This hotel has so much potential. The rooms are nice, spacious, and have really amazing views. However the quality feels lacking compared to some of the other hotels. No mini fridge, no coffee pot, and the room had some plumbing issues. The grounds were awesome. So much to do in the hotel. The casino was great. Friendly staff, fun environment, and clean. I wish it was a little more updated.

I have stayed at almost every hotel on the strip and Luxor was a pleasant surprise. I have stayed in both a tower room and a pyramid room and have not had any issue at all. The rooms are clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. The property is a solid 3 star hotel. Keep in mind that this is a theme hotel, not a luxury hotel. I see a lot of people complaining about the lack of refrigerators and coffee makers. None of the hotels on the strip have refrigerators or coffee makers anymore. Apparently people were doing gross things with the coffee makers so probably a good thing. The elevators were fine and I am not good with elevators. Yes, they shimmy a little but nothing alarming. Customer service has always been good. If you are looking for a strip hotel that provides good value this is it.

We were here for a conference. The room was great. It was comfortable and we had a nice view. Housekeeping and maintenance were very considerate and friendly. The areas where the conference was held were well staffed and the food was great! The main desk personnel were very helpful and considerate. The hotel has changed a lot since we last stayed here 26 years ago, but we had another great visit.

No structure nor coordination as a hotel business at all and the whole place in general, no maps not many signs showing you where everything is at , you have to find your ways around. If you visit please make sure you do absolutely everything through your app , book and check in through the app to avoid a huge and very slow line . They have different parts to the hotel so like different buildings kind of , so make sure you ask someone if you get to find an employee and that way you find the right room . Elevators were out of service so had to go around the long way . The room was a 7-10 clean because I could see the dried wipe marks and the carpet was not too clean , I could see some debris all over it . If you’re sensitive to odors is not the place for you because it smells like cigar all over and there’s no designated area for smokers , they literally smoke all over the place, the carpet smells are penetrated with that cigarette odor . Also just so you guys know , everything you use in there like safe box, iron , including the calls you make are an extra charge , around $23 per call . I didn’t like it at all .

This place is nice for a short stay. There are NO amenities, just a bed, shower, and a safe. There are other hotels on the strip that have way more to offer. This was my second time staying here and my last. You are charged a resort fee nightly for AMENITIES, but you are NOT provided anything, not even a coffee maker. The room was overall clean, but that's all.

Not as bad as I would've suspected. We had a room in the pyramid. It's aged, dated, but it's still kept well enough to be passable. Parking is better on the second floor of the structure, but the entrance is on the south side. Speaking of South side, it's on the far south side of the strip so you'd have to walk quite a ways to get to the busy strip area.

Remember to use HotelTully.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. They compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't regret it. The rooms were a bit dated but extremely clean. I wish they had a mini fridge in them. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everyone at Luxor was nice and friendly. I enjoyed the location. It is close to a lot of great eating places and it is not a bad walk to other places on the strip. We had great pricing for the rooms and I felt like it was a good value for what we paid. Sometimes there was a bit of a wait for an elevator but it wasn't too bad.

It was my first time in Vegas compliments of my sister who raved about the property. Gambling was a pain sore because you could never get a drink , water, and no service period. I understand in the midst of a pandemic being understaffed. The check-in process was awesome. I wish I had remembered the young lady who assisted us. The other problem was the water went out on Wednesday night, with no signs to alert the guest that their wasn't any water. No free water offered to wash our hands nothing, but we don't have an eta. We had to go to the opposite of the building to use the restroom. Yes, they removed the resort fee and dinner. I guess there was no empathy regarding what we, as the guest endured. Sometimes it isn't always about the free more about we care about you. I have been in hospitality for over 25 years, seen it all, but caring about your guest has to come first.

Stayed here for comped nights. Our room was at the opposite end of the elevator so the walk was annoying. Pyramid rooms are super dingy and outdated and smell like a previous smoke room. The air conditioner hardly works. No in room safe or microwave. Decent cheap option but won’t stay here again.

This was our best trip yet. The food was terrific, we enjoyed every meal and late snaking at secret pizza. The games were slow but entertaining, and the tables were a blast. The room is what completes a great stay. There balcony rooms are a real game changer. Nice and clean with big showers . Great experience ✨️

This place was overall really nice and clean. The staff was accommodating to my request for extra towels and another comforter for the bed. The bedding was fairly thin. If you like privacy I suggest staying in the towers. The Premium King Suite that I stayed in had a more modern touch to it and the bathroom is a bit larger than those in the pyramid that of comparable amenities. There are no fridgerators in the rooms and the TV channels are very limited mostly Vegas ads of shows. I was disappointed to not have tried the buffet while visiting it closes at 5 or 6pm! House keeping did a fairly good job each day of my stay but I could tell they did not mop the bathroom floor because a shoe print I saw my first day was still there the day I left. I wore slides the whole time in and out of the shower so I didn't feel like making it a big deal. The timeshare ladies are very sneaky, they make you feel like they're there to help you check in but then start pitching the timeshare meeting. That was annoying after having my flight delayed 6 hours all I wanted to do was get checked in and lay down. Don't think they stop pitching you once the same lady tried to stop my group 3 times in 1 day! I'm not a gambler so I didn't walk the casino floor but I'm sure if you've seen one you've seen them all.

Really cool hotel, staying in a pyramid is not something I thought I'd do! Rooms are clean and very comfortable, great beds and the showers are excellent. Could do with a few more lifts as we were a long walk away from any way down to the ground floor. Casino was good, flight bar was very handy being 24 hour. It is quite a way away from the main strip and Fremont Street but the Deuce bus is great for getting around. The pool was excellent.

Luxor was really amazing! Such a beautiful hotel. Our rooms were very clean, had air purifiers and the bed was soo comfortable. The staff kept our towels stocked. The staff were also all so nice and accommodating with everything. The crowd was more chill than some of the other casinos around which we were so happy about. We were able to get to 3 different casinos from the Luxor which was nice and really opened up our walkable food options. We were really impressed considering the price of the start was so good. Not to mention we earned a good amount of free play from the slots. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I was looking forward to a fun and relaxing vacation, and I was deeply disappointed with the Luxor. Check-in line was long and slow, elevator was slanted and 3 out of 4 were broken, which meant wait time of 15-30 minutes for an elevator! Room smelled like it was a smoking room masked by cleaning spray, and there was to cleaning service for the 3 nights. The hotel just felt very old, dated, and has lost its luster. And all this for $500/night? Absolutely ridiculous.

We went and saw The Blue Man group. The show was fantastic really enjoyable. We ate at the food court it was a little bit pricey but the food was good. We ate at Johnny rockets. There are a couple of flights of stairs and the down escalator was not working that was the only drawback. Currently I need some help with going downstairs the elevator was not close that we could find so I managed the stairs one step at a time. But the escalator would have been better. Otherwise it has very interesting exhibits currently the Titanic. And body works. The Blue Man group and carrot top.

A resort named under MGM but not worth it anymore. Pop corn sealing, smelly rooms, poor designs, resort facilities shared with other resort ( makes it worth less) they are trying hard to attract good crowds but don’t think it’s working. Self Parking is complex and hard to walk. If you figure out the route behind the hotel, they will share at least $18 without any guarantee for break in. I guess $18 is too less for them to afford a security guard! Be prepared for long walks between elevators and room. Color coding system which will be understood only by receptionist. MGM rewards App works best if you are not parking. If you are parking and paid online for self parking, you will need to visit reception to avoid double charge. Long lines at reception. Pyramid shape makes rooms smaller and congested. You will be attracted by low price but might end up saving only $20 dollars. Go to other resort so they can destroy this and build something better Flush button in center for athletic guests who like to find the spot while on business. No towel hangers, no water kettle, no mini fridge Your resort fee is waste, pool is non functional

This hotel is absolutely incredible! The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, making you feel right at home. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The amenities are top-notch, from the refreshing pool to the well-equipped fitness center. The breakfast buffet is simply delicious, offering a wide variety of tasty options. The location is ideal, with stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, this hotel offers a memorable experience that exceeds expectations. I highly recommend it for a delightful stay.

I cannot believe for so many years I was under the impression that this place was a "nice" hotel. I had never booked there before and thought it would be good to finally see how it was. MISTAKE!!! There is no coffee, no microwave, or a fridge in the rooms. The elevators were usually crowded which required a wait and especially check out time when you just wanna get outta there. No option to take the stairs either so we spent some time in the halls while we were there. Checking in at front desk was fine and they were friendly but trying to call front desk from our room proved to be too much for them. They were not nice and they did not even do what I had called and asked them to do so we basically were ignored. So many things were just ghetto and falling apart from the room having broken glass in it to the elevator doors literally peeling apart. I'm bummed I chose this hotel as it was the 3 people I was with 1st time in Vegas so it was supposed to be an awesome trip for them. The room was at least clean enough but the experience there for me and the others I was with was awful. There are so many other options I would not make the mistake!!

Booked and paid for a king size suite. Flew all the way to Vegas to find out they did not have that for me. No phone call beforehand to say it wasn’t available. No Refund for the extra amount I paid, Nothing. I booked this weeks ago and now at 8pm after flying from the west coast I have to make last minute changes. Don’t book here unprofessional all around. Don’t take my money if you don’t have the Room! I understand my money means nothing to them- but this trip meant a lot to us and it was obvious that meant nothing to this place and its staff whatsoever. Go somewhere that will value your business. The manager literally laughed at us. Boycott MGM

The rooms was nice and size was good. Water pressure was wonderful. The room in the pyramid the hot water took a long time to get warm. The room in the tower was hot right away. The rooms did show some aging but nothing horrible. The bed in the pyramid was more comfortable than the tower bed. Neither shower exhaust fan worked. Over all it was a good experience.

The Luxor has always been average, and continues to be just that. The parking situation is usually awful unless you get valet. Upon entering you will find the hotel itself to be stunning. It is unique and an experience in itself. But for every good issue, there’s a flaw. The rooms are always average but entering the verge of awful. Waited about 25 minutes to check in and received an “upgrade”. The room was in the 1b section of the hotel. It seemed nice upon first glance, but it was overall dirty. The sheets had large brown stains on the corner and the wallpaper was bubbling up all over due to incorrect installation. Bathroom was okay, but the tile needed to be deep cleaned. The room was nonsmoking but reeked of cigarettes. Especially the pillows. The casino is probably as basic as it gets. The restaurants are good. (Specifically Public House, and the Pyramid Cafe). But the casino feels like you aren’t even in the Luxor. The theme has been completely washed away and the slots just feel thrown around to take up space. There’s really nothing special about it. No personality except the bar has a live DJ on Saturday. Did not use the pool but I was not missing much. It didn’t look that great. To conclude, I have stayed here 3 times. All have been just average. Do not expect anything more than that. This resort is nice because you don’t necessarily have to deal with the crowds of the strip as it is slightly off strip. Even when it’s busy it is still better than the strip crowds. And this is certainly a better experience than Excalibur which always feels dirty. But you’re getting what you’re paying for in this case.

The check-in process didn't take too long, and she was super friendly and helpful. I didn't understand why they made you pay for self parking when you're already paying to stay there. I can understand if you're just stopping by. However, the room was nice and clean and had a funky smell. On the non-smoking floor 3. The shower pressure was amazing!!

A great hotel. Location is excellent - far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to. Comfortable walking distance to countless shops and restaurants. Room was great. Service was great. Pool was not so great. Very shallow throughout. Lots of smokers, even a couple in the pool (security ultimately got them to stop but it seemed so widespread can't blame them for trying). Absolutely no shade anywhere. Aggressive sale of loungers, umbrellas, cabanas etc. This detracted from the experience after already paying a 'resort fee'. All in all, good value, great service, and a nice experience. Perfect if you want a casino, shows and a nice location. Not great if you want a resort with a pool.

We stayed in a pyramid corner suite which has a whirlpool bath next to the window which was fun and the bathroom and shower was good. Pyramid room, halls and elevators do look dated and tired, but were really spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. Think the new tower rooms are more modern, but didn't see any to comment. Location was great for walking to a majority of the big casinos as well as the stadium. All the staff we met were polite and helpful. Overall a great iconic stay with the mega price, compared with some of the other hotel casinos.

We stayed in the tower, and I'm not sure if these rooms are older than in the pyramid, but it was dated and kind of dirty. There was mold in the shower and the drain didn't work very well. The water pressure was awesome and I liked the shower head. They also had a full tub, which would have been nice but I didn't trust the cleanliness to use it. The room itself seemed clean, the sheets and furniture. There are no fridges in the rooms, or at least not in ours. There is always a line a mile long to check in and it moves SLOWLY. I tried to do mobile check in, but the app just said "preparing room" (well past the 3 pm check in time), so we had to wait in that line anyway. The line is there every time we walk through the lobby. The lobby is super cool with lots of Egyptian decor. Relatively inexpensive for Vegas so I guess you get what you pay for.

Spacious room/s with interesting pyramid structure! Place was well maintained and elegant! Had easy access to food court/ restaurants. Would have given it 5 stars if our non smoking room was equipped with a microwave and complimentary coffee with its coffee maker. Overall, amenities and service was excellent! Will highly recommend.

You get what you pay for. Not a bad place but definitely dated. Rooms have connecting doors which means you will CLEARLY hear anything in the next room. Bathrooms are dated fixtures are stained and old, toilets hiss, lights flicker, shower heads are calcinated. The titanic and bodies exhibitions were great, well designed, and reasonably priced. Buffet was standard. Pool was standard, lacking organization. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall not impressed but not upset either, pretty on point with other online reviews about this property.

Great spot on the strip. Easy check-in process. You do have to pay for parking, and the pool hours are weird on weekdays. They also have weird hours for room service, so plan ahead if that's what you usually do! Everything is accessible by a smart phone, which is really convenient. The room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean!

Checking In: We arrived on a Sunday. The lines were terribly long so we opted to check in using the self check app to avoid the line. We eventually had to get in line anyway to GET A PHYSICAL KEY because the digital key didn’t work. Some people even got stuck on the elevator because a key is required to select your floor. Very frustrating! Room: The Pyramid King Room was spacious but it definitely needed some updating. There was an empty space where there had been a mini fridge but nothing else in its place, weird. All the important places in the room were clean but we could see some debris under the bathroom sink. The inside of the shower was clean but the caulking was molded. I used flip flops in the shower cause I found the molded caulking super gross. The comfort of the bed was okay. Overall for the price, the room sufficed. Hotel: The concept is great but this place needs some serious work. The carpets are old, are loose and buckled, have holes or are torn. The ELEVATORS are old and not as clean as should be. During our entire week stay, only 2 elevators worked, causing a lot of frustration, especially on the weekend when the masses arrived. Pool: This was our favorite part of this hotel. We rented a small cabana for $200 right by the pool and it was so worth it. We could come and go and the Cabana was ours all day. It included waters, ice buckets, towels and an assigned server to check on us throughout the day and refill our ice and waters. We ordered food, reasonably priced and very tasty. Overall: Since we got a great deal for our stay, I’ll say that we were okay with this place. I would never pay full price for this hotel though. RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. Get a physical Key for your room. 2. Inspect your room for cleanliness and AC working as soon as you get in. 3. Bring your own alcohol to mix in your room, saves money. 4. Get to the pool right when it opens and rent the small cabana to have all day.

I would have given a better rating, but the ac in our room didn't work. Three different repairmen came each day to try to fix the issue. However, the room never got cool. They did give us two fans but never changed our room. Also, they removed the resort fees and gave us $100 credit for food. We ate at the sports bar American food restaurant Public House. Their food and service were 5 stars! Please order the ribs.... We attempted to eat at the Mexican restaurant, but the staff was extremely rude. Get a bus pass. It's only $8 for 24 hours. It was very hot, and temperatures were as high as 108°. The bus stop is outside of the hotel. It's safe, and the ac works well. On our last day, we found a shoe and old fruit in our room under the bed. The rooms could have been cleaned better.

The hotel was extremely busy. We didn't speak to a single employee the whole time we were there. Check-in/check out was all done via the app. It saved so much time not having to wait in line it also has a cool digital room key feature, which was awesome. The room was OK. we did get the upgraded room, which didn't seem like much of an upgrade. The room was pretty small, outdated, there was no fridge and not so clean but well stocked with towels. Location is not ideal it's basically the second last hotel on the strip, which is fine when the tram is working. Otherwise, make sure you have really really good walking shoes or a lot of money to fork out for taxis. But overall the hotel theme and decorations are really cool as seen in the photos.

Basically a typical MGM Hotel. Of course with the special touch of the Pyramid. But beside of this quiet basic for a Vegas Experience. The refurbished rooms in the Towers are good and comfortable, but very dark. Try to get a room at the end of the corridor, you can hear every single word from outside. The room service is good once you have them, but many times you need to call the housekeeping to get it sorted. Also if the room was empty the whole day. Nice bathroom and comfortable linen and bed. The elevators are strange and should be refurbished as well. The Pool area is basically nice made, but need more shadow and water cleaning. The Service at the pool was tricky and the online tool to order, just partially available. The Casino is very dark. We like to play table games, but it is a very frustration experience. Most of the Dealers are not engaged with the visitors. So very boring compared to other places. In a summary, it was our first and last stay in the Luxor as there are much better places in Vegas

Attended a military conference. This was my first stay in this hotel. Check-in process was seamless. The staff was professional accommodating and friendly. They enforced mask protocols. AC in the room struggled which is why I'm giving four out of five stars. Food options were okay wanted to get to the pyramid cafe but was not able to.

Room A/C stopped working day 2 and after 2days of going back and forth with front desk still nothing. Its 100 degrees here and when I come in from outside I prefer my room not be 85. Will never stay here again or refer anybody to stay here. The only people that are helpful are the housekeeping who tried their best to make us comfortable

While the hotel itself, in my opinion, was a 5-star experience - I did have some quarrels. First off, the room was great. The location was amazing. The amenities were awesome. The design was incredible. There was a lot of things to do without even leaving the hotel. But, the elevator gave me issues every single time I used it. The key and digital key would never register for my floor and it got very very irritating. I had to take the stairs many times. The vending machine on my floor also had an issue taking plastic. These things aside my stay was great! But the hotel would be better off fixing those small issues.

The room was nice. The king bed was very comfortable and the sheets were awesome. The overheard shower was nice too. I'm tall and could stand completely under it The check in experience was honestly bad. The line when I came in was huge so I tried to do the online check in and it wasn't working. An incredibly helpful employee came over and helped me get it started but then something there didn't work right either and I had to go back to her to get that fixed. The elevators weren't great. They take forever to get to you. You have to scan your card to get to your floor but the scanners didn't work about 20% of the time. Every time I was on the elevator at least one person couldn't scan their card which leaves them going through every floor and then back down until they get it to work. It happened to me once and it's super frustrating. I'll still give 4 stars because the room itself was nice and the hotel is on the strip. But there really needs to be some work done on the smaller things to make this a better place to stay

It's a nice hotel with interesting layout. We stayed in the Pyramid room and rooms even though the rooms are large enough they may seem bit dated. We got good deal for rooms. Exterior of hotel is pretty good and there are decent food options. Free tram service to Excalibur is helpful and station does provide good view on Spinx. Staff is really friendly including arranging cab service. The swimming pool is amazing and kept clean. Room service is really good and they ensure the room is maintained in top condition. On the flip side, Luxor is slightly away from downtown so you need to take cab or tram and walk. It was not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind. Also, there is lack of coffee machine in room and carpet may seems bit dated. Also, showers did not have a glass slider door, which caused water to spill out of shower area. Room service did ensure everything is clean and spot on. We did complain to front desk and they were gracious enough to give us $40 credit Overall stay was comfortable. Definitely worth considering for stay on strip

This is a great hotel! It has the potential to be a five-star experience, but due to some minor factors I have to give it a four star review. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend it for anyone who's looking to stay on the strip with access to lots of casinos, shows, and restaurants. The good: beautiful architecture, room, ambiance and shows! There's even a nice app that shows you all your room and hotel information. The app was really usefulbfor getting in the self parking structure. There's also a cool path that can get you to the other hotels (New York, New York; MGM, etc) What can be improved: the phone app can definitely be improved. Especially the functionality of the digital key. You need to use the key to activate the elevator and room, but for some reason the key wasn't very consistent. There were times I'd hover my phone, tap it to the little terminal there for minutes without it working. Eventually it would work but sometimes when you're in the elevator with a bunch of people it's just embarrassing. Also, it's kind of difficult to navigate the place, and maybe there's a way for them to add a map or something in the app. It's easy to get lost sometimes, but maybe that's what they want so that you just end up in the casino 😂 If they can refine the app a little more, that would make the experience totally painless.

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel and casino. First off let me say to skip the app to open your door. Go straight to the desk and print your keys - which just means set up the plastic key cards. You're not printing anything. That's going to be the extent the app is good for. I tried arranging for late checkout. That didn't work. Arranged for no daily services for the room... Still made up the room. They obviously don't actually pay attention to the app. In theory it would be a great idea but in practice it sucks. The rooms are clean and fairly nice. TV is a joke but let's be real, no one watches the TV in Vegas. No refrigerator or coffee maker in the pyramid rooms. The elevators are in bad shape and the public areas are tired and have been rode hard. Food is good but not amazing. There are a few notes of merit. Check reviews before you go. Love the tables. I shoot craps and the dealers here are some of the most friendly I've encountered in Vegas so far. Minimum tends to be $15-$25... Can be more depending on the time of the day. All in all probably one of the better "budget" hotels and casinos on the strip...

Quick review. 4 night stay. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. No mini fridge. AC temp locks at 65... the room wasn't colder than 77. (It's July in 100 degree weather.. I understand) All services I received were amazing and the staff were polite and friendly. Pool was nice but very little shaded spots. Went to the show Blue Man group that was awesome. The room service breakfast was good. The steak house and the bar/grill restaurant on property were good as well. Overall, it was a good hotel. It just needs some updating and remodeling. P.S. The elevators are sketchy.

We stayed here for three nights. First of all the price was good. The people up front at the desk was very nice. The only thing that I probably had an issue with was the rooms themselves. The room really didn't seem very luxury for staying in Las Vegas. I know you're not really supposed to stay in the room. You're supposed to be downstairs gambling. But one it said that it was supposed to have a fridge which it did not. There was no body wash. Only body lotion and shampoo. There was basic cable which you would think you get better cable in Vegas. Other than that it wasn't too bad of a stay. I probably would try a different hotel next time I stay in Vegas. The rooms needed to be more updated. Also, they need to fix the elevators because they were horrible

My stay at the Luxor Hotel was a lavish experience. Here's an in-depth review with some helpful insights: Room Luxuries: The rooms truly live up to the hotel's name – they are spacious, comfortable, and exude a touch of luxury. Perfect for a good night's rest after a day of exploring the city. Location Advantage: The Luxor's location is excellent, right on the Strip. You're within walking distance of many iconic attractions, making it a prime starting point for your Vegas adventures. Pro Tips: Consider booking a room with a view of the Strip for a more memorable stay. I got a room with Pyramid view itself. Parking: There's ample parking space, but it can get crowded, so arriving during off-peak hours is a good idea. Pool Time: The pool area is a wonderful place to unwind. Get there early to snag a good spot. Budget Consideration: Keep in mind that while it's a fantastic hotel, some aspects can be a bit pricey. So, plan your budget accordingly. The Luxor Hotel and Casino is a fantastic choice for a Vegas getaway, offering comfortable and luxurious rooms, a prime location on the Strip, and plenty of entertainment and dining options. Whether you're visiting for relaxation, exploration, or gaming, it's a top-notch spot for an unforgettable stay in the heart of Las Vegas. 🌆🎲

I didn't stay at the Luxor, just visited it for a show and some Blackjack. It was a great place from what I could see and would recommend it and the tables, especially if you want to learn how to play, the dealers will teach you how to play. Was a lot of fun being there. Plus there handicap-accessible as well.

Luxor really impressed my wife & I overall, the standard king tower room was clean, beautiful, had a nice view, and was away from all the smoke and noise of the Pyramid and its rooms (I have never stayed in those, but I can imagine). It also felt safe and romantic in that it was quite. The walls did not seem too thin either, which is always a plus. It even had a big soaking tub, and separate shower in the bathroom. The ONLY reasons the room was not 5 star, is the lack of a Fridge, coffeemaker and microwave in the rooms. The microwave might not be, but IMO a fridge and coffeemaker should be standard in pretty much all rooms now. The hotel itself had extremely nice staff, all were helpful and attentive, and it was beautiful and well themed and honestly very clean everywhere. The Casino was a good size, and had most everything you could want. We also saw Titanic The Artifact Exhibition there and it was definitely worth seeing IMO.

Trash bags and bags of laundry outside room when checking in. Come out in the morning with still trash and laundry outside room. Long hall to room with lights burned out. No directions to number of room when you get off elevator you have to wonder till you see which way to go. No hot water for shower. Warm for husband then cold for me. Have to pay for parking. Would never stay here again. I'm so glad I only booked one night. Bed was comfortable.

Fun Egyptian themed casino. Great location and lots of dining options and entertainment options inside the building. The tram connects to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur making getting around really easy. Our rooms were not as clean as I would have liked them but the service was great. we used the deep bathtub every day.

Comfortable clean and decent. Fairly priced. Better than the flamingo that we spent more at! We enjoyed the elevator key entry. The extra pillows, water pressure and temperature! Really appreciated our stay here. 24 hr restaurant was good too.

I enjoyed my stay at Luxor. They have most friendly staff. I can't recommend staying in the pyramid rooms, as cool as it is they are not very clean and the ac is non existent, even in the renovated rooms. Stayed in a tower suite and loved it. Love that you don't have to walk far to get to your room.

I'm pretty easy to please, but my experience was less than enjoyable. Went to pull a handle on a door near the pool and it broke off of the door. Panels falling off the wall in the elevators. Our room smelled so badly of cannabis (which like cool, it's Vegas, I get it) but when we called to asked for help in the morning we were given the run around and were not moved until afternoon after they made us feel it was our fault for not calling earlier (which we did.) No one enforced mask policy (except one lady bike cop.) Overall kinda rough compared to my other stays in Vegas, including cheaper hotels. All of that aside, the exhibits are well managed and taken care of. A delight. Pool well maintained and a great atmosphere.

Have stayed here twice and had great stays! It's pretty south strip so a bit of a walk depending where you are going, but for the price it's defiantly worth it to me. Very clean room. Stayed in both the pyramid and tower and prefer the tower, slightly bigger room with an updated bathroom (and bathtub). Elevators are fast, housekeeping is very friendly. Plenty of options for eating and some cheap quick options of chicken, burgers and pizza in the upper level. Quick walk to Mandalay Bay or Excalibur. Nice location if you plan on seeing a show since 3 main shows are in this hotel. The casino is very dark and not my favorite on the strip. Strong smoke smell in there, but rooms do not have a smoke smell at all. The architecture of this hotel is my favorite on the strip, the sheer size of the atrium is amazing meanwhile most hotels are simply going for "modern" and can be boring

Went in winter so no pool. Got a corner pyramid suite and was nice for Luxor. Spacious, but basic. Big tub in bedroom area was nice, but we brought our kids so wife and I couldn't "use" it. Casino is big enough. Food options somewhat limited. Location sucks, but tram to Mandalay Bay and the second Excalibur stop allows you to pretty easily get to NY,NY. We'll be back because it really is a good value for what you pay.

The Luxor Hotel and Casino was an enjoyable stay for us. The check-in receptionist, Yvonne, was professional courteous and went out of her way to accommodate our desires. Kudos to Yvonne for making our stay a memorable experience. Our elite tower room suite was fantastic with a great view of the snow-capped Mount Charleston in the distance. West tower was convenient to pool. The Egyptian motif including the entire interior and exterior pyramid is quite unique and worth a visit even if not staying here. Large pool area, with one small hot tub. Employees are are friendly and courteous. Easy walk or free tram to adjoining casinos. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Unique atmosphere with a fun Egyptian theme. Good combination of sit down restaurants as well as a food court for dining at every budget. Casino has a good variety of slots and table games. Three different shows available for your entertainment including Blue Man Group, as well as other exhibits to check out. Newly remodeled rooms for your enjoyment. Highly recommend a pyramid room for the iconic aesthetic but the towers are lovely as well. Especially at this price point you can’t beat this piece of the MGM portfolio.

I visited the Luxor Casino for a day and I had a great time. The casino is huge and has a lot of games to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. I enjoyed the Egyptian theme and the pyramid shape of the building. The food was also good and reasonably priced. I can’t say anything about the rooms because I haven’t stayed there, but I would definitely recommend the casino to anyone looking for some entertainment in Vegas.

I’ve stayed at the Luxor once in one of the towers, but I do appreciate the aesthetics of the pyramid with the light shining into the sky. As a place to stay and play it was perfectly fine, but nothing felt like it stood out other than the aforementioned architecture. Good for a change of pace definitely and perhaps I’ll stay again and upgrade my review when I find more uniqueness to enjoy.

Honestly, with the price that we paid for, I didn't really expect much. So I guess that's a good thing. Lol. But it's pretty good. Their staff is friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early and didn't need to pay extra to check in early. We just went to the front desk and asked nicely if we could check in. 😁 We stayed at the east tower. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room just needs some updating, but it's still good. I love the fact that it's connected to the other hotels and that there's a free tram that we're able to use to get to the other hotels. 😊

The most honest review you’ll get. If you think you have a good rate, be sure to know you’ll be paying an additional $30USD/ Night. Hidden fees are a big thing here. Next, you’ll be amazed at first until you realize how dirty the place is and vomit/smoke smelling everywhere. Any other hotel doesn’t have this because I’ve walked through each of them and can tell you honestly this isn’t a good spot. Our hotel room had beer bottle caps on our floors. You will have to pay for a fridge if you want to keep things cooled. Our housekeeping barely puts away our garbage and gives us a bag to throw our garbage away. Not sure why I’m paying for room fees at this point, all I get is a bed made when I can easily do that myself. The pools are probably the only good thing. Besides the fact you have to pay around $100+ for a shaded bed or a booth for way more expensive. You got tons of cockroaches running around the entrance area which is pretty gross to see when you’re walking out of main entrances. King tut, titanic and bodies executions are all not included so another money grab but do it at your own discretion. Buffet at Luxor seemed cheap until we went and they charged us another $10 because it’s a weekend. Other than that the food was good.

We loved our stay here! Room was always clean, thick walls so you can’t hear anything outside, friendly staff. We went to the Titanic museum which was incredible. Two reasons I don’t give it 5 stars is because the website mentions “free breakfast” which isn’t true, and the pool is closed by 6pm. That’s pretty early. With how long it stays hot down there I would have wanted the pool open until at least 9. Would recommend this place!

Definitely the 1st and last stay. Got off a late night flight to find tons of guests waiting on a line at the front desk to check in at the luxor. To expedite things...I downloaded the mobile app which went fine. Everything took a turn for the worst in the elevator going up to the room. The elevators are a death trap. It was dirty , scrapped up and operated with the door slightly open. It shook so badly it was scary. At one point it stopped suddenly and I pitched to the other side of the elevator. I was just happy to make it to my floor. Walking to the room, there were old dirty carpets and stinky hallways. The door was similar to the hallways. There was hair in the bathtub and the drain sink stopper was missing leaving a drain with a smell that would make anyone vomit. The room has no mini fridge which on inquiry was deliberately removed so guests can rent fridges for a fee. The last straw was the air conditioner which struggled to operate and could not cool the room. Imagine sleeping in 100 degrees Las Vegas... It was beyond terrible. We attempted to talk to someone at the front desk to complain but was met by the extremely long line of guests waiting to speak to someone. Since it was very late and we were tired, we went up for the night. We spent the next hour of our vacation calling different hotels. By the middle of the night we located a different hotel and left the Luxor in the AM for good.

Passable experience overall. I came out to Vegas to run an errand and needed an inexpensive room for the night. Check in was quick. I used the mobile check in and despite booking though a 3rd party I was still able to use mobile check in which allowed me to skip the massive line. I booked a pyramid queen room. It was pretty dated with the exception of the bathroom which sported an updated vanity and newer tile shower surround and floors. The reminder of the room appeared to have not been updated in quite some time. Since it was summer I utilized the pool. It was very refreshing in the 112 degree heat. It was very busy for a Sunday afternoon but not hard to find a lounge chair. A fair room and resort, well worth the price I paid.

Great hotel and experience, especially if you are into ancient Egypt history. The hotel is actually shaped in a pyramid, which is absolutely awesome. They have all the amenities that you need, entertainment, and, of course, the casino. Great atmosphere for all ages. I highly recommend this hotel. Book early and go through their site to get some great deals!

The Luxor Hotel was once undeniably a beautiful establishment. Special commendations to Cam, Anthony, and Sofia for their outstanding pool service. Opting for reserved pool seating with shade on the first day was a great choice. However, the hotel's elevator system seriously requires attention. We experienced a frustrating ordeal trying to reach our floor, involving nearly 2 hours, multiple trips to the ever-busy front desk, and ultimately needing security's assistance due to issues with the digital key system. Our initial room smelled heavily of smoke, but the hotel staff promptly reserved and moved us to another. Kudos for the smooth transition. Those with gluten-free preferences, will appreciate the buffet, with various GF items clearly marked. The connectivity of the Luxor to both Mandalay Bay and Excalibur via a walkway is a convenience not to be overlooked. Numerous dining options are available, and if you enjoy a smooth ride, there's a free tram connecting all three hotels. While the rooms were clean and maintained, the hotel's general aesthetics feel dated. A renovation might help to elevate the overall guest experience. In conclusion, the stay was worthwhile for the price point. Yet, I'd give it a 3-star rating primarily because of the elevator ordeal, which felt like a scene straight out of an escape room challenge.

This is my 3rd stay here but probably my last. While the service is always great, the location is nice and it's usually on the lower priced end so the affordability is great. But the care of rooms isn't really there anymore. Our room had bottle caps on the floor, a few hairs in the bed, and dust on every table almost as if it wasn't even wiped down, and that was for an upgraded corner suite. While it's a cool hotel to stay in, will probably spend more $ for a nicer hotel next time.

I had an incredible stay at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas! The iconic pyramid design was not only visually stunning but also made it easy to find my way around. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The casino offered a fantastic array of games, and I had a blast trying my luck. The dining options were impressive, from casual to upscale, and the food was delicious. The entertainment choices were top-notch, and I caught a fantastic show during my stay. One highlight was the pool area – a great place to relax and soak up the Las Vegas sun. And if you're in the mood for some pampering, the spa was a real treat. Overall, the Luxor Hotel and Casino provided a unique and memorable Las Vegas experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of entertainment, relaxation, and distinctive design.

I stayed in a tower room that had a view of the pool. The sound insulation in this room was terrible! We could hear construction truck back up beeping and jackhammering every morning. The adjoining room might as well have not had a door bc we could hear every conversation. Anytime someone closed their room door in the hallway it shook our room door too.... So, constant opening And closing of doors banging, people talking in the hall and in the next room. Housekeeping knocking on doors at 7:30am..... Just zero sound control! No refrigerator or coffee maker, no fan in the bathroom, very dim lighting. Housekeeping came quickly when service was requested... (Called 3 different times: for towels, toilet paper, and a TV remote, all three times they delivered within 20 minutes and were very nice). Bed was clean and comfortable. Shower water pressure was good.

The room was clean and comfortable. Doesn't have a microwave or coffee maker but over priced coffee is available at Starbucks. The beds were super comfy. Our only real complaint was that the entire hotel including our room was hot and uncomfortable. The staff were very nice and even polite. The casino is your average Vegas casino.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly and nice. It's not on the main strip. But I believe a good 10 to 15 min drive will get you where you need to go. I wish they had a shuttle to pick you up from the airport. Other than that everything was good. Just expect the price of everything to be higher than your use too.

We stayed in Luxor hotel & casino for a night. We booked two rooms with two queen beds for 4 people. Luxor hotel & casino is a very popular place for party and offers different things to enjoy including different places to eat, titanic museum as well as casino. The room was neat and clean and a room with two queen bedrooms can accommodate 4 people. The only drawback is parking as it is difficult to find the parking and even the people on the front desk was not able to tell the exact location of the parking.

Even after almost 20 years since my first stay, the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas is still one of the most impressive hotels I've ever seen. The pyramid architecture is truly unique, and it's easy to understand why it's become an iconic symbol of the city. Although I didn't stay at the hotel this time, I couldn't resist revisiting the hotel and catching the famous Blue Man Group show. The Blue Man Group show at the Luxor is an absolute must-see. The performers put on a truly spectacular performance that combines music, comedy, and visual effects in a way that is truly unique. Even after all these years, the show still feels fresh and innovative, and the performers are incredibly talented. While I didn't stay at the Luxor this time around, I did have a chance to explore the hotel and its amenities. The casino floor is spacious and lively, with a great selection of slot machines and table games. The hotel's restaurants and bars are also worth checking out, with a variety of options to suit every taste and budget. Overall, I would definitely recommend a visit to the Luxor Hotel, even if you're not staying overnight. The Blue Man Group show is a must-see, and the hotel's architecture and amenities are impressive in their own right. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning guest, the Luxor is a great choice for a fun and memorable Las Vegas experience.

Honestly, we didn't get to stay here, but we probably should have! The architect of this building is amazing! The way the rooms are situated around the whole building is a beautiful design. The inside is so gorgeous and really took my breath away, to be honest. Plus they have shopping and a food court as well. Along with two different museums to be able to see. It was awesome being able to walk around such a beautiful building.

The check-in process was really smooth, and the person was very friendly. Room layout and size were decent, and the king-sized bed was very comfortable. I wish Vegas hotels would include a coffee machine in the room. I have stayed in all the main Vegas hotels, and none have a coffee machine. Even with one, I would still go downstairs and buy coffee. Room was clean, the shower head was really powerful, which is another plus. Overall, good stay.

I've stayed at the Luxor before, and this stay left a little bit to be desired. We did one breakfast at the buffet, and it was terrible. I paid an awful lot of money for not a whole lot of food. That was really not good at all. Our room was very basic and very bare bones. I remember the rooms having big, ornate Egyptian entertainment centers and this just looked like any room anywhere else in the world. My fault for not reading the fine print, but our two queen room didn't even have a refrigerator. We did have plenty of towels, some toiletries, and a really cheap, cheap blow dryer. The closet only had one hanger in it, and there was no security bolt for the door. The TV only had seven stations, two of which were in Spanish and three of which were news stations. Disappointing to say the least. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable, I just hoped for more out of a themed casino in Las Vegas. We didn't visit the pool, but it did look clean and while it was also not very exciting, it looked like folks were having fun.

Perfectly good hotel for the price. It's starting to feel little tired around the edges but the rooms are clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful. We stayed in one of the tower rooms which was perfect. The reception advised us not to go for a pool view as that side can be quite noisy! It's a lot smaller and quieter than some of the casinos and its located at the far end which means that to get to the main strip area area you will be traveling for a good 20mins every day.

The tub in our room was gorgeous & fit not only my whole body but my boyfriend's too. Their little convenience store inside was reasonable & I love the check bags feature at most hotels in LV. Only rating 4 stars because of the long lines & some of the employees weren't the friendliest.

We stayed here for a week during our vacation; it was great! Check-in: we checked in online about 15 hours before the 3pm check-in and that went smoothly. Upon arriving, there was quite a line. MGM Gold members and up have a dedicated line. The staff member that helped me, Portia, was awesome. I was stressed when arriving, but she put me at ease, calmed me down, and even helped add my Southwest rapid rewards member number to our reservation. It was one of the best check-in experiences I've ever had. Housekeeping: hit or miss. Once we got a late start in the day, called for housekeeping, and they never came. But they did a good job refreshing the room when they did come around. Food: we didn't eat anything made by the hotel. Checkout: it was very smooth checking out via an email they sent. Parking: MGM Gold members receive free self-parking if using the rewards card to enter & exit the parking lot. This hotel has their own dedicated parking lot. There are 2 different entrances & exits on the bottom and a separate entrance & exit for the top floor. Super weird parking structure. It was also not clear how to find the Luxor parking either, but it is labeled as "Parking Luxor" in Google Maps.

When was the last time you got a round of applause? Well, when you visit Luxor Hotel and Casino, it feels like you're getting a round of applause 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I know that may sound excessive right now, but wait until you experience it. You'll feel like Cher. Believe me, she gets a round of applause wherever she goes, especially in Canada. And so will you, so get ready. At the Luxor, you get to experience super cool pyramid-style fun because the place is shaped like a pyramid! Unbelievable. Also, after reading this review, I truly hope you can use the above information to your benefit. You have access to the food court, by the way! I should've mentioned that earlier in the review process. They serve pizza. The guy who served me my slice has some sort of chemical burns on his arm. Man, I should've asked him how it happened.

It's pretty much the same as it was when I stayed here over 15 years ago. The lobby and casino area smell weird. I specifically asked for a tower room, which they accommodated. That was nice. King size bed on the 19th floor was a decent size. Larger windows. Separate soaking tub and a decent shower. Check-in takes entirely too long. You shouldn't have to stand in line for 30 min or longer. The gym is decent, and the pool area is OK. The pool has lay flat chairs but they are close together. Facing the sun later in the day can be a challenge unless you want to rearrange the seating area. Some really drunk people at the pool. One lady could barely stand up and threw up all over the pool deck. Maybe regulate the drunkenness in the pool area. Food options are OK, but you can walk to Mandalay Bay for better choices.

Got stung by a bee while out at the pool (it was my fault, I actually put my hands on the bee) and everyone from the lifeguards to security to the front desk woman who followed up with me later was SO helpful! They took me seriously, gave me an ice pack, and didn't let me go back to my room until they knew I was in the clear and not having a serious reaction. I appreciate the staff at the Luxor and plan on coming back. This is not my first time here but my first time having an incident and I truly appreciate them - the rooms, the gambling, the food, all good! Thanks Luxor!!

My 2 stars are being quite generous. The only positive about this hotel is the pool. I reserved a daybed and received continued service for beverages and lunch. The website does NOT inform you that normal lounge chairs are FREE. This would have been helpful. Our room was a disaster. Wallpaper was falling down. Crickets were infesting the room the first night. This made for a sleepless night of hunting them down and squashing them. Only one elevator worked. This hotel needs massive renovations. Beware, if you are looking for romance and luxury, you will certainly not find it here.

Decent hotel on the strip. Very dated, needs an overhaul. Elevators in west tower look like they're 50 years old. Rooms were comfortable but nothing that I couldn't get from your basic cheap hotel, except for coffee in the room. A $35 resort fee for zero amenities? Would recommend staying at any of the nicer resorts on the strip. Go to Luxor only for the shows.

Dated. As expected. Maintenance needs to be better - sink didn't drain properly, panels off in the elevators with wiring exposed, things like that. AC worked well - important when it's 115 during the day! Pool was nice - thankful for the cabanas! Public House was very good, Backstage Deli very good and reasonably priced. Tight slots, but what do you expect, really? Overall, good experience.

The rooms were fine - super lame that they don't have a fridge or microwave, but I suppose that's to be expected on the strip. Elevator near our room was down, which lead to lots of walking. Pool was nice, but wish you could bring outside drinks.

2.5 to 3 stars. Hotel is outdated, although the rooms are clean. The bed was comfortable, but the shower door needed some repairs. The check-in process was super long. Waited in line for almost an hour due to the holiday. I only stayed one night. I feel there are better options on the strip in this price range to choose from.

Good for a first time visit at Vegas. Cool Egyptian themed pyramid hotel and pretty well connected transportation wise. Rooms were clean and spacious, and a pretty good price for being on the strip. Would be nicer if they provided water bottles and a fridge but we made do with what we had. Elevators need to be fixed (especially 4B, only one of four was working after the first night(

Download the app before arriving. It is so easy to navigate once you have it. Easy check in and check out. Updated rooms with air purifier. Very spacious. And, of course, the elevator ride is a treat of its own. Great value for the price. No hidden fees.

Room is huge and bed is so comfortable. The view is amazing. Perfect for a wonderful romantic night with that special someone in your life. The staff is great and very helpful. Definitely going to make the next few days here some of the best nights I've had in a very long time

Hotel is dated but very nice. Restaurants are pretty good. Overall food is really good. If you are staying in the pyramid, be forewarned that the elevators are all on one side of the hotel. If your room is on the other side of the floor, you'll be walking quite a ways ro the elevator.

Went to Luxor during the hottest time of the year. There was lots of construction going on to prepare for Formula 1 inside the hotel and outside the hotel which put a small damper on our time. Staff that we interacted with were great at the various places. I wish there were more options for food because there were a few times there were very slim pickings for options to eat due to restaurants being open.

Customer service was excellent in this historic casino hotel. Luxury likely depends on which type room, mine was great with a jacuzzi tub. The price was great, comparably. The elevators are even fun, as they move sideways! They had great music DJ in the general area, people were dancing. Great times. Thank you Luxor!

  • 5/5 Jamez 7 months ago on Google
Very cool hotel/casino! Architecture is very, very neat. The elevators go at. 39 degree angle to accommodate this. You can check in and check out all from your phone, no need to even talk to anyone. Staff were all very nice, a lot of restaurants inside too.

Best night sleep I ever got in a hotel. Mattress and pillows so comfy. The bath amazing. Everyone was super friendly. Probably the best food court bit other than New York Hotel and casino. Tender is amazing for steaks. Got a pizza place, LA SUBS, Nathan's, Johnny Rocket, and a chicken shop upstairs. They have the showgirls in this hotel and a few exhibitions too

A great hotel to stay at on the strip, it’s on the south side of the strip so you can head up north to go exploring. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing. The room was very clean, the bathroom was very nice! We really enjoyed our stay here. The only minor complaint we had was since it’s above the casino/bars, a lot of the people are rowdy coming in/out of our rooms. But that’s to be expected anywhere. Personally I would request a room WITHOUT an adjoining door, our next door guests kept hitting the door and messing with it. This happened on our last night there so it wasn’t worth the fuss but other reviews state that if this has ever been an issue, the hotel would move you to another room with no issues. The service was excellent here. And if you don’t feel like exploring the strip, there’s still fun things to do within the hotel itself! There are a few restaurants inside- 2 of which we tried (Public and Diablos) which were very good! And they do host shows there in the hotel, they have a desk where you can get tickets. Worse case, you can always hang out in the casino downstairs! Overall 5/5 stars! We were so happy with our experience that we didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to come back!

They were not done cleaning my room when I checked in at 6 p.m.! I had to wait outside until the cleaning lady was done. The safe was not unlocked! Had to wait the next day for someone to come and unlock it for me! Everything else was good. The view was great.

Came here to see the titanic exhibit so I can't comment on the hotel. Exhibit was awesome and a must see if your a fan. As far as the hotel, the walk in towards the exhibit was nice and clean and not too busy. Looks like a cool place to stay.

Located just off The Strip, you have to walk a bit or take a cab, to get to where it all happens. But the small distance didn’t bother me at all. The hotel has some nice rooms at a very fair price. The selection of restaurants on the hotel is big and there is something for everyone. Casino is okay. Not the best. And the interior is a bit outdated. But you know what. I’ll book this hotel again next time. The value for money is amazing and, let’s be honest - you do need that 20 minute walk, when eating and partying in Vegas.

  • 4/5 Chelsea C. 7 months ago on Google
I do not consider this a four star hotel, but it is definitely four stars for value! One of the cheaper places to stay on the strip and has all the Vegas amenities - casino, pool, restaurants. We stayed in the towers which had great rooms (better than the pyramid I hear). It’s not very soundproof and there was some dust/hair in the shower, but overall a great value.

We checked in at the beginning of the hack. Mobile checking unavailable, but no line at desk. Allowed to enter room before noon. Very scarce cocktail servers even before system went down. After a few days, you could play slots, but had to wait upwards of an hour for attendant to cash out of each machine. Still no servers. Elevators severely under capacity for hotel size. Sometimes the wait was over 30 min. Room and beds very comfortable and quiet. No compensation offered for total inconvenience on a 5 day stay. Have stayed at Luxor in the past. Still nice. It is now too large for me with difficulty walking and too far north. Will stay at mid Strio hotels in the future.

We had a package deal, and this was the room selected for our concert vacation. Good location, good restaurants, great access to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur via the bridges. Public transportation is close by overall my first time staying and I liked it. I would stay again, but would choose the towers, I heard they’re newer and nicer. The pyramid is old and they do not have a fridge or microwave, just ice. The elevators are scary, they go up at an angle and I almost fell inside on one trip that was jerky.

I usually choose the Luxor Hotel when I visit Vegas. I really like the location right on the strip and the tram stop there is convenient. I love the Egyptian decorations too. The food at the restaurants there I have always found to be of good quality and good taste. The check in process was a bit lengthy but I could see the staff was trying to be quick. The pool is beautiful and the casino is a nice size.

Great hotel, good value for your money. Drinks and food aren't cheap, but that's true for anywhere on the strip. The size and quality of the room had me impressed. Pools are great too. Oh, and Carrot Top show is recommended.

The Luxor is a solid hotel with a unique experience. The shape of the entire hotel is a pyramid, and the rooms are even slanted. The restaurants they have available are delicious and the entertainment available it fun. Blue Man Group is offered there, and they are fantastic. It's worth a stay there.

This hotel is old. The supposed updated rooms are laughable. The sheets were clean but the towels rough. It's huge and lots walking to different sections of the hotel. The check in was decent but the host talked me into upgrading from the basic room which the premier tower room seems basic. Granted I have stayed in some the higher end hotels my previous stays so I know to stick to what I know next visit.

Great deal on the strip. Pros: Decor Comfy beds Hotel restaurants Infusion shower Cons: Stay fresh room still smelled like smoke. We were on floor 26 in the pyramid. Ask for floor 29 stay fresh. Location is at the end of the strip.

We stayed a few nights and had a great experience. We needed a medical fridge and it was delivered to our room quickly after check in. The worker set it up for us and made sure it was working. There isn’t maid service each day, but we called down for towels and they brought them up. The new electronic room keys on your phone are great! The elevators don’t always respond and are due for an overhaul. We had to call security once and Ericka was kind, helpful, and quick to respond. The location is further from many strip amenities, but the service makes up for it.

For the hotel prices st the Luxor it is very surprising that the rooms do not contain a microwave or a fridge. TV in my room never worked. Parking Garage is VERY far from the rooms, registration and the casino so come prepared for a hike. Rooms are nice and have great views. Nice that the hotel connects to the Mandalay Bay. Do not like the high resort fees and the $50 per night deposit fees.

Excellent experience on a 3 day work trip. The check-in was smooth, the room was clean and comfortable, they cleaned the room every day, and the checkout experience was easy. It is close to the strip and has easy access to all the nearby hotels. I enjoyed the evening walks to the strip from this hotel. I wish I had more time to enjoy the resort amenities.

This was my 2nd stay at Luxor. Decent accommodations and great food options. I only found one bartender who made cocktails with perfection but didn't get her name. I loved the fact that I could smoke my cigars near the sports bar/restaurant. Nice views from the room. When I had an issue in my room they were quick to comp me a $100 voucher to make up for it. Overall, a great stay.

Great place to stay in Vegas! The room was clean and comfortable. The elevator ride is an experience! My only complaint is there’s no coffee maker in the room. 😒 A mini fridge would have been a nice touch as well.

f you expect a 2* Hotel instead of what’s advertised you’ll meet the expectations. The hotel itself is a little like Disneyland, beautiful structures but one gets the feeling the investors just want to cash out and then tear the place down. We booked a suite, it was one of the most run down hotel rooms I ever stayed in; everything was dusty, the tabs were dripping etc. find pictures attached. We asked at the reception to get it fixed (tried to call them but as no one took the call for > 10min we waited in line to tell them. They managed to repair at least the sink, the other one was still dripping then we left.) Pool: 1 of 3 was open (but really shallow), the rest was closed down. The showers barely worked, another thing a handyman could easily fix but I guess they just have bad management. In the afternoon there were a lot of drowned insects in the pool, so it wasn’t inviting at all. Casino: nothing special but nice staff. For low expectations it’s a good location at the end of the strip. Advantage is definitely how close it is to the airport 👍 I’m just sad for this place because it could be really cool if they’d just make an effort.

I’ve stayed here several times. I honestly do love the Luxor. I’ve stayed in the pyramid and the tower. The pyramid has shown some wear with wall paper peeling from the walls an what not. I’d say for cleanliness I’d give it a 4 out 5 in the pyramid. I’ve seen the shows and exhibits there and have enjoyed them. The good across the resort Is good. No complaints. Service is great and have gotten some really good prices to stay there.

I had a great time staying at the Luxor Hotel in Vegas! Check in was easy. The staff were great very friendly and accommodating! Driving in was a bit confusing once I figured out what to do, then it made sense. Michael in Valet was very helpful and did his best to explain how it works. I think it was me. I don't travel much. Kevin Johnson helped with my luggage. Very nice. Cloe helped check us out. Again very nice! Jeremy helped with all of our luggage when leaving. We had a lot of luggage!! Back to Michael in Valet. He was awesome!!! Michael remembered my name which made me feel very VIP. Which I'm just a regular person traveling. I will definitely come back to the Luxor when staying in Vegas. Oh!! The gym is good however please add more 10 pound and 15 pound weights. Not enough to go around. Its a busy gym for sure. Could have been cleaner. I did like the sanitizer wipes. Thank you for the opportunity to leave a review 🙂

I stayed at the Luxor and really enjoyed the experience. It was really awesome being inside the giant pyramid and seeing all the Egyptian architecture artifacts. I do wish that there was some better food options but the location is very convenient and the people that were in service of us were extremely polite. It made me enjoy the Las Vegas experience and I had no real complaints.

Although this is not a "5 star hotel," I'm giving it 5 stars for the $. It was clean except the food court night experience (and the smoking). Appreciate the easy check in and out. After a 3 night stay, I was finally getting the lay of the land. Maybe downloading the hotel map would have been helpful.

There were a couple of minor improvements that would have made a large positive impact on our first impression. The fan in the guestroom bathroom was caked in a build-up of dust and fuzz, and the drain stopper in the sink was broken. The picture on the TV was incredibly fuzzy, for what I can only assume was a cable or satellite stream. If these were corrected, it would have made a huge difference for us. Otherwise, the room was clean, bed and pillows soft, location fantastic, and amenities were as expected.

Pleasantly surprised indeed. I had stayed at the Excalibur on a previous stay and saw ratings for the Luxor that were less than favorable. Which was experienced at Excalibur. So when I made my reservation for Luxor this time I wasn't sure what to expect. But unlike what I went through with Excalibur. Luxor was really quite nice. The initial wait for early check in was a little long. But they had someone who was working the line and helped me get into room fur my Early Check In. That started out my experience in a positive way. I've stayed at several of the MGM properties and am usually quite impressed with 98% of them. (Absent the experience with Excalibur. ) But they were able to get me into a room early. Even upgraded me as I needed a bathtub for my girlfriend. Abs the price actuality went down. Yet the room was phenomenal in presentation. The Housekeeping Staff were spectacular during my stay. I would definitely return and recommend in the future.
