Bukit Jambul, located on the beautiful island of Bali, is a must-see destination for any traveler. The panoramic views from the top of the hill are simply breathtaking. The lush green rice terraces and the distant sea provide a stunning contrast, creating a picture-perfect landscape. The climb to the top of Bukit Jambul is relatively easy and can be done by people of all ages. The trail is well-maintained and offers plenty of shade, making it a pleasant hike even in the heat of the day. Along the way, you'll encounter traditional Balinese houses, friendly locals, and plenty of opportunities to take photographs. Once you reach the summit, you'll find a small temple, a traditional warung (restaurant), and several lookout points. Here, you can take a break and enjoy the views while sipping on a refreshing coconut water or a cup of traditional Balinese coffee. The sunrise view from the hilltop is fantastic, the area is not so crowded like the other famous tourist spot In addition to the natural beauty, Bukit Jambul also offers a unique cultural experience. Visitors can learn about the traditional way of life of the local people, and see firsthand how they maintain the terraced rice fields. Many of the locals are more than happy to chat with visitors and share their stories and culture. Overall, Bukit Jambul is a hidden gem in Bali and should not be missed. It offers a wonderful combination of natural beauty and cultural insights. A visit to Bukit Jambul will leave you with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation of the island's culture and people.

Bukit Jambul (Jambul Hill) History : The name Bukit Jambul was first given during Dutch invasion to Indonesia. It was given by a tourist who saw a hill on the south from the main road connecting Kelungkung Regency and Besakih. On top of the hill there is a temple named Pucak Sari Temple that surrounded by big trees. While around the hill we will see the splendid panorama of lush rice fields. This makes the trees look like tuft hairs (= jambul) from far away. Location : Bukit Jambul is located in Pesaban, Nongan Village, Rendang subdistrict. It is approximately 8 km from Klungkung Regency, 51 km from Denpasar, and 15 km from Besakih Temple. Facility : In Bukit Jambul you will easily find food stands and restaurants. There is also a relatively large parking lot in this area. Description : Bukit Jambul is known for its harmonious combination of hills, rice fields, valley, and also the beautiful panorama of the sea in a distance. From the hill itself, we will see the beautiful surrounding panorama.

Amazing panorama. Unobstructed view down to the sea, even the neighboring island. The rice field is not always at its best though.
