Beautiful place to visit in Lombok. A traditional village that still keep the tradions and customs of its ancestors without being mixed with the modernization process. We can see how the local people live their daily life in traditional way. We can learn to weave fabric which is usually done by the women of this village. There are many places that sell traditional souvenirs and Sasak coffee as well.

This is a traditional village with a lot of tradition and good stories. They keep their tradition until now, but also open to new technologies for the young age. They are aware to become a tour guide if you are visiting the village. They are open to show you around the village to know they daily life and their home. You may buy their home made souvenirs if you are interested. After looking around their village, better give them some tips before you leave the village.

Great way to find out about the local history and although the entrance is free the 50,000 donation for the local guide is well worth it. You will also probably be tempted to buy some of the products produced by the villagers, including their home grown coffee, as all proceeds are shared to support the villagers

Locals have a very effective approach to make you pay the highest possible for you amount. But the do it without pressure, with smiles, and the place is nice and cozy, so its ok :) So just prepare the sum you want to pay before hand and then split it in two parts. Don't let this small peculiarity ruin your experience - the place is a must!

We rode our scooters here in the late afternoon from Kuta. It’s an easy 16 minute ride. You’re setup with a guide as soon as you enter. Our guide showed us the inside of a traditional home, weavers, a tower with a view of the whole town and more. There were sellers but they weren’t aggressive. It took about 1 hour all in all.

It's traditional village for tourism activity. You can either visit by yourself or in group. We can learn about the traditional cultures of Lombok. They got some area for parking and you can park at the side of the road.

Very unique looking village. Right at the entrance was a man waiting to guide someone around. Lots of fabrics and coffee for sale. We could look inside one of the houses. They grow their own cotton that you can see in the village!!! The guide asked for a donation at the end of the tour.

Beautiful tiny village worth visiting if you have nothing to do on a rainy day, the only downside east that you are not allowed to visit it without a guide, although payment is voluntary, you have to pay twice, donation to the village and donation to the guide
