Excellent grilled meat and vegetables. All made fresh at the front of the shop. Comfortable seats and tables. Go for the combo menu.

Le saté bar opened only 7 weeks ago but it is run professionally. The staff is friendly and welcoming and know very well the menu and offers. There's plenty of vegetarian options but also lots of options for the meat lovers. I recommend their home made Ice tea. Simply delicious.

Overall OK experience but be aware that as the name implies sate is usually more like a starter or a snack. So overall for the price the quantity is small. The taste was good although the beef was chewy however the potatoes slices war delicious. If you want to try different sates the taster menu for 70k would be recommended but it's not enough as a standalone dinner.

Food was fairly good, service was mediocre as the people seemed disinterested, and the portions felt sort of small. I paid 74,000 IDR for the best seller combo with a side a la carter I'd squid and no drink.

Decent sate although the portions are super tiny so order 3x what you think you can eat. The food is cooked very quickly (within 5 minutes!) so you can order more without issue. I ordered the backpacker and chicken and was still hungry. Ordered with rice but was given potatoes which were like slightly thicker potato chips. They have a happy hour where you get 20% and they also delivery which is great when you’ve got a baby.

Definitely the best place on Gili Air to get a variety of sate. Portions are just perfect, gives you the possibility to combine different kinds of meat or vegetarian options. Perfect value for money! Visited 3 times over 6 days. Also the other dishes are a good option on the side. Staff is super nice and friendly. Would 100% recommend this place!

Very cozy and cool place to eat out if you’re tired of rice :D portions are rather medium, but delicious, and it’s smoked local meat! Comes with grilled veggies or homemade fried potato slices. Also want to mention the sauces they provide - the yogurt one stands out for sure! I loved the place, will come back. And yes, the price for everything you see in the picture is just 110k.

I can't believe this place actually has bad reviews with portions being small. If you get off the combo menu it's definitely not. We got the vegetarian combo - 4 veg skewers, 3 tempeh skewers, 2 tofu skewers, a pot of peanut sauce. A whole corn and either a portion of rice or chips for 40k!!! It's so clean there too, really nice outdoor seating area and polite staff. Will definitely be back!

Indonesian style skewers! You can choose between rice or French fries by ordering combo menu. Like one combo menu is a meal for each person I think men who eat a lot need to order more singles. If you eat with rice, it tastes like honey.
