One of the worst facility I’ve ever been to. - when I arrived, i was greeted by the broken elevator that seemed to be broken for months. Do not bring your eldest here. The hike is steep! - First day, some maintenance happened, for almost one hour i have to hear some random machine shrieking. - the invasion of the ants - stayed for 3 nights and within those short stay, the water off for two days. Second day of stay, i have to brush my teeth and wash my face with mineral water. No shower for me that day. - even after I complained about the water, the front-liner did not even say sorry. When i bring it up to her face, she then making excuse about why she did not say sorry. But proceed to not say sorry. If being bad and rude were competition. They sure win. Room was okay. Nothing special. For this price, find another resort/hotel with better services and facilities.

I stay in the room which has swimming pool only for my room for 4days. It feels like having private small pools. A friend told me to see beautiful scene from 4th floor. Unfotunately at that moment the elevator didn't work

This resort is beautiful and has great amenities. I really enjoyed the pool and the morning breakfast. The view from the pool is breathtaking.

Very good stay in sengiggi, it’s near the center of sengiggi. Food was amazing, pool view is breathtaking especially if you take a dip right before the sunset. You have a bike rental just in front of the hotel super good prices and super safe drive in Lombok as the traffic is not heavy vs Bali’s traffic. Not even speaking about the staff, they are so nice and amazing. You have a lot of nice beaches near the hotel. Long story short don’t hesitate to book your stay in Svarga.

Believe this place were once have it's shine and glory, but sad to say not anymore for now, we're Malaysian couple spent 2 nights, one normal room another night was with private pool,Do believe staff is trying their very best to keep hotel running but it seems to be running downhill, would like to advice to the owner due to I'm actually once a hotelier myself, do believe Covid crisis impact took a good hit on tourism industry, try to cherish the staff u have, wasn't easy for them as well, would personally like to escalate matter that what we've encountered for these 2 nights. 1) Elevator it's out of service, you'll need to walk all the way by staircase if happens that your room was like ours(highest floor!), it's gonna burden up staff to carry luggage all the way up by hands, there's one staff which helped us carried 70% up and he seems exhausted so we've give him a hand, but from the information Elevator was out of service for almost a year. 2)to be honest once we've arrived our room we're totally disappointed and shocked *Floor color stains,cracked(understandable) *Room name on the outside felt *Card key slot for electrical purposes was slot in by using a piece of paper *Washing sink was full of stains *Bathtub looks horrible and dirty *power socket we're nearly unusable * bed sheet we can see plenty of black dot stains * we've booked the room for our honeymoon, but the kissing Swan towel fold seriously looks like a sick peacock! We don't even dare to use it * As for our only entertainment TV it's horrible...u gonna spoil your eyes just to see what's on the screen, there's several channels in it but non of it is clear or visible.. * in a more simple word to understand is room is terrible 3) we've managed to make a complaint and change a room, everything seems slightly OK but yet...hot water only last for like less than 10mins..level to switch between shower head or water to full up Bathtub was out of order...can u imagine we've been force to use kettles just to make our Bathtub feels warmer?and it tooks more than 7mins just to see water boiling... 4) 2nd day(here comes the worse part of whole stay!!!!) *staff was very kind to help us transfer to private pool room when we're out for our activities *we've enjoyed the private pool despite of the previous horrible room and with our floating breakfast *we did a little swim at night but guess what, both of us doesn't feel right the next day, it causes us skin redness,itchiness, and my wife even caught a fever due to a infection *we've just safely landed back to our country and the first thing was we headed to clinic and did several test with tons of medication due to virus infections! Believe whole senggigi been affected by the previous earthquake and hit hard by Covid, most of the tourism was moved to Gili Trawangan instead. Writing up this it's for the owner to aware of how serious this issue can be, btw your staff rocks and provide us as much hands as well needed. Good job and keep it up!

Literally, the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The only star I give is for the service; the service people were nice. I booked the Varga room, almost on the top of the building. As my pictures show by themselves, it was really dirty, bathroom mirror was broken, rusty screws, water losses on the bathroom, chipped wall, etc. Obviously, the pictures shown by the hotel look amazing. I’m 100% sure these were taken the first opening day, but the hotel looks like not having any maintenance at all. Really disappointing and 0 recommended.

The hospitality was really great. Enjoy every second here. Cleanliness was good, also the room was tidy. You can reserve for honeymoon package and enjoy the floating breakfast.

Staff very friendly and helpful. In the room there are a lot of ants and mosquitos, it needs some renovation, and there are countless of stairs. Elevator is broken, you may have to do 200 stairs by walking, it’s really endless. Food was small and not very nice. We asked for the special fish and chips and they said they didn’t have any. The swimming pool was absolutely amazing. Wifi slow. Too much sun gets into the room in the morning

Lovely! This is a romantic resort, located in Senggigi w/no beach front at all but beat by the amazing hilly rooms, resto, and pool. It's really really amazing! I stayed in the room w/private pool, awesome.. For those who wanna hav romantic experience, hav unforgettable honeymoon w/affordable cost, and hav excellent stay. I found the wifi was poor.. But again, when you're in love and romance... Who needs wifi?

This resort is recommended if you have no difficulty walking. There are many stairs, one broken elevator and one being built. Our room was on the seventh floor... The bellboys happily carried our luggage up to the seventh floor... And the restaurant is on the fifth or sixth. Even if there were working elevators, you still have to walk a few stairs because the resort is built against a hill. You're walking and climbing vertically ánd horizontally. Our private balcony and the general swimming pool have no shades. The restaurant has a roof and around the swimming pool there are 2 umbrellas. Despite these things it is very hot to relax in the restaurant and around the pool. There is little to no wind and sunny. Also, in the morning around 4:30 the mosque prayers are heard really loudly. Waking up is unavoidable and even with earplugs the prayers are heard. We respect the religion and I was hoping the respect would be mutual. There are also people sleeping between 4 and 5 am. The beautiful view, overall nice looking resort, the delicious food and the super friendly and helpful staff make it a stay worthwhile. There is a lot of green and a lot of flowers which give a nice welcoming feeling.

input for Svarga Resort, I stayed on 28.29 Dec 2023. room Qadma 621. for a very good view, the only problem is that the room is very ugly, especially the bathroom. the water flooded into the room. the contractor who built this hotel is not good! The bathroom floor surface should be lower than the bedroom so that water does not rise/enter the bedroom. then when it rains on the balcony, the water enters the balcony and into the bedroom. It's enough for me to go to this resort once. We asked to move rooms, but the receptionist said we couldn't move rooms. It is very regrettable that the good view is not supported by a good room interior. In the restaurant dining room there are lots of flies stuck to the food. It should be a fan or fly lamp or candle. so it looks dirty. Hopefully Svarga Resort can be even better. thanks

The hotel location was great and strategic (nearby several convenience stores). The hotel exterior is gorgeous, several of them are instragrammable worthy. Great view of sunset and Mount Rinjani from infinity pool. However, the room is underwhelming compared to the exterior. The design is nice, but it does not have the best function. The desihn is so-so. More importantly Ac system is not cold enough. Too many ants around, a bit disturbing to stay.

Despite the staff being absolutely lovely, I cannot recommend this hotel. The picture's are absolutely from pre-covid times, the hotel is now in desperate need of maintenance. Calling it a 4 star hotel is an absolute stretch. Upon arrival it was clear that the hotel needed A LOT of maintenance. Just in our room: - AC leaking profusely (fixed next day) - TV remote broken (fixed next day) - WiFi didnt work (fixed next day) - The knob of the shower switch valve was broken, so showering was very hard (glued back on, fell of next day again) - Glass in window has separated from the wood frame - Half way through our stay the WiFi box was removed, so we no longer had internet. Offered solution was to use the WiFi in the hotel lobby. - Towards the end of the stay the AC and lights in the room stopped working, suspect due to heavy rains. Despite notifying staff, this was not fixed. Across the broader hotel: - The lift is broken - Everything, absolutely everything, needs paint / retiling A couple of other annoying things: - There are black out curtains in the room, but next to the bed there is another window with no curtains at all. So the second the sun comes up, its bright. - The pool is in front of the breakfast restaurant. So if you are keen on an early swim or tanning session, everyone at breakfast is staring at you. Especially because it is not custom for women to be in bikini's. - There is a lot of stairs (no lifts), so not suitable for parents with little kids or elderly people. - Pool is fairly small and not suitable for little ones. A couple of good things: - Magic view (towards top of hotel, prepare to climb stairs) - Very comfy beds! - Food is pretty good

The resort itself have so much potential, too bad is not well maintained. There are ants and bugs inside the room which actually is kind of fair because of the garden in the room yard but its getting out of control and annoying. I can also say that this resort is not for elderly, other than many stairs throughout the area their elevator is broken while their breakfast area is at the rooftop on the 4th level (staff said that its still under maintenance but we didn't see any maintenance, have also read it in another review mentioned this matter months ago). Staff is okay, only once my husband called the reception for help, and the telephone operator (reception) is responding to her friends loudly during the phone. However, apart from that. They serve delicious and well-portioned a la carte breakfast with many options to choose (possible to have in-room breakfast). beautiful rooftop pool with great landscape nonetheless.

We had the varda suite and the views are awesome! Sunrise and sunset amazing, pool is lovely and breakfast in the pool is an experience. The suite is very spacious and staff helpful. The kitchenette was an unexpected surprise although could do with some maintenance but we didn’t feel the need to use. There are a lot of steps but we didn’t mind given the value for money and experience.

Before you read my review. Please pardon my English, please enjoy my review... At first, I never go to this place before. And after I'm getting married. Me and my wife decided to take a little vacation there. Just one night only. We book a room that has a swimming pool included. At first we arrive. I really like how they decorated the main office building (receptionist) in front of the hotel. They have a large space for parking vehicle. If you bring one. Maybe like 30 cars can park there. At the receptionist, The staff is very kind and help us bring some luggage and guide us to the room. When walking to our room. We see really bunch of green scenery. I really like it. Looks so much like a garden hotel. Maybe because it's located near beach they want to make it looks similar like the nature itself. One of the inconveniences when we walk to our room is an elevator that is under maintenance. So we supposed to take stairs instead. One thing to people who never go here before is. This Svarga Resort isn't build on a flat ground. They build it on some steep maybe like a cliff ground. So some building is placed way uphill. And it takes some time to go up there with stairs. The elevator should be fixed fast please. After a long stairs. We arrive at our room. Very cozy. With a standard key to lock the doors, Not the automatic lock with key to open. The room itself is very large. With a very good scenery. A large pool with makes it more perfect. When i open the bathroom, it was really nice and the shower place have some unique decorations with a combination of stones and woods. Oh, and im sorry i forgot to mention this when we arrive at Svarga. It was raining, why i told this is because some of the water rain is leaking in the bathroom. Maybe because bathroom concept that using wood as it's roof. That leave a gap between the roof so it's leaking. I try the shower and the water pressure is so low, take me some time to take a bath. Besides all that. The room itself is perfect... We spend the night with peacefully without any disturbances. And in the next morning. We decided to eating breakfast on their restaurant which is located on the top of the hill. instead taking breakfast our room we decided to go uphill... Once again. Because the elevator is broken. We take a little climb on the stairs, slow and steady, with a lot of rest between the stairs, we eventually get to the hill. But im telling you. The scenery from up there. Is really great. Eating breakfast with that kind of view is interesting. Not forget to mention that they have a large swimming pool there too. The food is great by the way. Really tasty. And i like it... After that we going to our room. And when we walk on the stairs again. We noticed something strange. The stairs is wet, full of water, with some really strange smell. When i look into it. I notice there is a hole on the stairs wall. Water come through there, with some white foam. Then i realized, this must be come from a room that located a little higher than my room. And this is coming out from their bathroom. It's so dirty, please fix it... Once again. Besides all of that. I really like staying here. The food is great. The price is not so much expensive. And the view, from Svarga is the best view to look at the sunset... Thanks for reading all of my review. -Friendly staff who promptly killed the 50 ants that appears during the night -Nice buffet on Saturday for good value -Nice atmosphere during the night -Good selection for breakfast However room was not as appears in photos - ant infestation in bathroom sink (appeared during night), wooden tables and furnishings significantly aged, wonky lamp, bathroom walls recently painted but over mould. Sink did not drain very well so would fill up quickly. Double patio doors were broken (Very difficult to lock and still had a gap to allow insects through). Resort itself needs some maintenance before it can request the same price for its rooms. Can confirm lift is still broken and it seems unlikely to be fixed anytime in the near future (Roughly 4 flights of stairs to be climbed to breakfast for anyone less able to climb).

Uncomfortable stay :( lift is still broken so can't go to top floor restaurants without sweating. The room is outdated and dirty. Our bathroom leaked and need a scrub all over. The bed sheet is scratchy and the doors don't lock properly. Walls are chipped and room amenities need replacing. Having said that the staff was friendly and attentive. Thankfully we only stay a night.

Overall okay but restaurant is located at higher floor level and need to climb staircases. The elevator had broke down since years ago (from google review) and isn’t back to service until to date. No hairdryer. Need to request and sign form. And the hairdryer does not have heating function. Stain on bathtub due to low maintenance. We don’t expect there is no shower in bathroom. Overall a good stay with strategic location. However can be improved.

This place should be five starts, and it has huge potential, but unfortunately, we were very let down. We stayed here for 5 Nights in the Varda Pool Suite, which is the highest room. After a long journey to get here and battle motion sickness, we were very disappointed to find there was no lift, I also have knee injury so it would have been good to know in advance we would have a hike daily. The room was very dirty, stains, mould, spiders ants, but what stood out the most was the lack of maintenance things cracked broken, our bedroom door didn't even close. We had no towels in our room and had two requests for them. We only got two shower towels and no pool towels, but it was strange on day four of staying here, we received pool towels. The sunbeds for our room were direct in the sun, no umbrella or shade at all, also no cushion on the beds, we did ask if they had some they ended up taking some from the main pool. The one thing that they do maintenance on is the garden, which is great if they didn't do it EVERY DAY! It didn't matter what time it was. The chainsaw was constantly going. EVERY DAY 5 DAYS! The float breakfast is $10 extra, which I can kind of understand why, but you would think maybe if you are staying in the best room and for 5 nights 1x free, it was also very frustrating to book. We only had to confirm it 5x. Now, the one great thing about this place is that the view is truly breathtaking. It's an amazing view! It was a shame you couldn't even enjoy this because of the chainsaw always on. Also, to ruin the view, you've got a nice patch of dead nothing. Great Idea put a dinner table there for candlelight dinner. Anything is better than that.

Stayed one night with my wife and families. The service are great and the staffs are friendly and very helpful. The pool temperature are just perfect for my wife who easily get cold. The room are nice. We stayed in 623 and i hope they add lamp in front of the room. Breakfast is not all you can eat type, but it’s from a menu that you can select. Definitely worth revisiting.

We are from Malaysia. The hotel is Esthetic & nice. Breakfast & pool is located at 4th floor. During our stay 29/6/23-4/7/23 the lift was under maintenance but the staff is kind enough to send the breakfast to our room. I think they need to change the mattress as the mattress a little stiff. The staff is very polite & helpful. I love the scenery from every corner of the hotel. Love the open concept of the bathroom. I would definitely come here again.

From the moment we stepped out of our transport we were amazed. We did not expect this place to look the way it did from the photos, they do no justice! The staff here are beautiful souls. So helpful and friendly and up for a chat! - The breakfast 10/10. Big portions and so good! We were impressed and delighted with the choices! -Location was good, you feel as if you're in the jungle but you're not far from senggigi or anything else on a scooter. - Rooms, we got the junior suite I think it was (can't remember) it had an entire deck and pool, just wow. You could watch sunset from there and it was amazing. Beds were amazing, view, everything. - The ladies at the spa were also great, we got massages on our last day, so relaxing. This place definitely has honeymoon romantic vibes, perfect occasion for it. I had only gone with one of my friends, it was so relaxing. But we both said we'd be back with our boyfriends! Highly recommend.

Amazing experience, family loved the resort. One of the best resorts where I have stay and very children friendly. Definitely plan to come back in the near future. Well worth the trip from Australia.

The breakfast was good, but the overall resort was not well-maintained, e.g. the pool was green, the overall building looks old and not so clean. The water suddenly was off while taking shower, then the lamp above toilet bowl suddenly dropped down. Tried the laundry service, the staff in the telephone gave wrong information about the price so we were shocked when we saw the bill since it was far more expensive than what she said. Later we found out my cousin's shortpants shrunk. Totally not satisfied, then we shared our concern to receptionist, then we met a hotel representative who apolgized, but later we didn't think her manner was appropriate in this case. The overall service was quite slow and just fair.

Positives: - Neat architecture. - Adna villas are quite convenient for the price point with the private pool (pandemic price?) - Good hospitality from housekeeping and restaurant staff. - Shower had great water pressure. Not so good: - Bad reception staff during check in (person seems to be untrained in hospitality and was not an intern). - Breakfast not that good. - Grounds and gardens not well kept during the pandemic and is quite sad to see. - Restaurant is at the top floor of the main building, while the elevator was not working while we were there. Not bad if you don't mind burning some calories for your breakfast. - Design of the Adna villas with the wood deck inside the room such that bugs easily can get into the room. Make sure to ask for the bug sprayer. Many hotels in Lombok now employing interns--I assume more cost effective for the hotels in current pandemic conditions--so be patient with the interms if service is not perfect.

I stayed at president suite. There were plus and minuses. The plus are + The epic view at sunset. The view is just amazing, especially from the room + The room were spacious The minuses are: - The steps to the room were too much. It was like climbing 10 storeys on stairs. - The room wasnt well maintained - The water flow was too small, in the morning there was even no water at all when I was all covered in soap - The curtains could hardly close the windows - The curtains were torn - There were bed bugs, I woke up itchy and swollen.

Not for family! A lot of stair and extreme lift. They charge us additional idr300k per child. The view only coconut tree everywhere. Barely seen the beach nor the sunset. But the food is good and the garden is well maintained..

Definitely will give 5 stars if the facilities is working well, the service is excellence, and the maintenance is executed properly. During the stay while pandemic, the hot water is limited, the jacuzzi is not working, and the room is like no one has cleaned up.

Rat an it's litters, bathroom dirty, food super expensive.

Our first time here in this unique city LOMBOK under our best friend's invitation. After having traveled from Jakarta and having spent the first night here in this very peaceful and great surroundings, it felt really awesome to wake up in this marvelous Resort, hiding itself amid the mountains, under this situation of the pandemic. My wife and I we are from Thailand and had traveled together to many places in different countries, for a 4-stars rating, we were slightly amazed to finding how the price could be this cheap. Price could be 5-7 times higher in our country for a place like this. A spacious room with a private pool, TV with HBO and Fox Movies, air-conditioned, great hot water, a convenient safe box and a small refrigerator, great shower and bathroom amenities. Staff were very friendly, polite and courteous. We could communicate in English without any problems. Fully recommended to people who like natures, peaceful environment, with exceptional mountain views, to those who basically just wanting to relax in a private hideout. ...our first light room-serviced dinner...NASI GORENG and French Fries wrapped up the first night stay!!!

Been here many times and always feels like home. The design is standing out, although not fully friendly for handicapped person. The services are excellent. A poolside romatic dinner is recommended for traveling in couple.

They need improvement 😕 fully unexpected. Cleanliness are so bad. This hotel like abandoned hotel. I dont recommend to stay here. Not worth to stay (price are not equal with cleanliness). Better to stay in normal hotel. I just feel uncomfortable.

Stayed here during the pandemic, overall loving the ambience of this resort, room was clean but some facilities was not really well maintained (acceptable because of pandemic and all), food was just ok. Resort location is on the sengigi beach main road but there is no beach access, whereas beach is accesible if we walk for a few minutes.

Overall my stay here was pretty good. The staff were nice, the food and the ambience of the place was good. But there were some thing that left me quiet dissapointed with my stay. When I arrived there my expectation were high about the place, other than the lift still under maintenance after months being broken, so we have to climb many level of stairs because our room were at the top. But after I reached my room, it became clear that the place was not well maintained. My room was still dusty, the bathtub has dead bugs and spider webs in it, the AC was not working properly and some mold problem.

Nightmare on my honeymoon. Stayed in private pool room (neima pool) and found a mouse inside the room on my 1st night. We had to wait till 12AM to get relocated to another room. When we spoke to the manager, he simply said its the act of nature which cant be avoided and offered us free spa for compensation which never happened. The facilities are old and lots of insects. Staffs are OK but not committed and no one wanted to be held reponsible for any issues incl the manager! Service and food were really awful. Not worth for the price. Think again if u want to book a room in the hotel

One of the best resorts in Senggigi Beach. This place is very beautiful and very recommended to staycation with your family or friends. The rooms are very neat and clean. Besides that, the scenery is really soothing to the eyes because of its green nature. The breakfast is also delicious with a variety of choices. The service is also good and the employees are very friendly. The rooms are available in various choices and the price is also very worth it. There is a swimming pool with a view of coconut trees that are lined up very much and you can see the hills from above and the beach from a distance.

The pictures do not reflect the current state of the hotel. Lack of maintenance (elevator broke for months), sewer smell in the bathroom and mold. Its a pity because you can see the hotel was really nice. Breakfast was fine. Pool has amazing views and the staff was nice, specially the bell boy. Was the most expensive hotel we have been in indonesia and not the best quality.

The hotel was amazing. Service was excellent. We came for meeting . Clean hotel. The food was tasty. Good meeting room , Ac cool enough, good facilities. We definitely come for class again to Svarga resort. Thank you for your hostipality and friendly service.

So coool, the place was incredible. Nothing special with the breakfast, but they will give you a good services. The room was good, with semi outdoor bathroom, you will have a palm tree view while in the bathroom.

we were staying in Neima room (first floor room) and the room is not worth the price. the room or the resort itself is not well-maintained. the room quite small and dirty. another bad experience in the morning, breakfast restaurant is in the 2nd floor and as per June 26 2022, lift is still under maintenance. we need to take the stairs, the long and high stairs one. food was not good. again, the value is not worth the price and never ever recommending the hotel to anyone.

I would say thanks a lot for the staff, the director, it was very nice holiday at lambok and been at this hotel. We were in warda room a big and large private pool. The view is the must. Honestly, the best resort in the region.

I really expect something better. I cant say satisfied enough for our stay at Svarga. The elevator not working and we must hike to the resto and pool. The private pool itself too small for adults. So we didnt take the room with pool. The stafss at FO does warm and helpful. But at the resto I guess theres new staffs who seems doesnt really know what they must do. The bfast sadly under expectation for a resort hotel. Room quite clean and spacious. But for u who dont like to meet bugs, maybe this hotel not for you. We even laugh when some big spidey decice to jump in our bathtub while we soak in it! Lol Not to mention, a hornet come visit our room haha.. I guess we can say it all ok when at least the bfast , the wifi and the lift fixed all. Oh one thing was great , the menu we ordered from the resto at night. The tasty Pizza, tartar sauce accompany the fish and chips also yummy!

Staff service are good, but I would like to highlight on the maintenance of the room and building itself, the elevator cannot be used (and I checked from Travel App, it was already under maintenance since April, 3 months with no reparation) so you have to climb the stairs manually, Senggigi is quite hot at this time, but the AC in the room did not working. I would say that the management did not really put their effort to maintain the hotel very well. Other than that, staff and food, are great

I'm staying here today on Oct 14th 2021. Just found BUGS in their bed and a lot of death insects in the bathroom. Plus, their restaurant staff didn't wear mask consistently. Thought, they're "CHSE" certified... oh not to forget, their only elevator is broken so need to take hundreds of staircase. not recommend for parents or disables.
