Nice place, ruined by locals again charging fees for everything, 10,000 to just walk/ drive onto the PUBLIC beach, then another 10,000 to walk up a PUBLIC mountain, just a shame locals ruin this country so easily, greedy greedy people, I'd advise just drive past them,

out of all those lovely beaches in Lombok, I'd have to say this is my favorite! not only because of the natural beauty of the landscape also because of the fascinating folklore about this princess called Mandalika! very serene perfect for healing or just escape for a day! and oh yeah the texture of the sand is unique as well sort of like pepper

Not far from the Mandalika circuit, there is a beautiful side around it, namely Seger Beach. Or you could say it's at the back of the Mandalika circuit. There are some tourists who are swimming or surfing at this beach. When entering this place there is a distribution fee of ten thousand rupiah for each car unit. We don't swim here, we just enjoy the beautiful scenery with photo spots which are the most amazing. This beach is no less beautiful than any beach. Come play here .. The beach is still natural ..

I would say this is one heck of a spot for sunset in the region, but it's already quite popular with tourist so there are lesser known spots. Still this was a great place to just chill with a Bintang beer. Giving it four stars only because there was a influx your kids trying to up sell you bracelets which can get quite frustrating. Wear proper good shoes to climb the hill up for sunset as there is no proper hiking path. Lots of surfing spots at this beach but definitely not so appropriate for beginners. Good beach which is quiet for you to sunbath as well. No toilets available but one small shop with some seats and food I guess is limited but available. See picture for more of the kind of sunsets you can get to experience. Definitely come here before it gets privatized because that's what I hear is happening along this stretch of coastline :(

Very nice place to hike up and watch the sunset. The only downside is the scammers in the parking lot sitting around asking for 10k IDR for “parking” which is probably a total scam because they do absolutely nothing. The view is nice but the local scammers aren’t a nice touch.

Come here during pandemic. This is basically behind Novotel Hotel in Kuta area in Central Lombok. It’s a surfing beach, but if you just want to play around the water, you can choose the beach in the right side like me. Just like a private beach, white sand, blue water ❤️

Stunning beach, epic waves, and good vibes. I love it most when it's not crowded—just chilling and enjoying the beauty. A must-visit spot in Lombok for some relaxing beach time!

Don't go here. The place itself is very beautiful. Unfortunately, you get ripped off everywhere here. Parking fee for tourists (10k). Entrance fee to get on a mountain (5k - 10k). Just everywhere they charge entrance fee. In addition, there are many children who want to sell you things and do not leave you alone anywhere. My evening was ruined….

It's ok but as usual a little dirty with plastic. There is a 10k "parking" charge located far enough away from the beach you won't want to walk it. Once you've arrived expect hassle from kids trying to sell bracelets and others going to sell coconuts. There is a decent view from the hillside, especially at sunset. Theres also a view of the Moto GP circuit from there.

It's just a stunning beach. I love it more than Kuta and Tanjung 'Aan. It's quieter, and that turquoise water is second to none. But now, getting there is not that easy as it was to be, since the main road is diverted to that one without parking lot. So we have to park our vehicles somewhere safe (near a hotel, but I forget the name) and walk some hundreds meter to reach the beach.

Stunning view from the hill Seger beach is located in Mandalika resort just to the east of Novotel Kuta Lombok. it is around 1 hour 30 minutes from Mataram by car. around 30 to 40 minutes from the airport. it has two entrances. Firts just to the east of Novotel, second is on the other side of Seger hill..a bit further east than the first one. From the first gate you will cross a bridge over an estuary... which is also a plus point from the first entrance. The second entrance your vehicle can go up to the beach at the end . Depends on where you are going, you can either park in one of them. Parking is 10K for a car as long as you need it. For me the best scenery is from the hill in front of Novotel. there are two hills there that you can climb on. As from the hill in front of Novotel you can see the beach curve just about the perfect size to the eyes. not to far, not too near. The statues of princess Mandalika and the the princes are also at this site . The climb is about 10 minutes up. you need to find your own path however you can clearly see where to step your foot. As it tends to be so hot there, you may want to wear a hat and bring your drink with you. I prefer to come here after 3 when the sun is not so hot or I will go to Aan beach first before coming here. There are some huts at the bottom of the hill if you need shade. there are also food seller and drink at the other side of the beach. I saw some people surf here but not people swiming. the wave in front of Novotel seems to look calm though From many people I bring here, all say it is so stunning though they do not like to climb it :)

Great spot for sunsets, with a few different areas to look over the bays from. The downside is some of the vendors are quite pushy and will follow you a LONG way or will just sit down next to you begging. Purchasing or not purchasing makes no difference to how they will treat you. Coconuts are fresh though (ask for Emma at the black warung - she was very nice, not at all aggressive. Jonny and Maria were also funny and sweet!).

We went here twice for sunset and sunrise! (What a thing to do 😂) why? Because we can! 🤪 the view was totally mesmerizing, I really love it, some of my friends even thought that it was in Padar island, maybe some of my photos angle were too good thus it looks as if it was in Padar 🤣 and what we like the most is that when we went there, there were just us, no one else was there, it felt like our own private beach. Beware of dogs! There are just too many of them! Don’t run! Stay calm and they will let you pass, anyway this place is close to kuta mandalika, you can reach both by walk if you stay nearby kuta lombok, no need to worry about food and beverages, you can find some convenience store in less than 1 km from the beach also atm!

Want to check out the waves? 10k. Want to walk up the hill to see the view? 5k please so you can see the ugly race track/stadium that's been built in what used to be a beautiful landscape.

Nice place to watch the sunset from the top of various hills. Unfortunately the people leave their trash everywhere, even on the summits of the hills. Entrance fee is 10k.

Just the right spot to get a view of the Pertamina Mandalika circuit of Moto GP and the ocean. You need to walk up the hill a little bit to get the best view.

Seger Beach is just a short drive to the east of Kuta Beach and shares the same coastline. The easiest way to access the beach is by hiring a scooter for the day, with clear signs leading you there. Seger Beach brings an array of colourful and active underwater life, making it a hotspot for snorkellers. On any given day, you will see surfers, swimmers and sunbathers scattered across the beach. Seger Beach is a quieter alternative to Kuta Beach with a different aspect and view of the water. The beach has a local warung (cafe) beside it and other restaurants nearby so you can easily spend the day there. Should you visit during February, there is the Bau Nyale ceremony where locals go out to catch sea worms (Nyale) along the beach. The purpose of this is believed to be part of the incarnation of Princess Mandalika. There are a number of accommodation options in Kuta, making it easy to plan your stay. The hills surrounding Seger Beach bring an incredible vantage point over the water. Take a short walk up one of the many hills and experience a new outlook of Seger Beach and other surrounding shores. The sunset from here is also a spectacular sight. During your visit to Lombok, indulge in Seger Beach’s quieter pace, and stunning turquoise water as an alternative to Kuta Beach.

😐 It is a nice beach and hardly any people. Nice view, but a fair bit of trash lying around. And as soon as you get there, you are hounded by women trying to sell you their stuff. Relentless. And then if you do buy something from one, the others follow you along the beach to buy something else. Consid...
