Avoid!
Avoid!
Avoid!
Dangerous
aggressive
local
men.
Horrible
yellow
shirt
local!
Its
not
worth
it
with
all
the
other
amazing
places
on
Lombok.
Tried
to
go
to
Tiu
Teja
waterfall
with
my
GF
on
a
scooter,
first
off
the
directions
are
set
to
the
wrong
place
and
when
you
come
up
the
road
the
locals
will
see
you
and
suddenly
out
of
nowhere
one
of
them
will
follow
you
on
a
motor
bike
and
tell
you
that
you
are
going
the
wrong
way
and
he
will
take
you
to
the
waterfall
and
be
your
guide-he
wants
250k
for
this.
When
you
say
you
don't
want
a
guide
and
will
find
the
waterfall
alone
he
said
to
us
that
its
not
possible
and
the
head
of
the
village
now
only
allows
people
to
go
to
the
waterfall
with
a
guide.
When
we
called
him
out
and
said
this
is
a
Scam
he
just
said
250k.
We
said
we
will
pay
the
entrance
fee
at
the
gate
and
find
the
waterfall
on
our
own
as
we
don't
want
a
guide
and
then
he
threatened
us!!!
He
said
"If
you
go
alone
you
will
not
be
safe
and
if
you
come
back
you
motorbike
Might
be
damaged
and
your
helmets
might
be
missing"
I
said
to
him
tourists
will
stop
coming
if
they
keep
getting
treated
like
this
and
being
scammed.
We
asked
some
other
locals
in
the
area
and
these
look
scared
to
tell
us
where
the
waterfall
entrance
is
and
it
seems
like
everyone
around
here
knows
about
this
scam
and
group
of
angry
men
and
goes
along
with
it
or
at
least
doesnt
want
to
get
involved
but
we
manage
to
find
it
and
the
man
in
the
yellow
shirt
that
threatened
us
is
sitting
by
the
entrance
of
the
road
that
leads
to
Tiu
Teja
with
a
gang
of
5
other
men
glaring
at
us
looking
like
they
wanted
trouble.
As
you
can
imagine
we
thought
better
not
risk
it
and
turned
round
and
went
back
to
the
hotel
with
a
sour
taste
in
our
mouths.
Not
worth
it.
Looking
at
other
reviews
now
we
see
this
is
common
place
with
going
to
Tiu
Teja
waterfall.
