I honestly wish I had the option of leaving negative stars. I have had bi polar since I was 14 and I am 42 years old. I had great luck when I was a teenager with psychiatric help, but as soon as I became an adult it went down hill. I stopped going as every doctor I found did not help. I thought I found a good one with this location. The psychologist is AMAZING. It is the office staff that blew it for me. First they over charge me, I was in the office for 26 minutes, and they sent me a bill for 60 minutes. Went round and round with the billing agent, where she interrupted us and raised her voice, completely unprofessional. Hard to understand her as well, as she is does not know how to explain things. The manager called us back finally and apologized. I get that mistakes happen. My schedule is that I am supposed to see my doctor every other week. So I had my appointment today at 8am. I get a call at 730 to tell me he called in so I have to reschedule, then I find out that the dates that the scheduler set up for me that was to be 8/1 8/15 8/29 and that was written on a card and handed to me was wrong, it was for 9/1 9/15 9/29. So mistake # 2. Granted, I "only" have bi polar, but these people treat patients that have addiction problems, ADD, Schizophrenia, Trauma, Stress, and then when I get upset then they proceed to tell me "This is not going anywhere and hang up the phone." This is MENTAL HEALTH "PROFESSIONALS." With all the mistakes I just cant see the professionalism. And then the audacity to hang up after knowing they made ANOTHER mistake. All I did after she hung up was cry. This was at 730 this morning and it is now almost 10. For anyone going to these people. Good luck!

I hate giving this place one star. I brought my son here for therpy almost 3 months ago. They canceled on him 4 times. One therapist left the group for family reasons, but they didn't try to find him another therapist to see. I had to insist on it. Well, Michael, this other doctor sees him one time. On his second visit with him, my son canceled . I tried calling the place 4 times with no answer, so I decided to go up there. Since I was on his paperwork to talk to the doctor, I decided to use the visit to discuss some things. I show up fifteen minutes like they want you to. My appointment was at noon. By 12:15, I'm asking if they remembered me? They told me that the man in front of me was late for his appointment , then I looked up and saw that they charged 25.00 extra for late fees. What about the people who actually showed up on time for their appointments , we have to suffer while they make an extra 25.00. And I thought how unprofessional!!! I will not leave the care of my son to quacks!!! I removed him that day from their care.

I had great service there, but I had to cancel an appointment (with two weeks notice) due to losing my position at an employer during a radical restructuring of the company. They've been trying to collect a no-call no-show fee anyway. The dispassion that mental healthcare services can show, as a business, is one of the primary reasons I have avoided going for such a long time. I fear the event I have to cancel an appointment at a future provider.

WOW, seriously just don't even bother here. Where to begin? They send your RX to the wrong place constantly , as far as dosage yeah that's getting messed up too. The " med line"? Yeah good luck, 48 hours means never, hope you have time to come speak with them in person,or else you're screwed. Absolute disaster at every level. Before I get some half hearted apology, let me say this..don't be be sorry, be better! Your mistakes matter!Edit 11/ 25 ,see what i mean about excuses and half hearted apologies? Your excuse doesn't really explain or validate why it took 2 weeks to not reply about " what papers do I need to bring " they canceled my appointment after this review by the way which is good because it saved the 60 dollar cancelation fee, what a joke good bye forever PPS

Love my psychiatrist. However, I’m not sure why the phone even rings since no one answers. Frustrating that a place that holds the key to getting my medication has such a barrier to just getting to talk to anyone. Especially during a medication shortage. I wish I could just speak with my psychiatrist directly or even email her without having to go through an office staff and multiple phone lines.

Doctor Jennifer Baker changed my life after being on four different medication’s for 25 years, I am off of three of them. Reduced the fourth drastically. I believed in her. She truly cared about the patient as opposed to “selling” and encouraging medication and looking for the easy route. I see so clear and I’m so grateful for what she has done for me. Jorge Gurgel.

This place is awful. My first appointment was with the owner….and a couple of students. I was not asked if it was okay for them to be there and I felt uneasy. The psychiatrist was condescending and after telling him my concerns (10 minutes) he told me “you’re cynical! Cynical is your middle name” and chuckled. Maybe don’t insult new patients with mental health disorders? He also joked about upsetting my spouse because of my irritability. I almost didn’t go back but he placed me with a nurse practitioner instead so I proceeded. I continued with both medication mgmt and therapy. Neither was spectacular but neither was bad. I did have an issue when my therapist scoffed at my using sleeping aids and wanted me to try sleep therapy while the practitioner scoffed at the therapist’s idea of sleep hygiene and therapy. They clearly were not in communication so I pretended the issue was resolved to avoid the added stress of being told 2 different things by different people. After a while, I didn’t really feel like I was progressing and due to financial constraints, I opted to discontinue services. I did not reschedule medication mgmt and called to cancel the therapy series. I called the day of an appointment so I fully expected an exorbitant cancellation fee, which I paid. What I did not expect was that the rep failed to cancel the entire series and only canceled the one and I received a bill, not only for the valid cancellation fee, but 2 additional no show fees for appointments that were supposed to have been cancelled. Mistakes happen. So I tried calling billing a few times before I finally got in touch with someone within a couple of weeks (which is an issue in and of itself) only to be told “well the notes say….” And she started explaining the policy, ignoring the actual issue. I had to keep pushing back until she said she’d escalate. After a few days, I had heard nothing so I called again only to be told that the manager was listening to the call to confirm my cancellation request and she’d call back “today or tomorrow .” That was a month ago. I have received a new bill with the same fees. Clearly, nobody did anything. I called back and requested a manager only to get a voicemail because she was supposedly in a meeting. I’m still waiting for resolution. I do not recommend this place unless you want more stress to deal with! Also, the building smells like cigarettes, old socks and febreeze - something to be aware of if you do choose to try this place and are sensitive to smells like I am.

It’s a pretty good place for psychiatry. As someone who has been going to therapy for years, it’s good for first time goers, but if you’re looking for something beyond talk therapy, I would look somewhere else. Overall, nice atmosphere and people.

PPPS is awesome! Everyone there is so helpful and friendly. Rachel Hunter is the best of the best! She really cares about her patients and takes the time to figure out what is really going on. I highly recommend her to everyone!
