended!

The audiology Dr & assistant were Excellent!!! Very well knowledgeable in the field. Answered all my questions and even followed up with phone calls to make sure thing we're still working well for me. Love Dr Woods she keeps in touch and always calls back to help with trouble shooting. Everyone should go there! 👂👍👂
