What a wonderful experience we had on Saturday for a baby shower. We wanted to do an afternoon tea and got more than we could have expected. The venue is lovely with lots of free parking. The food was excellent and was served to us by the knowledgeable museum volunteers. There was plenty of room for our guests and plenty of time to browse through the house. Thank you to all

Went here for the first time ever. I've passed by it 100xs of times.. always telling myself I was going to check it out one day! Well today was that day! I did my research.. made sure they were open! I get there and the lady tells me she isn't giving tours today, that they don't give them everyday. I commented and said I read you were open until 2PM. She insisted we come back another day. We started talking some more and she decided to give us a walk around the first floor. Gave a little brief description about each room. Enjoyed finding out that one of their New furniture pieces, as I'm an interior designer, is a piece that Abraham Lincoln once sat on. Loved the 5 minute tour of what we could see. Hopefully, one day, another day, I can get the full tour!

My wedding experience was made less stressful and more beautiful by our event planner Kim. She responded to all my queries, helped me in every step of planning. She was very accommodating for the vision I shared to plan an Indian wedding which was never part of until then! I cannot stop saying all good things about her and the team! Venue by itself is beautiful to make one’s wedding more special.

The outside of this house is breathtaking, and the interior is really amazing. I'm really hoping to have this as my wedding venue! I scheduled a tour to see if this would be a good venue for my wedding, and Kim was super friendly and amazing to work with, super accommodating and has really good prices on renting things out too. It is a really good, memorable experience. I hope the dates work out and I'm able to have my wedding here! I would love to update this review and add photos if I do! Just a lovely house!

We had a wonderful afternoon tea. The Promont House is a lovely house and the Docent, Amy is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food and service was wonderful as well.

Little bit of history Very nice place The Promont House is a historic house located in the town of Milford, Ohio, United States. Built in 1865, it is considered one of the best examples of Victorian architecture in the region. The Promont House was the residence of the McCullough family, a prosperous Milford family involved in the shoe industry. The house is built in the Gothic Revival style, with elements of Victorian architecture and Italian architecture. The house is now open to the public as a museum, with exhibits about the life and times of the McCullough family and the history of Milford. Visitors can explore the different rooms of the house, including the grand entrance hall, dining room, library and bedrooms. The Promont House is also the headquarters of the Milford Historical Association, which hosts events and educational programs throughout the year, including tours, lectures and festivals. Promont House is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, as well as for special events and group tours. It's a great place for history and architecture buffs, as well as those who want to learn more about life in 19th-century Ohio.
