Staff in wellness room is great. However, for a place that says it welcomes all when you use the Wellness room you are subjected to Fox News on the TV. All 24 hr. cable news are divisive and a major contributor to the current divide in the country. There is no other side just their political view whether you agree or not. How this is in in line with the Y mission statement is without explanation.

Basketball gym is always booked for little kids. Terrible gym for adults. Small and smelly facility. Save yourself the trouble and just go to the Jackson Y.

Never too busy. Hot tub is one of the hottest in the area, although it's a little foamy. Great pool, basketball courts, and newer workout area.

Karlee is the most helpful staff member, if it was not for her me and my family would not know about any programs or how anything works at the myers lake ymca. Karlee makes it her job to make sure members know what programs are going on and helps us find what is best for us. It makes us sad she is only there on Wednesday she is so helpful and great with the kids we love her.

There was a bald white lifeguard who was incredible rude. He was only following me and my friend even though we were literally just sitting in the water. I'm 15 he asked me and my friend for our ages after he seen another lifeguard ask. My friend said he was 15 and I said yea were both l freshmen. He says I asked for your age and I said 15, which is fine. They he says louder I ASKED FOR YOUR AGE and walked off. He was just really rude and I would never have that experience at the north Canton YMCA.

Don't go in the men's locker room if you don't have to. Had a really creepy experience when some dude was like standing in the mirror doing something somewhere. I change in my car or before I go. I understand that it may be the location or an exception.

Nice Place but to many people that come especially younger people lifestyle are questionable and don't reflect well on the moral standards of YMCA. And be careful in parking lot especially on Saturday when volleyball and basketball had a close call with people in a rush too get the games.

Hours have improved. Brand spanking new workout gym area and doubled the size of the weight room.

I love this place. It's staff is amazing, as well as its amenities. The updates look great and the atmosphere has always been perfect. Great child care, as well as canton city before and after school care. This place is a gem.

My biggest beef with them is their Steam Room. It is always either down or not working efficiently. On top of that, it is absolutely disgusting and the walls are covered with filth. If they stayed on top of cleaning that or maybe redoing it I would say the facilities are well kept other than that.

For the summer program honorable last Yea at the start want wasn't paying attention to the kids that the kids were bullying other kids and one punched a kid so thAt is why I stopped taking my daughter's there they also need to have better staff they are so rude i am worrning you not to go there EVER

All of these gyms need staff to walk around so people don't monopolize equipment , follow the rules, and stay off their phones

Nice place to relaxing

We have been Y members for years & recently moved closer to the Meyers Lake YMCA. Staff is great and the atmosphere is relaxed. I don’t feel judged when working out, alone or in a class. I would recommend this Y above others.

This is my favorite "Y" for lifting weights. They have a great selection of equipment and friendly staff that will always give you a warm welcome. Although not a massive gym, the equipment is very well kept, up to date, and weights heavy enough to give you the challenge you need. It may get crowded between 5-7pm on the week days, but anytime before it is spacious and calm.

They have moved the gym area. It is very large and has a wall of windows so it's very bright. Overall good experience.

Everything is pretty dated. Most people were nice except the old lady that kept saying she been their 35 years and don't ever lower the hoops for little kids. My family thought she was quite rude. I would consider other locations.

I have been going to this gym since 2005, it has made very nice improvements since they merged with the ymca. They moved the work out equipment to a new fresh and larger work out room , added new equipment and created a group exercise room which I do not use. I like to do my own thing. What I like the most is the steam room, hot tub sauna and swimming pool after a good work out. Other gyms are eliminating all of the water activities, probably so they can extend their hours with out having any staff on.

I've been a member of the meyers lake YMCA for about 7months know & I think it's a great atmosphere. The staff has always been kind & helpful..

I just joined this Y, but noticed it's always clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I love the exercise classes they offer! I'm looking forward to using all the amenities they have to offer.

The staff gets the 5 stars It's just a real big Y

I must say my 1st time being here and the people are so lovely, helpful an funny! Especially the 2 ladies who sit at the desk. They really make you feel like home ! Clean gym bathrooms locker rooms !

I enjoy the YMCA my only issue is maki g the classes with is late in the evenings. I have early morning hours and making classes is hard.

The front desk people are very nice however the steam room is disgusting the Walls are full of hair and it looks like spit and boogers I called the CEO at 491-9622 ext 240 Rich Micelli never returned my calls more than a dozen times I won't recommend going to the steam room it's totally disgusting .

You can never trust the online pool schedule!

The child care program does not provide adequate supervision. My 5 year old left with someone no one there had met. The adult was not questioned or asked for ID. This is dangerous and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
